Hi everyone.
Recently faced a problem with my c49hg90 when turning it on or waking up from a sleep mode. In the beginning, it was enough just to turn it off and back on. But lately even taking it from the electric outlet could barely fix the problem. As the temporary workaround, I made it work without sleep, just by turning on a screensaver when the computer was idle. But obviously, it was not supposed to fix the root cause. Checking forums, I have found more people with this issue and the possible fix. They recommended performing the upgrade of the firmware (added as a link below) for those who are unable to return it back to the store.
For the people like me, who did the upgrade and still have this problem I have found a possible way to manage the situation.

Leave the monitor on 120 hz. I keep mine at that refresh rate and it always works
That's a workaround, not a fix :( still have to do it every single time after long period of inactivity.
same is happening to me on ls27f350, but now I have to wait almost 15 min, letting warm up the components as you said. I bought this one in Peru
change your frecuency to 120 hz in your minitor y wala it fixed
i have the same problem with mine, thx
That worked for me
Glad to hear. Just don't turn it off and it will be fine for years
What button ur preshing
i can solve this problem if you down refresht rate, if you have 144mhz you can use 120mhz and solve, wait 20 min and come back 144,hz witouth problems.
I'm using the same technique every day when I start to work,
but what is causing this issue? you manage to find it?
I heard that is something related to the transformer contacts.... who knows???
I just made it work 24/7 and never turned it off. Just waiting when it breaks for good :) I think it is a hibernation module that has a problem. When I'm leaving for a couple of days, I usually physically turn it off (from a wall outlet), and it is a high chance that it will work fine afterward. But once it goes into sleep mode it is almost never waking up normally, even when was asleep for just an hour or two.
Mine just started doing this out of warranty. Will tolerate it until i cant tolerate it anymore
Trying to keep it awake (windows settings to never sleep) but it goes to sleep anyway. I guess it is fucked up. Got it on Feb. 2021will try the warranty.
I just keep turning off when it went to sleep and turning on again and the Damm thing just worked. Thanks man for making this video!
Had mine for a few months woke up yesterday to the monitor doing the exact same thing. I thought somebody threw something at the screen 🤣🛏️😂
It happened to me the fix for me was a new hdmi cable
Internal e;ectroni components are failing. You can replace them yourself.
Do you know which component? And how to replace it ?
