Another fasting trick: Just protein & veg for a couple of days before fasting & your belly gives no fucks for longer as it thinks it's died & gone to heaven.

On the street, It’s always more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike fast.
There’s a limit to the slow, though. Smaller than 250cc = too slow.

It's so hard to convey feelings and make your emotions felt by others about bikes without having the interaction face to face....you fellers do a great job, keep it up.!!! You 100% right about modern kit, to easy to go to quick... new kit lacks that palpable feel, smell, the following and love felt by others.

By the way Chris, are you familiar with Zwift? Its an indoor cycling app that works pretty well, and I have the cheapest setup possible.
100% agree with Chris about the 50mph average speed checks, they are lethal! I drive a cab for a living and I regularly have to sit through 22 miles of avg speed check, I come out the other side of it feeling tired! You are so much more alert whilst travelling at 70. I would much rather be doing 80 - 90mph with everyone around me actually concentrating on what there doing.
In regards to used sport bike sales...And using for road riding...I've got close to 40yrs of riding motorcycles...And over a dozen bikes owned...I'm currently enjoying a cbr6oorr 2012 picked up used with under 5000 miles on it, and absolutely luving it! What a dynamic engine that 600 is! Honda knocked it outa the park. And I definitely need to exercise a lot of discipline in NOT wringing it's neck. One can cover a lot of miles on this bike...VERY RAPIDLY! Great show, guys and peace.

I totally agree about the fun of older sport bikes. There is an old saying I'm sure you've heard. It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow. I had my old '03 749 for 14 years. Was never the best or fastest middleweight, even when new, but it was a blast on the track or a mountain backroad because I had to RIDE it, I could wring the hell out of it without going to jail or death.

FYI Sue, if you were fasting the likelihood is you lost a lot of water. That would show up in the BF scales as a loss of lean mass, so BF would be relatively higher. No fat gain. Big respect mate.

It is a fact... when I'm on a long drive and getting tired I find the ONLY thing that will wake me up (coffee doesn't work... open window doesn't work, stopping for a break doesn't work, having a tug works for a bit but is not a long term solution)... is speeding my ass off. Something about the excitement of risking life, limb and license says "hey wake up!" to me.
I will say that radar cruise, although I don't want it on a bike, is my favorite bit of new tech in cars. It's a game changer on long trips.
Working from home, so will be watching this tonight when I'm done - really looking forward to it. Just the thumbnail of you two in those bloody wigs makes me laugh. :)

2019 RSV4 Factory and love riding it on the road - yea you can’t use all the performance all of the time but the rare moments you can it’s more than worth it. Have other bikes but it’s the sports bike that I always take out on those hot summer evenings!

3. I like to have a little bit of balance between analogue/digital. That's why I love my mt10 - speedo, temps, fuel gauge, abs, traction control, cruise control and that's it. Still riding the bike instead of the bike riding me.

Great show! From a consumer perspective motorcycle prices have outrun disposable income, nowhere more so than sports bikes. On the same note media might be interested in the KTM launch but the Kawasaki KLR650 was probably the most important launch from a consumer perspective because it's such a well loved bike in the ADV community and, if you turn up to almost any meet, the number of KLR650, DR650 and XR650Ls will vastly outnumber any KTM model. 🙂

Guys I absolutely love my Blade, it's a 2010 HRC with no abs or TC etc, it pure analogue and feels all the more special for it, to be honest she's still to fast for the road but I just can't part with her! I bought the playful pup that is the 15 Street Triple R but soon got bored with it! I'm getting on at 54yrs but just don't want to grow up! My humble Blade for me just ticks all the boxes! Saying that It must run in the family, my oldest brother who lives in Devon bought himself a Tuono. It's all horses for courses 🙂
100% on sports bikes for the road. Main reason I bought an SV650 is so that I can ride it hard without going silly speeds and I totally enjoy it. The only time I wish I had more is on the motorway 🤪

Totes agree on the Mass Debate - I've just gone from an 1198 to a Hypermotard 950 on the road and it's the single best change I've made to my biking in 10 years. Even a rural 40 limit is fun now, and I'm back to aimless rides on our crappy B roads. Every crest is fun, yet you can still spank it around a corner and feel like a hero. 10/10 would 100% recommend Hypermotard life. Great videos, my 2 year old thinks you're hilarious

I bought a 2002 954 Fireblade and am totally happy with that choice as a road bike. No need for anything newer or faster
Great viewing fellas....I’m lucky enough to own both a GSX-R1000R and the Triumph street triple 765 RS so on the topic of what I prefer and would recommend is a difficult question as they are both like Chalk & Cheese. I’ve tracked the GSX-R and was blown away by its performance however you definitely can’t beat the Triumph for grins per mile at a reasonably affordable price tag too.

Mass debate was right on. Mention of turn key race bikes was awesome and in some ways it is cheaper and less time consuming than building a race bike. Early 90’s we ordered race bikes from aprilia 250 2strokes made things so much easier.
For road riding can’t beat late 90’s and Early 00’s sports bikes . Nearly All the power you need for the road and more comfy in my opinion plus lots of character . I have a k2 gsxr750 . Cracking show guys by the way

This is rapidly becoming my staple diet every week. I probably feel as much anticipation in the next episode as I do "Project Binky" which is a 7 year long You Tube series that is very addictive. Great job, yet again boys. Only wish you were nightly, Stuck in Blackpool on a 12 day on 9 off roster, so your news videos are a genuine lift in an otherwise dull week.
