Especially when we're in undesirable circumstances or circumstances we wish would change, it's really easy to become hyper fixated on our circumstances and obsess over them...but that can actually make everything a lot worse. If you're wanting to see true change, the best thing you can do is focus on God instead. Easier said than done, I know. In today's video we're looking at Matthew 14 at the story of Peter walking on water to gain practical encouragement on how to focus on God not your problems, and how this literally changes everything. I pray it encourages you in whatever you're walking through!

I had a dream about this the other day what happened was there was like an earthquake or a storm that was outside you could see in the dream maybe outside of the door or window and and the dream I started praying and it stopped
From the smallest to the largest details, God cares about anything that concerns you. It can be a matter that isn't that important in the grand scheme of things yet, He cares. That's amazing to me.
going to leave this here as a reminder for myself. Whenever this gets a like I will get reminded. Sometimes I wonder why God makes me wait. I know his plan is perfect. I know God has me waiting for a reason. It feels like I've been in isolation for a long period now. I'm about to get back into doing what I love. I know God will always be with me. I give my life to Jesus Christ. I know looking back I'll be able to connect the dots. Understanding it had to happen just as it did. All the heartbreaks, setbacks, and nights worrying about if you're on the right path. It will all be lifted once I get there. To anyone out there. God will never abandon you

I have learned that God allows trials and hardships to happen against His chosen inorder to grow their faith, to strengthen their stance in Christ. Ultimately to mature the believer and sharpen them greater then any two edge sword.
My priority is God number one. God is number one in my life. God is always number one in my life no one else but God this is true. I’m coming from Chicago and I’m listening to the video.
Something the Lord has taught me from bad circumstances is just simply that he loves me. I mean if someone didn’t TRULY love you, they wouldn’t ALWAYS deliver you, from everything, every hard thing, weather it’s big or even pretty small. Just the constant reminder of God’s love
I had three accidents this month and let ke tell you .....The fact that God has given me grace!!!!!! Is like all i can do is surrender and be thankful for His Grace and mercy!

During the storm the Lord showed me his loving kindness and compassion! He revealed to me that when I weep at his feet he not only listens but consoles me. His care for me knows no hours or minutes because when I call unto him he’s always there.
I needed this because according to the world my life is actually falling apart and drowning in worries, indeed my circumstances are scary to everyone around me! But guess what my God is good and I am focusing on him because he is using this time to build my character ❤

This is so timely! I was just battling with anxiety and was overthinking over the action of another person. I was at war with myself until I declared God’s power and sovereignty over my circumstance. I shifted my focus on how great is our God and how He has already put everything in place where worry is not welcome. A wave of peace came rushing over me after such declaration that I can finally lay in bed ready to sleep.
Thank you for sharing this 🙏🏼🤍 one thing I learned about difficult circumstances is that we can still have joy through them. “The joy of the Lord is our strength.” (Nehemiah 8: 10)
Happiness comes from emotions based off of outward experiences, JOY comes from within. There is no true joy without God and I am so thankful He brings us joyful hearts even through trials for it is the best medicine we can have. In the midst of pain we can always feel His joy.

God always will answer your prayers if you are a true born again believer.
Sometimes His answer is Yes
Sometimes No
But most the time, His answer is, be patient and trust in Me!
It’s soooo easy for us humans to be impatient…. Including me.
I am also in a dire mess. Anxiety has peaked. Losing sleep, etc etc.
But God is building us through it all. Especially if we have Faith in Him. He’s real and His the victory and triumph you will experience, through Him, will bring Glorification and incredible joy in Him. Be Patient

So true about clothing being impactful evangelistic tools! I have a t-shirt that says read the Bible, and out of any shirt I have I’ve got reactions from that one. Remember God saw Hagar in the desert. He always hears us. Augustine is like the month of August! If that helps! Many times I get lost in the trials of life and have doubt, but when I focus on Him. Life is peaceful!

Amen. Jesus protect my children. I’m overwhelmed because I’m on my own as a single mother. My husband passed many years ago. I have no one to turn to, but you. Heavenly Father. Give me strength Lord my sons are both special needs children. Guide me as I struggle to buy groceries, and as I struggle to pay rent every month is a struggle and I’m in fear of losing my home. one thing i've learned about God through difficult circumstances is that He remains Holy and Good no matter the situations of my heart (inside) and life (outside). but thank God, He's also not a distant Holy God who doesn't care about what's going on down here, it's good to believe that He's patiently walking with us through these difficult moments. If I am driving a car and I focus on God instead of the road I may have an accident. A lot of those beautiful sayings don't work in real life. You don't go take a test focusing on God, you better study. I know people that focus on God, and nothing happens and people that don't even believe in God getting the blessings I pray for.
Def needed this today! Was a rough one @work! I wished I had found this earlier. Yet, Gods timing is always perfect-I have to stop myself when I doubt myself & trust fully in God to handle all my challenges-Thank you!

This is crazy. I was just contemplating rowing against the wind yesterday, the day you posted this. So my question is do you stop rowing when it’s futile? Cease earthly striving when the headwinds are too strong and wait for God to improve conditions?
I was homeless, did drugs, went into prison, where I got to know God. He changed my life. Now I have a home, a wife and a lovely year old daughter (Amber), and a stream of income that gats me $47,000 weekly. Plus a new identity - a child of God, Hallelujah!!!🇺🇲❣️♥️❤️

What do you do when it lasts for years and every day is the same? I’ve been unemployed for over a year after being fired by to most toxic manager and I’m soooo bored and tired of back to back financial crises. I’ve been in an isolation period since 2021 and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. I feel like I’m just existing at this point, don’t really have anything to do.

I have the best husband and best of everything.
But after I had my third baby I got migraine which includes dizziness, literally every day.
I am not able to literally do anything like before. I am constantly sad. Constantly worried about my health. Just not spending anytime happily with family.

So what do you think when I said in the comment you were your video for the very first time we all go to tough times even though you’re Christian believer that’s it doesn’t matter, but we know that God is with us who could be against us when I’m going to trials and tribulations I put my eyes on God I gotta trust in God I just the only one I trust. I can’t trust a human being in this world cause that person will let me down, which is true, but God never will let me down. He will always be there for me. He will always be there for you. He will be there for anybody that calls up on his name, so maybe I’m saying I don’t know but I know one thing that God is in control of everybody situation. God is first in my life. I will pray and I keep praying and seeking God’s space and God knows what I need. God when I God knows what I don’t need and when I wake up in the morning when you wake up in the morning, God knows what you need before you even ask Guy his ear. He hears us hears our minds and he knows what we’re going through. He knows we’re sick. He knows what we’re down. He knows everything of us God Almighty. We live here in Chicago for a very long time. A lot of I see things going on. I work here, my life and school when I was a kid, my mom passed away but mama always trained me. My two brothers and my sister the right way my dad was a pastor before but he can’t be a pastor no more and he had to resign because he had a heart attack my dad but he’s doing OK thank God for that. I’m doing OK spiritually sometimes I feel lonely and I feel lonely and I would like to talk to a woman or all the respect, I would like to get to know her get to know me but all the respect yes all the respect and you know there’s no woman there’s no guy they can say you don’t need a woman or you don’t need a man that’s a lie everybody love, everybody attention, man, and a womanyou know I would like to talk to that person. She gets to know me more and why not not to be friends so you’ll be blessed now you’re a great day. I hope I hear from you very soon.❤❤❤
