Actually u can still make steel. On our cross play server there r multiple unlocked industrial forges. So we can make it and then make out own forge to make more. Its half broken
Yes luckily community run servers have put things in place to make it workable 😀 we were so pleased about that after being so confused and disappointed in official. Apparently on steam everything works fine too 😯 even on official!
The reason why primitive plus is popular, is due to the lack of toxicity as no one will believe me but there is a disturbing amount of folks who become alpha and strut it with a superiority complex. In primitive plus, there is no tech but primitive plus has potential but severely lacking due to the lack of certain aspects in the base game, ok for one, the mod locks you out of certain maps, sure you cna play the maps but good luck completing it, second, no tek, no metal structures. But the biggest issue is despite the lack of fabricators, there is nothing to make up for it, such as there are no additional armor, no additional bows or weapons, there is hte long bow but we still lose a lot. I played other games where you cna add variation in melee weapons and unfortunately, I would pursue being a modder but that is a grind by itself and there is a chance wild card would sue me.
There are replacement crafting tables for fab....construction table. Advanced workbench, the sharpening wheel thing, alchemy table, handmill etc....there are additional bows as well, the recurve and the longbow
I set one up for my cluster after checking out Mango Nation. It's a hit, and immediately became my most popular map. Thanks for the tips and other game play videos!
It's awesome that there are some brilliant community servers! We're on a great one on Xbox. What platform are you on? Lots of people on PlayStation looking for a good server but I haven't seen anyone advertise any.
Played a Skyrim themed one for a while and that was lit. There were a couple trolls on there but they did things in character for he most part so it added to drama a bit. They even turned the very aesthetic base I built into a neutral protected zone just cuz they liked how it looked. Really miss those guys NGL. It was my first time playing with people I didn't know.

Have you ever had a raft drive backwards? Mine did, so I logged out and coming back in to see if it fixed it I heard an explosion, Suddenly I was dead and waking up in the nearest bed. went to the where the boat was to find it was gone (and the Rhino I was transporting) no death beam, like we were never there.
Prim+ WAS amazing.. I played Ark on Xbox, both Prim+ & Survival Evolved.. I just wish Wildcard would sit on their collective asses & get the game FIXED!! I miss Prim+ SOOO much...😔

Things missed: Stego's. I mean, just look at how they move. Can't make beer. Kinda necessary for certain taming. I never had a problem with steel, maybe that's a more recent thing since I last played. Can't make harpoons, despite the option to learn them (annoying because, penguins are useful as hell on Prim+)
Haha, I never noticed the stegos 🙈 the beer thing was annoying, there is the really complicated beer but does that even work on chalis?!! We never tried. Yes I think they broke steel with an update then just never fixed it 🙄 would have loved harpoons in this mode too!! Bit weird how we can't make them!
I dont remember ever running into any of these issues. it was just way too rindy to build stuff because no matter your rates you couldnt ever craft any faster. dont know if thats changed with crafting speed.
Hi I need help if anyone can! I can’t seem to figure out how to un install primitive plus. It breaks my game in a never ending loading screen and I can find how to uninstall it
If I remember correctly you just change the game mode on the main menu (I think it's on the bottom right of the screen) you cannot uninstall it as it's installed as part of the main game.
You should give this server a try, the rates and drops are so well balanced! Lol, a series would be fun but.... It's valguero again 🤣🙈 we always end up on Valguero yeh 😂

I used to love Prim+ is was so much more fun then regular Ark and when it broke and people stopped playing it and the servers would have like 1 or 3 players online at a time I just went from server to server killing every tame I could find. And then it died out.. The thing with Carbon not being able to be put into the refining forge I had no problems with that. Something I really liked about Prim+ was all the different food recipies. I would make alot of Rice&Chicken so I would have like 10-20 Rice cropplots and just kill some dodo to get the poultery.. Rice&Chicken +125 food over time...
Steel being bugged the advanced table the bugged glass and others i cant remeber off the top of my head its fucking annoying how they just said fuck ait and droped the mode completely it makes me sad cause i love the mode
We're playing on Mango nation prim plus, they have a work around for the bugs and an open indi forge to get started. You should come try it. We're having loads of fun on there!

