I’m surprised you didn’t go Charlatan for False Identity. It’s all about putting on a “mask” to hide one’s true identity, so why not? Granted, it’s more personal and less to the benefit of the whole team, but one can easily spin it so the charlatan works for a noble cause. Also, I left a comment in response to someone else that made me think of starting off in another class to focus more on spells and to replace the Rogue’s Sneak Attack while buffing other skills. Replace the four levels of Rogue with three levels of Bard and one more level of Warlock. Yes, you start off with one less skill (I’d skip out on Acrobatics, personally), and Expertise is delayed. In return, though, you get to cap Mystic Arcanum (I'd go with Foresight), you get more lower-level spells, and you get Jack of All Trades to help with skills that you lack proficiency in. If you really want that Acrobatics skill and Sneak Attack, you can take one level of Rogue instead of capping Mystic Arcanum. This will also give you Expertise in two more skills, and we all know Rogues love those skills. No matter which of these two combinations you take, you’ll end up missing out on an ASI, but since you get more spells, and CHA is your main stat, this shouldn’t matter too much. P. S. My vote’s for Sherlock. EDIT: I originally wrote this with College of Whispers in mind. The level 3 features do work in flavor, as I mentioned in another comment thread, but I’ve done more thinking after writing this, and I thought of something else that might work. If you want to focus more on skills, go with College of Lore; Joker's supposed to be crazy-good at everything, so why not? One of the level 3 features gives you proficiency in 3 more skills. You get Acrobatics back this way as well as two more skills. I recommend Arcana (as it fits the flavor of Persona as a whole) and Intimidation (sometimes you just have to strong-arm those miscellaneous Shadows into joining you). Cutting Words is also good as it has a good chance of making enemy attacks miss. Just imagine that Joker is shoving allies out of the way to block enemy attacks. As previously mentioned, you can still take a level of Rogue to get another skill proficiency (I’d go for Perception in this case) and Expertise in two more skills. No doubt that Sneak Attack is tempting to pump up the crossbow damage, but multiclassing bard helps with spells (even if they are low-level), so you might not even care about that. It should be mentioned that proficiency bonus takes character level into account, not class level, so your skill bonuses and Expertise bonuses will be insane. Even without taking a level in Rogue, you’ll have proficiency in half of the skills in the game, and Jack of All Trades will add half of your proficiency bonus to the rest. Let’s not forget Expertise in two skills (for others reading, Tulok said to go with Stealth and Insight, and I see no reason to deviate) and two more if you do decide to take that one level in Rogue (I’d recommend Deception and Persuasion).
Loving these builds! Amazing how 5e contains the blueprints for so many favorite characters without any additional tweaking, except for flavor's sake. For next time, I'd love to see Tarzan. My initial thoughts about Joker would make him a Thief Rogue with a side of Warlock, maybe Hexblade or Fiend. I’m actually really keen on wanting to play your Joker though. Archfey doesn’t seem accurate to me at first, but it kinda does work out when you look into the lore. Igor, the Velvet Room attendants, that butterfly thing- all kinda have fey-like traits. @Spectre Dan joker gets his power from the velvet room which only exist between mind and matter and dreams and reality and the owner of the velvet room name is philemon who is very much like a archfey "I am Philemon, a dweller in the rift between consciousness and unconsciousness of all souls... I know he's probably not the most well known character, but I think a build for Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza series would be pretty solid. And I know you don't hold the Tavern Brawler feat in high regard as mentioned in your Ganondorf video, but it would be VERY fitting for Kiryu since he pretty much picks up the street around him during fights. Perhaps it could be his varient human feat to start? There's even a good opportunity for a pun title, "Monk Goes On", referencing the OST piece Funk Goes On.
Devil's sight isn't actually darkvision, it doesn't let you see better in dim light but only in darkness. I didn't actually notice that until more recently

Yu would probably be a Samurai subclass and a Sorcerer.
Sorcery points=SP
Oh also atleast one attendent for that one broken game you do when your usual DM is sick and can't come but everyone else showed up so you have a joke one shot
Makoto i would do warlock too but definitely do echo fighter for makoto and reflavor the echo to orpheus or yoshitune or matador or something
also Yu is a good boy so honestly it make more sense for him to be a paladin but i understand where you come from
I’m still waiting for the Fire emblem Robin build
Probably a standard Lore Bard, grabbing a few offensive Ranger/ Pally spells and Wiz/Warlock ones to emulate Levin Sword/ Tomes.
