- I got to test out a variety of the Man Bar soaps from San Franciso Soap Company! Here are my thoughts!

I got the Juniper cardamom bar in today, have not washed with it yet, smells great though, I have colognes that have those notes in them, so I kind of known what to expect, and I was pleased when it smelled like I imagined it would.
Nice I loved that one, I’m curious which colognes you have that match those notes? I always try to find colognes that match with soaps or body wash I use.
@@mens_essentials Cardamom and or Juniper is used in a lot of fragrances, for example "wanted" by Azzaro has both of those notes, Cardamom in particular I am fond of, Prada L'homme, The One by Dolce Gabanna, Le Male by JPG, just to name a few, Juniper can be smelled in Gucci Guilty, Burberry Hero . I have been slowly learning to recognize notes, so when I saw this soap, I knew more or less how it was going to smell, Juniper being a bit aromatic piney clean smelling, Cardamom being spicy sweet, resinous smelling. I'll be trying the others when I am done with this bar, which may take some time since this is a monster sized bar.
I bought coastal driftwood fragrance the smell is fresh and cleansing the scent remains hours after ward very good layering I would try it.

I bought clean comfort man bar I like a lot first time trying good smelling and layering will buy again.

Does the scent last long?
Thanks!! The scent on the cardamom bar lasted about 30 minutes after I showered, I would recommend finding a cologne that complements that scent. That's what I usually try to do is match the scent of the soap I use and a cologne to try to keep that scent longer. The spiced tobacco soap is the one that lasted the longest on my skin after a shower. 👍

I wanted to ask, have you ever washed with one of these bars using the DC tactical scrubber? I own one but I'm reluctant to buy a bar (specifically the cardamom/juniper) because I'm wondering if it'll melt quickly when using the scrubber. If you have any insight on it could you please share your experience with the scrubber with the soap?

Thanks! the bar that I used in the tactical scrubber was the bergamot cognac soap. It lasted pretty long when I used that soap inside the scrubber. I ended up using the cardamom/juniper soap without the scrubber since that one had a tiny bit of grit I liked to feel that one directly on my skin. But all of these bars will fit in the tactical scrubber and I think it maybe made them last a little bit longer than without the scrubber.

@@kaijucrab7263 yeah it lasted a little bit more than a month. I think the tactical scrubber will make it last a little bit more, I feel like the Duke cannon soaps I use in the scrubber last a bit longer when I use them inside the scrubber.

Is this better than Duke Cannon?
It's as good as duke cannon, but not better. I think the spiced tobacco or juniper cardamom soaps are good ones to try first from san francisco soap company.
