A hidden gem is Mad Viking Beard Co., Beard and Body Soap. I love them. Nothing but really good ingredients, reasonable price and it’s kinda an all in one bar without being a gimmick. Like seriously, it both cleans and conditions both skin and beard really well.
I'm a Duke Cannon guy, but I'm definitely gonna be trying Dr Squatch. I think the reason they're so successful is they have a lot more ads. I've seen em on Hulu and just on TV and of course social media. Duke Cannon I happened upon by chance. My Dad heard about them on a podcast he listens to, saw their soaps in Cracker Barrel and got me a few bars. At first I was kinda iffy on them, but then I tried their Bourbon soap and was hooked. Just got their All Four Thick shower gel set and I'm gonna be ordering a lot from them. I love their ads. Kinda has a Bass Pro Shop feel to them. Almost like Sam Elliot narrating.

I've personally tried soap, shampoo, and conditioner from both Dr. Squach and Duke Cannon; I personally prefer Duke Cannon... Dr. Squach literally only lasted me 1 week using a wash rag; as to now my Duke Cannon bar is 1 week in and it's still massive and I can still see the dent of where the "Big D" was... If Dr. Squach wants to be competitive they either need to send 2 bars like AOS or double the size it just isn't worth the money.

Dr Squatch is FANTASTIC! But, with it's natural ingredients making is a softer, more water soluble soap and with it's square shape being less traditional, I started cutting my bars in half making it two rectangular bars. This way, half the bar is out of the water and not dissolving when not in use. Seems to last longer and feel more natural in the hand. I look at the Duke Cannon and think I might just cut that beast into three bars. LOL.
At least wait a week until it falls apart into pieces ..easier to chew and digest then. Longevity is certainly an issue with Dr Squatch ..otherwise great soap.

Dr sqautch is actually an edible product. As a person who wanted to test it. I licked the bar. It tasted actually pretty fire at first. But then I tasted the saponified oils. I could only describe it as a coconut and olive froth of a cappuccino but it tasted a little bit like what I remember soap tasting like when I didn't behave as a kid more than the taste of cappuccino

I doubt I'll watch more videos, only because this isn't the type of stuff I tend to watch on youtube. I felt the need to subscribe though, the quality of your channel is at the highest degree, personality shines through, entertaining for a men's products review video. I think the biggest problem for me is that it's a little long of a video. Almost like a podcast. But some people will love that about your channel. shorter, and more concise videos tend to make it bigger on RUclips however. I wish you all the best of luck, and all that to say I love this video and I think you do an awesome job
All I use is dr squatch but the only 3 soaps and deodorants I use are fresh falls, cool fresh aloe, and birchwood breeze. Those are my top 3 scents in my opinion as well.

There is another wholesaler called bulk Apothecary who is very similar to the soap guy and they do have the Squatch scents with the exact same names, although I haven't bought any of their soaps so I cant comment on if it's the same. Will be buying a loave of bay rum from them when it comes in stock though to see if it's the same. Even if bulk apothecary isnt the same quality of Squatch, the soap guy has over 120 scents to choose from so I'd recommend buying from them and saving LOTS of money

You can get the same soap from The Soap Guy's website and buy a loaf of it for $17 and it's equivalent to 9 bars of what Dr. Squatch offers. They are ripping people off with that shit.

That's a 5 oz. bar of soap you're cutting into four pieces. I'd rather apply this to the Duke Cannon Big Ass Brick of Soap, and the only reason I'd do it is so I wouldn't have to wait so long to alternate between different scents.
I know this video is older, But thanks for making this. I've personally used doctor squatch for about 2 months now. The first time I got the soaps they were good, but the quality has declined big time. The smells aren't as there, the bars are smaller, etc. Seems they are skimping on production. Their shampoo and conditioner is good, but it is not worth it for the price. Nothing on their site is worth it for the price. I have been looking to try out duke cannon, so this helps. Thanks guys.
I never thought I would pay $7 for a bar of soap or like airgearmaster123 said, men reviewing men soap. But, I have dry skin and I hate the feel of lotion on my skin. I hate spending a lot of money on stuff that rinses down the drain but Dr. Squatch uses real oils and natural ingredients so I don't need to use lotion anymore. One bar lasts a week so I am good, sometimes 2 showers a day, not bad for a 5 oz bar of soap. So, far the only one I don't like is Bay Rum and I am getting ready to try their deodorant but $12 is steep. But quality ingredients. I disagree with 26:06 statement because if you look at the ingredients of Cannon vs. Dr. Squatch, the Dr. it's all essential oils, all natural, I know my dad is in good hands; with Cannon he might get a chuckle, Big Ass 10 oz but it has the same generic crappy ingredients. I don't trust professional athletes, they are just business people playing sports.
The girlfriend got me the Big Ass Lump of Coal Soap from Duke Cannon. Thought it was kind of a gimmick. Turned out to be the best soap I've used in a long time. Lathers so well and smells amazing. Looking forward to their other products and trying out these other brands.

