I'm pretty sure that I remember reading that the artwork on Sudsy packaging is done by the owners mom. I could be wrong, but it that's the case it's more meaningful than something done by an ad agency.
Great honest review! I have been using SQUATCH since they started, and I do have a few scents that I really like. After joining a few soap groups, and trying out a lot of different brands out there, I think they are at the bottom of my list. Sudsys limited editions are great and their core scents are my favorite of any brand I have tried. As far as performance and quality compared to SQUATCH it’s not even close sudsy bear just knocks it out of the park.
I have been using both for a while now. I’ve noticed that Sudsy Bear products have better quality than Squatch but, the bar soaps from Sudsy melt and get used up 2x quicker than Squatch. So at the end of the day, they are pretty even in terms of getting the biggest bang for your buck.
I've used Squatch for the last three or so years and Sudsy for this year. Sudsy doesn't have as many bars as Squatch, but they definitely have a respectable number. I agree that Squatch has trended downward in quality in the last few years. Also agree that Sudsy has more of a variety in ingredients. Also, Sudsy really nails the food scents in bars like Old Glory and Florida Grove.
I’ve gone down the natural soap rabbit hole and fell in love with Sudsy Bear. Their products are a huge step above Squatch. Jacob at Sudsy is awesome and they give generous samples.
@@cnonrr there is a comment section during the check out process that you can ask if they have certain samples. You could indicate that is your first order. They have been really busy though lately so they can’t always do that.
I really like some of Squatch’s IP themed bars, but lately they’ve really been preying on FOMO & making some blatant cash grab moves with their limited edition releases. I’m thinking about giving Sudsy Bear a try. Thanks.
I do use both. Started with Dr. Squatch then found Sudsy Bear. Overall l would agree that I favor Sudsy Bear. One big problem I have with Dr. Squatch is that they don't seem to care what their customers want. Prime example is Drunk'n Pumpkin. Squatch released it a few years ago as a limited edition and it was a hit and very popular. But they never released it again. Instead they created Wood Barrel Bourbon using a very similar, but not the same, scent as Drunk'n Pumpkin. However there was a large outcry from many users asking for them to bring back Drunk'n Pumpkin. And Squatch completely Ignored those requests. They would not even address the fans request. But the outcry only got larger. So this year Squatch released Headless Rinse. And yes it is pretty good, but still not as good as Drunk'n Pumpkin. For some reason they stubbornly refuse to rerelease Drunk'n Pumpkin. Even thou they have released duplicate scents under a different name in a new package (Dope Soap is one example). Why not give your customers what they have asked for? Instead they arrogantly determine what you should want. This really really turned me off from Squatch. I buy very little from them now and have switched more to Sudsy Bear. Recently I placed my first order with The Black Stuff.
I have used both and out of the 2 I'd have to go with Sudsy Bear I think they offer a better product and better scents but if I'm being honest I really don't use much of either anymore Mountain Goat soap and Thrive and Glow has become my go tos
Long comment in coming I used both only their soaps. I enjoyed both but like sudsy more they got some are which 6.25 oz soaps gives them an inch they last longer for me plus i cut them into 4. Buying dr squatch online is kinda a rip because you can now get them cheaper at Wal-Mart & in decent pack at Costco. I do like how much fun dr squatch put in the ads & on the soaps boxes. Ordered 3 times from sudys waiting on my third today finally can get dark side of the moon gonna return the other two tho change my mine when it shipped. You're right come holidays they take longer to reply than usual but they do get back found out last December
I feel like these companies are 1a and 1b I can’t really choose between either and have never had any complaints about anything except for maybe a few scents from each. I think a lot of people like to hate on squatch because of how much they were able to grow and people just want to “support small businesses over a big company”. I actually like Squatches limited/special editions it’s just a fun little thing to me I know a lot of people ain’t a fan of it though. I think Sudsy has the quality over Squatch by a slight margin. I think both soaps perform really well though. As for shipping Squatch has done really good for me there as one time that a package took longer but I think it just got stuck at some shipping facility or something and it wasn’t actually their fault. Sudsy definitely takes a lot longer during holidays but for a smaller business that has to be expected. I’ve never had to deal with customer service for sudsy, but I think Squatch has amazing customer service. I had a complaint about the weight of a singular bar one time (I’m not that guy I just happened to have a scale near and was kind of curious 😂) and they replaced the whole order which I thought was pretty cool. Overall I love both and will never stop buying from either to me it really is a true draw and they both are great at what they do. Draw for me.

One other category might be "availability." Dr. Squtch products can be found at Walmart and other places like it. Where can Sudsy Bear be found?
Nice video…a suggestion since the year is almost over….Top 5 soap bars of 2023

How do you get samples?

Sudsy is far superior in every way

I make my way around natty soaps. Sudsy bear is the only soap Ive gone back to multiple times.

I like sudsys soaps over squatch but for some reason sudsys deo didn’t agree with me and squatchs deo has worked amazing
I didn’t really keep a tally either, but you missed it in your editing.
BIRRRRRRRRD!
Also, I would love for this to be a series.
Suqatchs shipping is garbage I have nit yet ordered from sudsy bear.
