Wow, Marty, what a superb presentation. You never "assume" the viewer has the latest software nor is at an expert level of knowledge. Thank you very much.
Marty, if I may, I would like to suggest an effect that I would like to see you tackle next i.e. a bromoil effect . I find such images to be very powerful and I can't imagine anyone pulling it off other than yourself.
Thank you MG! This is a wonderful tutorial (no surprise there) and so too is the end result!
OMG finally I got what I need bless you !!! hope you have great life and wonderful day thank you very much!!!! BIG LOVE !!!

Nice marty
Love ur channel caricature image. ;-D
I'm curious - how can an effect like this be saved for future projects so that just the subject can be changed and the same effect will be applied with one step?
You can create an "Action" that will record your steps up to 7:33, which is right after you add a layer mask for the brushes. I explained the steps to create an action in another tutorial. ruclips.net/video/2WDRZ0IRF54/видео.html
I have tried it with two different videos (thinking that I was missing something). I can't get the pattern overlay to appear at all. There is probably a box marked that I am not seeing, but unsure what to do at this point.
big like
Sorry Marty I Cant Be Patreon,Cause I Dont Have Money... But I Always Share Your Creation In Another Media Social
❤❤❤
why is it that every time I have finished and pressed ok the object there is always a white mark?
Sir can we do this in photoshop cs6 version???
Yes.
is it your real voice ?
Yep.
Hi Marty, if this,i,age was being printed onto canvas would the canvas pattern be necessary? Thanks
The canvas pattern would would not be necessary if it were printed on textured, watercolor paper.
I'm curious. Why do you always work with ultra low resolution? In this particular tutorial, everything was looking "potentially" well until you got to the part about adding "Find Edges". From that point on, everything went straight downhill. btw - the brushes you recommended at not true water color brushes. True water color brushes should be interactive (as I obtained from Dave Nagel years ago) - not mere "stamp" brushes.

Marty,
I am so confused after attempting the same step over and over. I have 2021 ps and I can't edit a smart object. Every time I attempt
to edit, I get a message to rasterize first. I know I have to with ps6, but you have not mentioned having to rasterize anywhere. Do you have written steps you could share with this technique? This would be nice. Please help
Linda
ps: I am going to join because I honestly believe you can teach me more than I had hoped for.
Make sure you have the correct image mode. Go to Image - Mode - RGB color, 8 bits/Channel.
This is fabulous, Marty!
i wonder ? why i can not open filter gallery ??
Go to Image > Mode > RGB color, 8 bits/Channel
@@BLTV_Photoshop thank you sir.
