- Hi guys! 😊In today's video I'm taking you with me on a little tradition I've started during this quarantine: #PrayerWalks! I'm sharing why I started doing this and also a powerful perspective I'm trying to take with me each day into my time of prayer, that came from something really cool I read in #Luke5 last week. ✨
I believe in the #PowerOfPrayer and this story really encouraged me to press into that and stretch my perspective to remember that God is bigger than the limitations I can see, and capable of moving when when it doesn't make sense to me. I hope this video encourages you and stirs you to seek Him in prayer more and more too. 💛

Isn't this story the coolest? 🤯I love it so much! 🙈💛I hope this video is an encouraging reminder of who God is - and that He is able to do immeasurably more than anything we could think to ask for or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). ✨
Ephesians 3:20 is the verse a video I was watching this morning was talking about. I always love how God lines these kind of things up!

This is wild. We push and fish for results at a time that WE THINK we should and when we think we will get the most results. But when God is in our boat, He is the master of nature, time and matter. He can move things at a moments notice to let us know that he is in control!

Thank you for the word about timing. My life had been "on hold" long before this lockdown insanity. I've been unemployed/under-employed for 12 years. (Not a typo. YEARS.) And pretty much trapped inside for 4 years (again, not a typo) due to ongoing family health crisis. Now with this current situation, I'd pretty much given up all hope of moving forward in my life ever again. This gave me a bit of hope. I think I'll go for a walk right now, myself!
I'm praying for you now as I type this, Yesica! I'm so glad this video gave you hope, and I pray God continues to build that hope inside of you as you seek Him. Also yes, I definitely recommend the prayer walks - having that set aside time with Him each day is so powerful 🙌🏼

How are you now?
I’ve been closer to God during this time by praying too. I like to hear other people’s stories and am a good listener and have been inspired to draw closer to my family and my church family by listening to their sermons and having faith that God will provide and that he will be loving to us all and I love to hear the Holy Spirit building us up as neighbors to share Jesus word. So I am learning how to share his word and his faith and his grace to love my family more as it grows in the church.
Just love how we can read the Bible cover to cover and come away with new insight each time!!! Praise God!!!

I needed this! It's a reminder of what my intentions once were at the beginning of this lockdown. Yet I can say my fire has dwindled a bit getting caught up in my own feelings at times! Thank You God! You show up when I need You! Every day!

Let us remember, O Lord, that we are unrighteous in ourselves and in daily need of repentance and forgiveness. Let us come to you as the "Great Physician of our soul" for the spiritual healing that only you can bestow. We cannot forge our own path to spiritual wellness by man's psychological methods or by sheer will-power but only by Your Spirit. Show us our weakness, we pray, and then show us your strength in making us strong. Amen Shalom.

When you walk, ask for forgiveness, yours, your neighbors, your community, the specific area you are in... 13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.

Peter found himself wondering...may be saying to himself,I am an expert,a professional fisherman..
What would a carpenter from Nazareth know about fishing?
Peter had been fishing in these waters since he was a youth and knew the most opportune time to fish,definitely not this late in the morning!
So,as the boat reached the deep waters, Peter just went through the motions and cast one net into the water. One net, he thought, was enough to prove his point that there simply weren’t any fish to be caught! Had it been anyone else,anyone but this man who carried himself with quiet authority and a warm friendliness,he would have scoffed at the request.
But this Man . . . something in His voice and carriage just made Peter acquiesce to His request more readily than his head knew why and despite every instinct telling him nothing was going to happen.
What happened next stunned Peter.
It was as if the net suddenly became a fish magnet!
And Peter didn't know that The Creator was in the boat...
His divine touch turn his boat into a blessing
And caught a huge amount of fishes ...with net breaking,boat sinking with loads of fishes !
When we trust JESUS with our everything,HE will make sure, it'll come back to us with good measure,pressed down,shaken together,and running over,will be poured into our laps !!!
