You can't do it alone...and you don't have to. In today's video, we're doing an Exodus 17 Bible study taking a look at one my favorite stories: Aaron and Hur holding up the arms of Moses as he intercedes for Joshua to help the Israelites win the battle against the Amalekites. There are sooo many encouraging reminders we can glean from this story. If you are tired in fighting that sin struggle, tired in enduring a season of suffering, tired of walking out the calling God has on your life...could it be because you have been trying to do it alone? Could God be gently trying to remind you that you don't have to - and He actually commands you not to?

Hi, good morning, I've been attracted to this woman who is the same age as me for 9 months now. She is a single mom with one daughter, so I know she is busy with mother duties right now. I pray to the Lord Jesus & read my Bible often & about it. I miss her a lot, last time I seen her was 3 months ago & it was brief for less than 10 minutes. I've had a couple of dreams about her, last time was March 30th I was praying to The Lord in tears in my dream & as I was waking up I was still praying & in tears, saying "please God, She is all I want all I desire." Only thing I want.
I am deeply interested in her and genuinely care about this Woman. I believe she knows my interest in her cause Women know they are smart, You ladies are very smart.
I never felt this way about a woman in my entire life 😥🥺 PLEASE LORD JESUS if it's in your will to bring us together I'm serious about her.

I have been telling God days that I am tired. I tried to pray but all I could do was apologize for being so tired and not having it in me to pray. I am just really overwhelmed with life’s trials right now. I’m just tired. I know I am not alone, but man it’s a lot.

I can relate, I’m tired. I’ve been out of work since November and searching diligently and nothing. Everything seems to be falling apart but I’m trying to have faith and some days are better than others. He’s faithful and can give us rest let’s make time to relieve our minds with His Word.

Get used to it. We are not promised marriage and being single sucks. I have prayed for so long that I stopped. God chooses who to bless and who not to. Just get used to being alone. It sucks but God does it for a reason. The only promise is salvation through Christ Jesus. Nothing else is promised. Not health, wealth, marriage, or even friends.

Since I got a new job, I feel like I lost my life. I've been living just to work. I am so tired. I'm not happy with what I'm doing. Ironically, I prayed hard for this company and this job late last year. Now, I'm questioning why I'm here, my worth as a professional. I lost my confidence along the way. I'm still here fighting to survive everyday. I always feel anxious, scared and have no peace of mind. I don't know why God placed me here. I do not understand yet why he placed me here. I don't know what to do -- life's been tough lately. I don't know if he's telling me to quit or continue to fight and defeat my inner demons. Every day is so hard. 😢
If God brought you to it, He will bring you through it! He will never leave you nor forsake you! When we are stressed and have no peace of mind, I always remind myself to 'leave it to God'. He will take these challenges on, he will take on the stress, the lack of peace and the overwhelming situation you have so that you will have no stress and have much more peace in your mind. I pray for your success, peace and happiness :)
Same! God told me to quit my job and I didn’t until I got fired for missing too many days. I was exhausted and it was mentally draining. I didn’t have much time to spend with my toddler and now I have a lot of time with him and I’m at peace 😅. Praying things will get better for you ❤

Today was... well, I'm too tired to write in detail, but this came at a much needed time. I can quite literally barely stand out of how tired I am, and I'm so tired that I can barely pray. I don't know how. I'm just confused, and tired. I just pray that there is someone out there who is praying for me.

I- I honestly don't know what to say. I've been so tired lately, physically and mentally with school and stress and all and I know the only way I'm alive is because of the Holy Spirit. Yesterday I cried a lot to God... just telling Him I'm tired and I cannot do it. There is so much responsibility of trying to maintain a balance between school life, personal fun and Spiritual life. I was still in the process of waiting an answer from God knowing He is listening very very carefully and he knows what I feel more clearly than myself. I swapped the word "fight" for "fix" in my head because I'm always trying to fix things alone.
I spent many years in prayer begging God to put someone of good character in my daily life, yet I'm still alone. I left the who entirely in God's hands! I've been alone all my life. Now I've accepted a life alone. I'm nearing 60, and not in good health. I can't last much longer anyway.

