I use both brands but I gotta give the edge to Duke Cannon because I will use more DC products. The only thing from Dr. squatch that I use is soap whereas I will use soap, beard wash, beard amplifier, and lotions from DC.

How do you go through a bar of dr. Squatch in a week?! Do you shower 4x a day?

I love Disney and stuff but yeah squatch is like for 12 year olds. Maybe my sons will like it. I just like history and ww2 themed soap is cool. They’re both pretty natural compared to regular soap. Honestly I’ve been enjoying the old spice cold pressed bars. Very moisturizing. More affordable

Tried several DC soaps but only liked one (Lump of Coal). Do have to say that I really liked one of their shampoo pucks (Barrel Char 004); it lasted me for well over a year.

Almost didn't recognize you. Lol. You look 10 years younger without the goatee. Great conversation video. Pretty much agree with everything about both companies. I'd also give the edge to Squatch. I purchased a few Duke bars for $6 each at Nordstrom Rack. I thought the scents themselves were really good. Especially their version of the wood barrel bourbon. Had the same shower experience as most. Very harsh drying/ skin tightening after the second use. I thought it was garbage soap. However I did try it again. Instead of using it daily I started using it once a week. It fixed the issue for me and I really enjoyed the DC bars. I think the issue was my skin was so used to CP that it wasn't ready for anything else. Lol. Like most Squatch was my "gateway" into CP natural soap. They were a great company back then. It seems like once they started doing the themed soap the company itself really started to lose its way. In stead of being great soap for men, it's now look at our cool Disney character boxes. Lol. Going back to DC. One thing I think they have on everyone else is the size of the bars. Squatch "Briccs." Duke has legitimate "bricks." Lol...

I use both and I like both. They each have their pros and cons. I’m wondering what you think about their shampoo and conditioner products. I personally like duke cannon more in that area

Yeah me too. The shampoo from Duke Cannon is better than squatch

When Dr. Squatch started advertising their products for women, without providing scents for women, I dropped them. I now just buy unscented body soap and use aftershaves. If you are going to advertise your products for men, don't suddenly change gears and push for a woman to smell like a man. I like my women to smell feminine. I'm old fashion that way.

What soap do you prefer? I'm super sensitive to gross artificial fragrances and can't deal with any scented products. I actually tossed my DC and Squatch stuff without using them. Dr Bronners unscented baby soap is my go-to or truly natural skin care which is slightly cheaper on Amazon and all natural.

Duke Cannon bars last 3mo+ compared to Squatch 2weeks+. DC shampoo pucks last 5-6mo. Highly advise DC dry colognes.
If you're a young gun I can see why Squatch would be appealing. But if you're a family man who has no dignity left, wants to stretch the $, doesn't want to keep shopping for simple crap then Duke Cannon is the ticket. Also advise you buy raw shea butter in bulk so you can moisturize after the shower and learn to use a single blade safety razor. Game changer on the single blade shaving.

Keep them videos coming!…never tried Duke cannon and don’t intend to….they’re commercial lite soap…I’ve gone natural and I’m not going back….as for dr squatch they might not be the best natural soap company but they’re the most important…the gateway soap of the natural soap world the majority of new users first use squatch and then start branching out to other brands

I used to buy Squatch a lot, Until i found Duke Cannon. Duke cannon is extremely underrated, I’m pretty sure they’re natural, from what I’ve read on labels. I haven’t seen anything nasty but I haven’t had all of their products so I’m not sure if everything is natural. The lather is also better. The value of Dr Squatch Vs Duke cannon is unmatched, you get twice the soap for a dollar more. Duke cannon is also more versatile, they have the THICK gels, Beard wash, oil, Cologne, shampoo, Pomade, repair balms, lotion, and deodorant. Squatch has Shampoo, deodorant, and Cologne, but it’s way overpriced. Duke has both solid and liquid cologne. I do like Squatch but the value for me isn’t there. They do have more scents which from what I’ve had, they’re great. Their soap melts pretty fast, leaves scum and is small. In my opinion Duke is better. I mean you may or may not try them, but I think you should at least give them a go.

@@darrinsteele9841 I’ve read from many people that DC dries out their skin but I am tempted to try out one of their bars for myself….you do get more bang for your buck with DC but I’ll stick to squatch for now as I still have a big stockpile to go trough
