Congrats on Silver! Unsolicited advice from a veteran Support player (if you want it) : As you climb ranks my biggest tip is going to be utilizing MORE LOS to your advantage - esp in valk - going up in the air is great but in higher ranks you will *die* very quickly. It's far more important to utilize cover than height as you climb through ranks. Those guys in silver and low gold won't care but as you cross into higher gold and diamond you'll feel the pain of it real fast. ALWAYS consider yourself to be the first target of incoming damage. Case in point on NY: When the enemy soldier ulted at 13:32? You should of been his first priority target. For whatever reason he didn't see you behind him / care and that's very lucky. There is a window to that building on the left that you can practically abuse for LoS with damn-near *unbeatable* cover (given their ground-based comp). Regardless: I can tell you're already listening to your enemies as they approach and that's *fantastic* awareness! You have VERY good rez awareness, too - that's priceless! You're doing great and your movement is *really* very good for silver - in movement alone I would rank you higher! - you are definitely going to continue to climb! ♥ Good luck! You got this! ^^
Congrats. Keep grinding. I play support and was generally placing in gold. This season I was able to hit diamond. Keep a positive attitude and an open mind and you can climb.

As Kiriko remember you dont have any fall of range, so try to use that, you can 2 shot widow no matter how far she has ran! So if you can stay "far" behind DPS and do some dmg amazing! any dive hero try to dive you, they have used theyr mobility to get to you, you can just tele to yar DPS to safety :D

Title: "How is this support bronze" Intro clip: Playing mercy Honestly adds up- seems pretty easy for a Mercy Main, regardless of how good, to end up stuck in lower elo's just because it's significantly harder for them to 'carry' a team compared to other heroes- you can heal and damage boost your team as much as you want, but if they don't do anything with the healing or damage boosts you're getting nowhere.
But the enemy is just as bad so maybe you're investing your resources into the wrong people at the wrong times? you do have a point but theres usually always a way to win

I’ve climbed to diamond since the first days when I watched Stylosa’s advice for Bronze. But it’s still on-point and focused on what the player can improve. Love it! Keep it up!

Hello PZA (or anyone else who stumbles upon my comment) I know you may not see this, but I'll leave my comment here for you just in case. Firstly, your Mercy gameplay was actually pretty good, very decent movement and good decision making, well done! For Kiriko I would strongly suggest staying more in the backline with your other support, as Sty has said in the video himself, and if the opportunity arises, and your teammates are healthy of course, then you could absolutely go for a sneaky flank on the enemy backline, get a kill or just distract their attention, it is a very powerful technique, then teleport out of there! I would also advise for some aim training routine before playing Kiriko as she is very mechanically demanding, also managing your cooldowns is super important, try to not get them baited out of you as much as possible, even if your abilities can be very powerful in theory, it's all useless if we don't practice their use to extract maximum value from them! Decision making with Kiriko is also a very crucial part of her gameplay, but you will learn how to deal with all kinds of situations in time, just try to rewatch your own replays and analyze what you could have done better in a certain scenario and it will help drastically in finding weaknesses in your gameplay style. I hope this helps in your journey of climbing the ranked ladder, and we shall see you very far!

I don’t know why but I really enjoy playing Mercy. Shes my most played Support, guess that’s what happens when all roles role queue only places me as support every single time.

I love these videos. Been watching for years. Definitely learned a ton. I always remember you saying “what is the PLAN!” Also to always think of the VALUE we are bringing to the team composition.
One thing i see not mentioned enough is that Kirikos heal has a decent amount of travel time especially if youre further away so what i like to do is pre-heal dps or tanks about to engage in a fight, similar to how youd throw harmony on them with zen. I obviously only do this if no one needs direct healing atm. Another thing that IS mentioned more but thought id re-iterate again is to weave attacks in between the healing. I find im not usually in full on attack mode rather i attack as a way to maximize value during the healing cooldown.

There's a major issue in Bronze. The way this games ranking system works locks better than bronze players in bronze. Between the RNG of the team you end up with and facing other players who also should not be in bronze, it's incredibly difficult to climb out, especially as a support. No amount of healing, great positioning or mechanical skill stops your teammates from wandering out of your immortality field. If individual performance had any weight at all, it'd make much more sense. Finding genuinely decent players stuck in Bronze is not at all uncommon.

He/She clearly was a Mercy player. The gameplay with Kiriko was definitely bronze, but with Mercy it was like Gold maybe borderline Plat. Sty was impressed ❤

The reason they are stuck in Bronze is because they play Mercy, it is impossible to climb ranks with her. She is a great healer but her only other utility is damage boost which relys on your teammates skill level. A plat Mercy boosting a bronze 76 isn't gonna add much value. So if you are solo queuing your gonna fall 50/50 usually and get stuck. You have to play a hero that gets more independent value. As someone whose most played character is Mercy it pains me to say but I recently stopped picking her when solo queueing and have finally been able to start climbing back up towards what my rank was in OW 1

This Mercy is leagues above most I’ve seen in the other medal ranks
I don't know if their team knew it or not, but when they switched to Mercy they were completely carrying the team.
