Love this show. It's one of the best things on you tube and I laugh my ass off at you both. It's like too blokes in the pub without the pub. Please keep it going after lockdown you can always intersperse it with clips from your road tests to drive people over to watch those and increase your views. Keep it up.

As a commuter I like my Scott-olier equivalent. I just don't have time to oil it between Mon and Friday, which can by ~500miles, and then if i miss a weekend, its another ~500 miles.
Don't have stubby levers anymore but used to on an R6 I used to have.
My only thought is that stubby levers allow you to provide more brake pressure with less effort due having your stronger fingers closer to the end of the lever

Bought a K5 1000 in January with rizla paint job. Lovely bit of kit but has stubby levers. I'll definitely be replacing them before any track days this year, but honestly for the road they're not as bad as I thought they'd be. I find my third finger nestles neatly against the little nubbin on the end which keeps it securely planted on the lever, kind of. Still going in the bin though.

I’ve got crash protectors because I like to do a lot of slow speed training in a car park and they help protect if I drop it in that situation.

I done the the full works on my old Tuono. Tinted screen, tinted headlight cover, anodised stubby leavers. 🤣. Although I hated the leavers and changed them back to the standard ones.

I had stubby levers for ages on my 125. It kept blowing over in the wind and snapping them. Stubbies didn't touch the ground.
Entertaining vid as ever chaps. I remember the trend for flip up number plates which was fairly tragic. Always thought ears on helmets are crap as well.

I’m stuck in Afghan waiting to get home to ride my Diavel (with short levers) but want to change it in for a 899 or 959 even though I have a 200 mile commute on weekends. Good luck for Dakar that’s pretty epic adventure and BvG stop making us jealous with your wealth, buying old classics. Keep up the lockdown shizzle it’s making my weeks countdown go quicker 🇬🇧🇦🇫🏁
I bought my 2010 full power rs125 a few months ago and have been slowly returning it to stock after it having “adjustable” 3 quarter length leavers, red anodised bolts on the fairings but anodised blue paddock stand “pegs” it also has shitty fake carbon mirrors and led indicators, a blacker than black tinted screen and wank aftermarket non adjustable rear sets! However does run like an absolute dream and is all you need on country lanes. Plus got a cracking deal and values gone up so can’t complain!

Im always rocking a fresh set of Bolt on's.... changes with the season's.
Have had multiple 2-strokes (and small-bore 4-strokes) rev to the moon because of a stuck carb slide after rebuilding them. I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as you hit the kill switch quickly. Good rule of thumb is to check the slide with the air boot off to make sure everything works as it should.

I restored the SP2 featured on ‘show us ya growler’ and sold it last year to the current owner. It had been in storage (badly) for the previous 8 years so needed a fair bit of work to get it to its current condition.
This is the best news yet. Really enjoyed this one guys.

The Dakar series sounds awesome, can't wait. It's a big dream of mine that I will never be able to afford haha.
i love stubby levers. got big long fingers and i only use my index and middle to work the lever and the standard levers do trap my other two fingers, especially with winter gloves on and the brake needs a good yanking... it's the first thing i do when i get a new bike along with ripping off whatever junk is on the front to fit a proper clear screen.
The midland freewheelers are a great bunch of guys & gals, done cracking ride outs with them for their charity fund raising, well deserved shoutout!

Hahaha...totally agree with the pet peeve list. The can't see 5#h1T Black screens and gaudy colour coded headlight protectors often in tail light RED (overtaking nightmare)!!! I did have a set of stubby levers though which was cheap fix due to their adjustability and shape that gave better feel. I did swap them out later when the foldable standard length options became available.
Honestly, I like the shorter levers mostly because my jackets and such don't get caught on them as much as the longer ones when scooting between the bikes and the wall in my shop :P Think they look pretty neat as well.
Loving this series. Please keep them coming! Only decent motorbike content on this platform.

When doing the same route on your cycling your body is getting used to the same workout. The trick is to change your workout/route to shock your body. Try a different route or adding more hills. Make your bodh work for the benefits. You're both doing well. 👍👍

Cracking news on the Dakar lads. I got into a conversation on the Racer X YT channel about the used bike market and where it was heading middle of last year. 99% of the feedback we got on why was the sheer cost and complexity of new bikes and they all wanted something classic in the garage they could work with. Nowt like tinkering in the garage. Al I would like to add the fastest I have ever gone was in Ashton Court as well. Trouble is I had 50 Millwall in hot pursuit so it was no choice really.
Well done Al, big balls 👍🏻 - this year has indeed taught so many of us to make the most of any opportunity in life and this is a massive one indeed. Marquez/Rossi eat your heart out - they will never get a TT/Dakar double - or launch as classy a clothing range☺️

I put the gold anodized preload adjusters to save my ohlins from being chewed during the preload tuning...and I chewed badly with the preload adjusters....lesson learnt...
Glad you can afford the double price of track days. So long as you're ok with your 5+ bikes, 4 digit electric bicycle and 2 german cars.
For me though they slapped on another entire days hard work. For me it's a big increase. But so long as you're ok 👍

I wonder if my 99 zx9 will ever be worth anything? I love it, I've owned it about 6 years and bought it for £700. The only thing that's ever gone wrong was a dodgy bit of wiring where I took an old alarm off. It's dead comfy and still miles faster than me 🤣🤣🤣
To be fair the R1 ABS is not intrusive once you swap out pads to something decent. Granted I'm nowhere close to a GP rider but I do float the rear in hard braking zones, which the ABS seems to have no issue with on my 2016.
