- Nice bar. Feels good and smells good. Very creamy with little to no exfoliating. Overall a good deal if found on sale. Left my skin slightly dried but overall performed well. It wore down a lot quicker than expected. Enjoy!

It's tough to describe the cent of this bar, but it'd certainly help when choosing a cologne, or at least what to look for in a cologne. And yeah, they do wear down pretty quickly. Nice soap though.

I'm from the UK, and finding a sensible, mens bar soap is next to impossible.
When I was in Mexico the selection was a lot better.
But I guess people here still seem to prefer using body washes.

ive noticed fragrance isnt supposed to last long. heavy fragrances that linger for a long time are usually chemicals that absorb into your skin to keep the scent lasting longer, which isnt healthy imo since you absorb tiny amounts through the skin. Light and or natural fragrances are healthier since they typically rinse off after the showers done or at most its a light smell that typically doesnt last more than 30 minutes. Irish spring beware lol
best way for me to have a strong fresh smell for others to notice is to just use deodorant, and some cologne or body spray of some sort to the chest area of your shirt
Not sure why your not getting more longevity than that. I've used it daily for years and I'm on the tools daily with my hands. The grit in the bar does help with difficult grime and one bar lasts me weeks of daily hand scrubbing and body washing in the shower. It does well in a hard water environment too as I have just moved away from a soft water source. Anyway, you might get more mileage if you ditch the luffa and keep it out of proximity of over spray.
Great review, I had to let my bar of this soap to dry in a napkin for 2 week before using it, it felt wet even when freshly out of the box

👋 Hi great review you did (bar soap Man Canada) i love the Dove men bar soap line in fact I have all the Dove men bar soaps and it took me a very long while to rate them from best to least best it was very hard and challenging based on the scent on all bar soaps, all of them are good but here is how I rated them but only in my opinion please let me know your opinions on which one you like from best to least.

Here in Canada we don't get all those choices. I suggest that you try the Dove White Unscented. It is less expensive than the Men's bars. It also has a mild but pleasant clean scent. I like Dove because you can use the bar to wash your face; you don't have to use a separate cleanser for your face.

@@jhh9388 I have Dove White bars and some other vintage dove bars they are good and so are the dove men bars and the dove men bars are not really expensive in stores in texas at Walmart and Other Stories here it's only $4.97 for a 4 pack also the Dove men bars also can be used to wash your face and body and could also be used to shave with a 1/4 moisturizer cream, you can get these online if you can't get them in stores in canada the online stores may be a little or a lot more expensive depending on who selling them online
how do you know if dove men + care is expired mine dont have expiration date it has stamp that says 032221 i dont know if that is manufacturer date or expiration date can you help me thanks a lot
On the back or side of the box there should be what looks like a small box with a number and a letter. Would look like this 36M. Means its good for 36 months after opening. Every soap is different

I would say try a small spot first. Dove says you can but you should always test a small area first.

It may have a bit too much fragrance. But it is quite gentle so i would try a small area first
It doesn’t last for him cuz he’s hairy and when you rub a soap bar against course and thick hair it strips the soap bar so if your not hairy then don’t worry about it running out fast and if you are hairy I suggest a body wash instead of soap bars

I'm a hairy guy and my bars last alot longer than a week for me.
Obviously can't comment on your routine but for any bar of soap to last, you have to keep it out of the spray zone as much as possible. Ive been using the natural soaps as well, create 61 and Duke cannon and they are nutorius for not lasting.
