Decided when I moved to Tennessee I wasn't going to work off the floor anymore, bought a lift and had the garage built to accommodate it. Now I've been able to do my own work and assist my neighbors on their vehicles. Great video and it doesn't matter how long the it is just enjoy it. One can always watch it half way through pause and then finish it, make believe it's two videos. Stan from Thorn Hill tn.

My neighbor was 73 when he taught 17 year old me how to do brakes. I’m 57 now. He was 80 when he put a new roof on his house himself. He was 92 when he passed and was in good shape until about the last 2 years of his life. I owe him a huge debt of gratitude for all he taught me, both about mechanics and life. St Lank, pray for us.

You are a patient man Kenny. This is the most bizzare tranny engine removal I have ever witnessed. I have removed engines, AOD's and 5 speeds from my various Mustangs using jackstands, an ehgine hoist and a floor jack and never have I encountered the difficulties you faced faced with this crappy design. Of course I was younger then, I'm too old now to crawl under my current ride, a 5.0 LX. I just drive and enjoy these days. Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing.

That clutch probably is used so the pressure is applied to the rim, so the most friction plate area is directly acted on by it, allowing the moving mass to be lighter, and thus more responsive.

I am 79 and just had my back bolted together, but everything seems OK but my Toyota Coaster Diesel died last year , managed to get a Turbo motor from a Dyna truck, import to Australia, good friend helped me, there was just a little more room to work than in that Camaro. But now I face blow-by issues, have built an oil catcher with electric pump returning oil to motor, that worked for a while but now it has got to the point I have to open her up to see what can be done. Engine starts and runs beautifully. Ted from down under

Vacuum cleaner I took one of the nozzles and cut it down, then used epoxy to attach a piece of thick walled PVC hose to it, so you have a flexible and bendable nozzle to reach into tight places. Diameter inside a little bigger than the width of the nozzle, and it was around 30cm 1 foot long, so it reached into tight places. Was great for removing all sorts of gunk, and was a good nozzle. Washed it, and the hose, with engine degreaser after using to remove blobs of grease and such, so the hose would not be sticky, though you can buy the hose in 30 foot bulk packs, so if it needs replacing easy to fut a new length off the roll and toss the old one away.

This comment me get a little long. You made a comment saying that a lot of people want to see you go through every little bolt nut screw whatever. I'm a hobbyist mechanic. I just want a general reference on how to remove or replace the part reverse order to reinstall. I know it would be a lot of work on your end of it to edit, but can you please put out two versions of the video one short for people who can understand what you're doing and one long one for everybody has to see every bolt nut and screw being removed. I was still probably watch you. Best to you and your family good luck in the future.
