I'm 27 and just getting into bikes thanks to you boys. Got my CBT booked for the end of the month. Never thought i'd sit and watch a 44 min long bike based show but you guys make it so enjoyable i've really fallen in love with bikes. Thanks for keeping the content coming these last few months. Now to go back to sifting through older 44teeth and BVG videos till next monday.

When Spring arrives around here my wife often remarks to me "that's the sound of your people". It's magical.
I do too, but the other 65 million find it quite irritating, hence govt are coming for bikes with roadside noise measuring in a similar way to speed cameras and even reasonable bikes/riders will suffer 🙁

Outstanding episode. Laughed a lot. Here in Hong Kong we have many motorcycle shops selling all the anodised guff you mentioned. The local Chinese absolutely love putting this tat on their Honda 400s, KTM 390s and especially the effing Yamaha XMax scooters.

Just bought a brand new Kawasaki Z900 2021 which has black matte paint on the tank. Per the leg-rubbing polishing point, I am now going to fit tank pads. Thanks for the advice.

Hey. Come on James. We’re racing here in Poland as well and tires seems to be manufactured and stored properly. With that having said, many believe though that tires older than 3-5 years are rubbish ;)

There have been a few good things to come out of covid, working from home etc. But entertainment wise this show is up there. I really hope you carry on. This is a great vehicle for you two just to sit and chat and have a crack on together, and thats what we like to watch. Thats whats great about the BBB's (when you're not being eggy and arsy with each other! ;)

Talking of Matte bikes, we do ALOT of PPF (paint protection film) installs for customers that have Matte finished bikes/tanks/fairings to cure the topic of the said issues they cause. 🙂
I had an '04 Z1000 that came as standard with 3 spoke coloured wheels...with polished rims! All I did was chuck a set of carbon Akras on it.

Spot on with the matte paint comment. I have a 2002 Ducati Monster Dark that I bought new. I have taken great care with it, but after almost twenty years the tank looks crap. Anything that touches it that has color rubs off on it, and as mentioned, contact points "polish" up. I will never buy another matte painted bike.