This was definitely a message sent straight from God, in my therapy session yesterday we talked about me needing help in the area of my business & that I cannot do it alone. We closed in prayer & this was a confirmation of what steps I need to follow next.

When I see things like that it reminds me of Job's friends. They had no clue what is going on, but they always tried to come up with an explanation. At the end God said that they were all wrong. That is exactly what pastors and churches do today. Doesn't matter how hard you try you will always be wrong. They say you are not praying enough; you pray more, and they say you are not worshipping enough, you worship more, and they say you are not forgiving enough, you forgive and they day you are not giving enough, you give, and they say something else. Then you look at people that are not even Christians and they have the blessing you pray for.

I myself been telling god even this morning it’s 5/20/24. That I am tired praying for I pray so many prayers so many different ways I told I don’t know what else to say are do anymore but I still give god thanks for his loving kindness his grace and mercy I thank him because that’s what we do and when I don’t know what to do I just leave it all to god and thank him .

I’ve had a strong spirit of exhaustion on me heavy for the last two weeks. And the night of the eclipse I slept very hard. Apart from Him I can do no thing 🙏🏾 I really sense we’re entering in a time of divine rest. I can’t build this work without His support and strength.

God has been working with me on my current limp. I've got one of those skeletons in the closet that you can't just throw the door open on. He knows that I've been alone for so long as far as finding that significant other. The hardest part about it was the one person I thought could support and pray for me over it pulled out on me because I let my autism get the better of me by dropping her the wrong kind of comment via E-mail.
The good news is, I'm starting to see it in my family and friends evidence that they're praying that Jeffrey will let go of that problem so he can start thinking about dating.

I am currently struggling daily with my daughter's new found diagnosis & feel alone quite frequently. But I do have my church family to lean on (which I find hard with my situation) and I also have the support of my mother & father. I definitely need to pray about it & lean into these people and trust that God will work it all out.
Thank you so much for this video Kaci! My friend was just telling me the other day as I vented to her, that I need to lean into the people at the church & take all the help provided because they are MORE than happy to help me in my time of need.
So this was just another way God was telling me to do just that, lean into my help & maybe this trial I'm walking through won't be so hard.

I ask for multiple years to help me. No one did. They all guided me to other people and these to others. Without god, I have no one who cares. I know some who care for some moments, but they would never walk with me.
What should these rare people like me do? I ask god, but maybe I am to stupid to understand what he wants from me.
I dont want to do it alone but if no one wants to help then you have no option.

I'm asking for prayers. We're a young couple and we haven't been able to settle with a church or anything yet so I don't really have anyone to ask for prayers other than immediate family and a few friends . Okay but what if you feel alone anyway and as if nobody and nothing in the universe is trying to make things easier for you? I pray to God every day to help me with all my struggles.
Ask the Blessed Mother for help as well as God. Praying the Rosary works miracles with the 15 promises of Mary.
Can I just ask. About 8 months ago I suddenly have this overwhelming desire to be married and I was never interested in getting married but now I do. Is that even biblical. I want to get married, I now pray for the right one but I am really confused. Why does it take so long. I am not idolizing marriage but I pray so much for one and it’s not fair to be alone here. Adam was lonely.
How the heck do you not do it alone. I feel like when I do go to God and pray I don't feel one ounce better after praying. Then after praying about the same thing over and over and nothing changes then prayer starts to feel like it's work and I don't want to do it anymore. So how am I not supposed to do it alone? Please tell me what that really means because praying doesn't make me feel better one bit! Ok and you say we can't just sit back and do nothing. So if we still have to give our full effort into something isn't that basically the same as doing it ourselves anyway???

The walls come tumbling down
My “frenemy” I guess u could call her is getting engaged meanwhile I had to end mine 2 years ago. When will it be my time? I don’t understand.
This is very difficult and painful. The key is to get close to God. The feelings of being left out and passed over, not to mention the unfairness, can churn and churn, leading to bitterness that hurts us. The only thing is to keep that contact with God, to focus on your pathway and happiness, taking every vocational opportunity that comes along, which changes your focus. It is hard if the friend persists in, intentionally or not, making you feel 'less than' but that may be her projection from a place of insecurity.
