I've used the white Dove bar for 14 years, then finally gave in to the "gender" marketing, hahaha. I bought the Men's fresh Dove in the green bar and loved the scent and it lathered good. Just tonight I bought the Oil Control bars from Walmart cause I've got super oily skin on my face and neck, so we will see how it goes but overall, I do like the Men's Dove line up.
if you decide you want to experiment further with soaps , I'd highly suggest the Shea Moisture line (which is admittedly marketed towards women ) The Olive & Green Tea bar is excellent along with the Raw shea butter bar ...with oily skin you may find them TOO moisturizing, but still a fun experience.

Clean comfort is my favorite to Sadly i can't find the Clean comfort bar soaps of dove where i live at all. however clean comfort Body wash they have alot of Where i live so that substitutes the soap. as far as Good smell Dove doesn't really do well, in that area however Dove does do well in the moisturizing amd cleaning area of things.

I agree whole heartedly about the light scent of Extra Fresh. And it's not a bad smell, however, I think that it's just really weak. Although, I didn't really think that it smelled like Febreze.
Love this soap. Caters to my skin. I had Melasma for the longest time. That's really dull looking skin. Since I've been using it my pigmentation has change to more of a glowing skin. I heard that the sage in the soap helps improve younger looking skin and I agree...
So, do you have a video on the scent of the Deep Clean? That's the one that I was thinking about trying next, however, I just hope that it doesn't smell anything like Skin Defense. And even though, I didn't think that Skin Defense was offensive smelling or anything, I just didn't like the smell of it and ended up giving it to one of my neighbors.
I do like Dove but their bars wear away WAY too fast! I get about 8 uses before the bar has worn down to basically nothing. With Ivory I get about two weeks plus, same with Dial Gold Bar. So basically this soap gets a little expensive to use.

Some years have passed, so maybe the formula has simply changed, but imo this scent is incredibly strong. Almost like a very strong men's cologne. I'm serious. In 2023, I absolutely would not recommend this soap to those who want a mild or non-scented soap. I repeat, the scent is very strong (and pleasant, imo).

Having a bar of soap that doesn't leave a scent is good when you're wearing cologne (and I know you've said several times that you wear it). When using cologne, you don't want any other scent involved because the soap scent may not "play nicely" with the cologne, or it will just alter the scent in general.
I bought a 6 pack of Deep Clean and happy with it. Lathers nicely and scent is gone before I even leave my home. Next bar I want to try is called Herban Cowboy deodorant milled soap. Masculine smell and not overpowering on scent.

Nope, you would want an antibacterial bar soap for that... Cetaphil antibacterial bar soap is quite popular and I've heard people say good things about shea moisture black African soap..
I would suggest starting with Cetaphil which you can find at your local Walmart ...takes a week or two from what I've read before you begin to see results .. shea moisture can also be found in many stores around you Ulta, CVS ,Walgreens, Target ect.
My favorite luxury brand is Molton brown . If you want something kinda like but want to spend $$$ try the Goodfellow and Co line of body washes from target , they’re really good!
Bro I have a bar of extra fresh dove men’s care in front of me and I’m getting a headache from the smell after unwrapping the plastic packaging for the two bars. It immediately made my whole room smell like it including my hands WITHOUT opening the box yet it’s still in box. As soon as I opened plastic packaging it was like a burst of scent. That shit is strong scented guys so if u like that go for this I’m sorry but your review is completely inaccurate.

Mmm that's actually a good question ....If I had to guess I'd say the body wash is probably better at moisturizing your skin. I've tried several of their body washes and they are all silky smooth and creamy. .. I will say that after awhile my skin does begin to tire of their body washes though , thus I always go back to bar soap ...If you're looking to save money the bar soap is the more economical choice .
does it feel the same feeling on the skin as the normal white dove beauty cream bar. the same creamy feeling? is the color as white as the normal bar, it looks abit darker on the video?
+bushgreen it's a light blue bar ...as far as the feeling on your skin, I'd say it's not quite as soft and smooth feeling as the regular dove white bar ...

Dove isn't actual real soap, that's why. It's specifically formulated to be mild; it's a syndet bar: short for Synthetic Detergent. They never lather as well as actual soap made with animal fat or oil with lye, and they melt away much faster. These synthetic detergents have their fan base, but I agree with you, and I prefer genuine soap to "Beauty Bars".

Yes it does and I found that the warmer your water is, the better it's lather is activated.
I love the clean comfort smell! Like dove classic white but with a hint cologne!

Out of the Dove Men+Care line-up, I think the Aqua Blast has the best scent. Even then though, once you towel off thats it. No more scent.

Spot on! I thought It was just me, but now I know that the scent disappears after you shower! That's disappointing!

It's funny because the body wash version is more concentrated...I just dont care for the extra moisturizer that's in it.

The blue one is aqua impact, the green one is extra fresh, and the grey one is charcoal + clay.
You're not meant to wash your eyeballs with it. It says so, right on the packaging.

At Walmart, you have 6 bar of 106g at 8.47$ can. That would be 1.41$ each. Soaps are getting smaller an smaller!

Far as I can tell this bar doesn't contain menthol. However, the Extra Fresh body wash and Fresh & Clean 2 in 1 Shampoo from Dove have menthol in them