On pvp come check out mystic if your on Xbox very high pop and the starter sorts out all the things that can’t be gotten and what not, it’s roleplay tho so not just flat out pvp

same, trying to set up a basic RP server for PC called Kingdoms of Nieter. im currently researching the least intrusive work arounds Edit: changed the crafting recipe for the industrial forge to be unlocked at level 40 instead of 90 for 12 engrams instead of 90 and buildable through only metal at a quantity of 2000 compared to 1200 steel and 800 metal going through now and making sure the whole production is possible and changing glass recipes to crystal
I used to play primitive + years ago and it worked just fine. Fast forward to now and dinos won’t even spawn in for me. I tried different maps and that didn’t fix anything. Wtf is going on? Btw I have been trying to play on single player.
I think an update broke stuff and they just didn't bother fixing it 😔 pretty much abandoned it on console. They're still updating it on steam but not for us. Such a damn shame!

As of now it has been nowhere near worth the $60 I payed. Once they removed the in-game option to improve the graphics on the base PS4, it was like playing with vanilla Minecraft graphics.
For us the hours we've put into ark and the fun weve had on it, it has been worth every penny tbh. Even when we played it on xbox one where it ran real bad on official servers we made some amazing memories and met some amazing people.
Official prim plus dead but the RP Community on prim plus is still up and thriving, just sucks the fact that there are people who have the classic basement God Complex and would rather pvp The RP Community then take on actual decent pvpers on non prim plus servers
Prim plus has been fixed on official servers!! You can craft glass no problem. You can now make hazard suites and get drake eggs!! I’ve been playing P+ official pvp for the last week. I highly recommend There are still a few minor bugs and glitches though.

You are incorrect or the games been fixed but to make steel you need to be lvl 90 it sucks but it's life also glass structure is just lumber and stone on official now
Yeh if your on console playing official servers there is noway to make advanced workbench which you need to make most of the prim plus stuff. I would advise to play an unofficial server that has fixes in place. Mango Nation is a great one.
if you love crafting try conan exiles , tons and tons of crafting and mats , and the building system is so much better then ark , and even farming plants and tons of cooking recipes etc
I've tried conan a couple times, never completed it but the crafting is awesome on there! I really like the building structures too! Really like the fact it has npcs too!

Yeah, they could make a great game by just focusing on reworking prim. My son and I play on an unofficial Xbox server. The admin setup a community center so we were able to get passed most of the issues.
2 Years ago i am absolutley sure i was able to craft certain things....and now its just broken and WC does not bother? wow....is the basic game working at least? Im playing on an official online server........and cannot build an advanced workbench. Super weird. I mean : If they dont care, why keeping those servers up?
I had that problem on official too. That's why I went to mango nation, there are others who have commented here that also have prim servers where they have fixed it so you can progress. It really is such a Sshame that wildcard haven't addressed the issues, I don't know why they haven't, there seems to be a lot of people wanting to play it!
Y’all can join a server I can’t join any it say’s switch to the ark survival evolved total conversion via the main menu and rejoin the session yet I already did it’s a shame because I loved the prim plus mode

On the main screen I went to 'primitive plus official' then once it had changed to prim, I wrote prim in the server search bar and it Brought up the available servers (if you don't type prim in there it brings up all the regular servers which aren't prim+, so choosing one of those gives conversion mismatch msg) hope this helps!

We were the same uno then we tried unofficial prim that had been modded slightly to help get around the bugs but we're on xbox, I'm not sure what kind of unofficial servers are on PlayStation, might be worth Having a look tho?

