    John Brzenk is an absolute living legend. Sure he's lost matches, but the man has cemented his status dominating the sport for over 40 years often beating guys who are much bigger than he was during his prime. Sure there are other arm wrestlers who are more popular/well known or better ambassadors for the sport. Longevity, accomplishments, status & universally respected is what defines John’s legacy as the GOAT. Even now at age nearing 58 soon he is still a beast for his weight class. He is indeed the perfect storm ⛈ 💪 🔥 🐐

They are also proving that this idea the sport has "evolved" past them, or that John got his glory in the days when the field was weaker or whatever is bullsh*^. John still beating prime guys in his class at age 58 is proof that his way works, and he would have been dominant in any era.

    First pin was absolute idiocy; should've been a redo. Second pin, Zurab stopped pressure before the refs called it. Seems like that shouldn't count, even though technically it was a pin.

    • @LeahRobb
      @LeahRobb 2 года назад

      What do you mean about 2nd pin? John takes two shots at pinning and Zurab is pressuring the whole time. He just can't withhold the storm - the perfect storm :D

    • @americanpatriot6938

      @@LeahRobb Notice after 8:11 when he gets the pin, he stops before the refs call it. That's what I mean. Notice how when John gets his pins, he holds it until the refs call it. Typically in a professional fight, you don't stop until the ref stops it.

    Incredible performance by Zurab. That was so close and could’ve gone his way. Awesome 2 pins he got on John and he is super strong with some of the best arms in the game 💪🏻💪🏻😎 He looks to be just getting better an better and those 2 pins are something to be super proud of as well as when his final press was stopped, pushed back, but he still came back to push John’s hand back again, before losing that last round. Awesome match. John being able to compete at this age on close to the same level as he used to is unbelievable. Like other worldly. I always root for my favs but if they lose to John I always smile. There’s no shame in losing to that guy, because he’s been the best for the longest of anyone ever in the sport. Props and again, great match 👏🏻