Products Worth Talking About Its not the cost of shipping since soapscribers get free shipping. Its more the time it takes to ship, i ordered some more soap on the 16th of september and i just recieved it in the mail yesterday (oct 1)
Products Worth Talking About Honestly i dont care how long it takes its just that it took like a week and a half to even ship (process) and then it took about 3-4 more business days to ship and they never updated or communicated to me about the processing issue. Id recommend buying their soaps on amazon if the extra $3 isnt an issue to anyone since they ship with prime.
I pretty much buy everything on Amazon at this point anyway. Seriously I ask around the office and house... "anyone need anything else from Amazon? I want to save Mr. Bezos some shipping dollars on this bulk order!"
I am pretty disappointed with Dr. Squatch :-/. Smells great when you open it up, but I don’t feel like you can smell any of it when getting out of the shower. 3 month update: so although I was and still am dissatisfied with not being able to smell the soap after you shower, I have noticed a significant difference in dryness of my skin. I used to get very dry skin in the colder months. After using this soap, I no longer have that issue

I've never used there products even though I'm on there email list. What I currently use is Native products. There soaps are liquid, last at least two weeks and smell great. They work very well on dry skin and can be picked up at Walmart or Target; however you can save money by ordering from the company directly with free shipping. Check them out...
I tried the soothing cold bar that was paired with Duluth... didn't feel all that great on my skin. Hopefully, the regular ones will be better. Been using Squatch for a year now.

I've never really liked the guy who advertises for dr. Squatch he came off as like your average jockish football player who has that cocky attitude. In comparison I absolutely love Duke Cannon! Every time I get a chance and we can afford it I really enjoy picking up a new bar from them at Cracker Barrel which is another retailer of their products that y'all didn't even talk about.

Dr Squatch is a reseller. They buy and resell. Not a manufacturer. Lot cheaper elsewhere.

Personally I love Duke Canon soap, Large bars. Lasts me forever, also I just way love their scents more and they seem to last longer for me.

Dr Squatch is great. The only problem is that their shipping is atrocious
You know I never even looked at their shipping costs. I imagine they've changed things across time. I think I've been a quarterly soap-scriber for 3 years or so.

Its not the cost of shipping since soapscribers get free shipping. Its more the time it takes to ship, i ordered some more soap on the 16th of september and i just recieved it in the mail yesterday (oct 1)

Honestly i dont care how long it takes its just that it took like a week and a half to even ship (process) and then it took about 3-4 more business days to ship and they never updated or communicated to me about the processing issue. Id recommend buying their soaps on amazon if the extra $3 isnt an issue to anyone since they ship with prime.
I pretty much buy everything on Amazon at this point anyway. Seriously I ask around the office and house... "anyone need anything else from Amazon? I want to save Mr. Bezos some shipping dollars on this bulk order!"
I am pretty disappointed with Dr. Squatch :-/. Smells great when you open it up, but I don’t feel like you can smell any of it when getting out of the shower.
3 month update: so although I was and still am dissatisfied with not being able to smell the soap after you shower, I have noticed a significant difference in dryness of my skin. I used to get very dry skin in the colder months. After using this soap, I no longer have that issue

The shampoo and Conditioner is amazeballs! Smells great, feels great.

I've never used there products even though I'm on there email list. What I currently use is Native products. There soaps are liquid, last at least two weeks and smell great. They work very well on dry skin and can be picked up at Walmart or Target; however you can save money by ordering from the company directly with free shipping. Check them out...
I tried the soothing cold bar that was paired with Duluth... didn't feel all that great on my skin. Hopefully, the regular ones will be better. Been using Squatch for a year now.

I haven't seen Duke cannon soaps in my local target's. We have 5 in the area and none have them. Although kohls does have 1 kind, buffalo trace.

I've never really liked the guy who advertises for dr. Squatch he came off as like your average jockish football player who has that cocky attitude. In comparison I absolutely love Duke Cannon! Every time I get a chance and we can afford it I really enjoy picking up a new bar from them at Cracker Barrel which is another retailer of their products that y'all didn't even talk about.