The only good and fair mode in ark to where you dont need cheats in order to advance
Did they fix the animals in console? They are coming with so many things but literally won’t fix the main problems.
You mean the creature spawns? I'm not sure. We went an unofficial server in the end where they had a work around for all the issues.

Btw, I asked one of my tribe members to have the admin spawn glass but she couldn't do so. So she just spawned the head pieces to get around that.

You are incorrect or the games been fixed but to make steel you need to be lvl 90 it sucks but it's life also glass structure is just lumber and stone on official now

Yeh if your on console playing official servers there is noway to make advanced workbench which you need to make most of the prim plus stuff. I would advise to play an unofficial server that has fixes in place. Mango Nation is a great one.
I played Prim officals a few years back. I loved it. But the server died off 😒

if you love crafting try conan exiles , tons and tons of crafting and mats , and the building system is so much better then ark , and even farming plants and tons of cooking recipes etc
I've tried conan a couple times, never completed it but the crafting is awesome on there! I really like the building structures too! Really like the fact it has npcs too!
@@GameChanger_Games latest update just brought in sorcery and daily challenges that unlock new content , the server i play on is pve and its called Elpis and Elpis siptah , boosted servers

I dont have fjordur in primitive plus which i would of enjoyed playing so i only have it on the normal mode also due to the other remaining bugs

Ok - it seems I have a different Primitive + then - I can produce glass and steel ingots without any problem - so where is the bug?

@@GameChanger_Games Yes, I am. Running Primitive plus in Singleplayer and also on Nitrado with "The Center" map with some friends, and never had that problem.

I love prim plus. But it really needs a rework.
Yeah, they could make a great game by just focusing on reworking prim. My son and I play on an unofficial Xbox server. The admin setup a community center so we were able to get passed most of the issues.
2 Years ago i am absolutley sure i was able to craft certain things....and now its just broken and WC does not bother? wow....is the basic game working at least? Im playing on an official online server........and cannot build an advanced workbench. Super weird. I mean : If they dont care, why keeping those servers up?
I had that problem on official too. That's why I went to mango nation, there are others who have commented here that also have prim servers where they have fixed it so you can progress. It really is such a Sshame that wildcard haven't addressed the issues, I don't know why they haven't, there seems to be a lot of people wanting to play it!
Y’all can join a server I can’t join any it say’s switch to the ark survival evolved total conversion via the main menu and rejoin the session yet I already did it’s a shame because I loved the prim plus mode

@@thegamerhi1801 @ryanberki195 I just tried and was able to join prim servers. On the main screen I went to 'primitive plus official' then once it had changed to prim, I wrote prim in the server search bar and it Brought up the available servers (if you don't type prim in there it brings up all the regular servers which aren't prim+, so choosing one of those gives conversion mismatch msg) hope this helps!

Have they fixed the official servers? I haven't seen anything on twitter and we been playing unofficial since we made this video because official p+ was way too broken. Be amazing if they gave it some tlc!

Dam I was gonna say, we are on an xbox/windows servers which has put fixes in place for the broken stuff. Have you tried any unofficials on PlayStation?
Valguero and Ragnarok are the only maps that spawn in dinos from what I heard. I tried prim+ on val and they do spawn

@@GameChanger_Games im on the ps5 and i got bored with normal pve got like 5 milioen dinos everything tek. I just wanted to go a bit old school but i gues primitive is not it.
We were the same uno then we tried unofficial prim that had been modded slightly to help get around the bugs but we're on xbox, I'm not sure what kind of unofficial servers are on PlayStation, might be worth Having a look tho?

@@GameChanger_Games me and my sister tried playing the island together and it felt like a horror game, it was a private server, me and her, and the sounds of the birds chirping and the water flowing, but we then tried valguero and it worked just fine
We started prim and played 2 years I think. Oh the hours lol
We played over a year when we discovered how the green ob works lol. It was like we invented fire for the first time. Let me say, ab on prim is harder than anything I've done in this game, so scary
