Bought a few of those fire blankets and gave to family . Need to buy more . Have a large fire blanket in my car trunk if need for anything . After seen a small fire on the side of the road .
It says it’s reusable on the commercials. Do you believe that is the case and if so, how many times do you think it Will last Before you need a replacement. Thank you
I have one blanket i've used for testing for a year now. And its still going strong even after using it to put out more fires than people will naturally have to deal with. I'd feel confident in saying you could use it for years before having to replace it. I have about 4 more in places around the house that I haven't had to use yet with the exception of an oil fire I had in the garage
I had purchased a couple of these, but haven't had need to use them - yet. Thank you for doing the demos and sharing with us. I didn't realize they were reusable! Might have to try one on a campfire and see how it works. No harm if they are reusable :) Thanks again.
I ordered 3 fire blankets a few weeks before Christmas (2023) & never got them. I emailed them & they said they were out of them. I asked for a refund & haven't heard from them & never got a refund. They do not respond to emails now. What a rip off!!
The issue is that most people dont have their pan lids organized in a way that allows you to quickly discern the right size without testing other sizes, which means getting close to the fire and wasting time
The issue with most blankets is they are made of flammable materials. Nylon, poly, cotton etc Throwing a normal blanket on a fire, especially one that is activated with accelerant can very well catch a normal blanket on fire Fiberglass, even when covered in an accelerant, does not allow fire to move through to the other side opposite side. They’re fire proof above 1k degrees and reusable
Any fiberglass blanket would work. These cost $3 direct on Chinese websites and $8 on Amazon, unless you want to pay an extra $30 to the infomercial guys.
They do work as advertised. Fire extinguishers are great, the issue with them is you can’t use them on yourself, they spray toxic chemicals around your area and cause a huge mess. Fire extinguishers are definitely the move for big fires (prepared hero also makes their own versions of those that work on all types of fires, which traditional extinguishers are made for specific fires) but the fire blanket is a great option for a reusable item that is extremely versatile
Thanks for cool and realistic demos!!
Thanks, Joe! I appreciate seeing the demos. THumbs up.
wow, a RUclips advertisement that is actually legit. amazing

This is more of a paid advertisement than a legit review
I'm good. Short and sweet. If it gets too long, I get bored and don't hear everything.
@@JmGTM Because human nature. People would hawk a turd covered in coconut if it put $5 in their pockets.
@@JmGTMbecause that's shady?
If I am not mistaken, there is an ad for this product with this dude giving a testimonial about using this blanket. He’s an actor.
TY for the video but why cut the feed during the "camp fire" scene?
it did help though ty
Thanks for making the video. Nice demonstration.

Definitely recommend using them at least once just to see how they work and feel more confident in it
Very effective and useful demo
STOP! Amazing!

Did they ever send them to you?
maybe the government can make huge fire tarps or something for forest fires
They actually do have them, that they use for Car fires and large items that can be covered
cooking on the stove what ever happened to using a metal cooking pan lid that came with the pans they have worked for years
The issue is that most people dont have their pan lids organized in a way that allows you to quickly discern the right size without testing other sizes, which means getting close to the fire and wasting time
I’m trying to find a video to see how To put out a fire with it inside an oven
I'm gonna have to test this and post it
Thank you!
You bet!
Paid spokesman, not a realistic review.
Hahaha "not a paid spokesman"
Bud you work for the company
He is actually in one of their commercials giving a “real life testimonial.” LOL. Total fake.
The question here is, ANY blanket would work here would it not?....

Buy an ABC fire extinguisher or get out of your house and call 911. Those are two better options than this piece of garbage
Do they not work as advertised? (I'm debating getting one.)

Thanks! @TheKitchn had an article 2 days ago on this product, so I came looking here.
