Praying for Meg's recovery. I think your videos have been great and very informative. Don't be so hard on yourself! You are doing what needs to be done and putting your family first. That is the way it should be. My wife and I kid each other saying that going to each others doctor's appointments and spending time sitting with each other while we both have been in the hospital is our quality time together.

Kenny, my wife had brain surgery about 10yrs ago and started getting seizures and then they put her on meds for them. But it didn't work and they changed the meds several times but to no change they were getting worse and more frequent. So about over a year and a half nothing was working . So I sat back and figured when did these symptoms started to happen so I talked with the wife let's stop the seizure medication and see what happens it can't get worse. Her seizures slowly got less frequent and now 8 years later she has no more seizures. It was the seizure medication that was giving her seizures and the doctors said that don't happen. But we did what we had to do and I'm happy that we done our own research! I pray for you both !!!!!!

Hi brother Kenny, UNC at Chapel Hill is first class and being a teaching hospital, Meg will receive the extra care and tests that she needs to get to the bottom of the cause of the hemiplegic migraines and resolve them to the extent possible. Your first responsibility is Meg followed by your own needs of course. I'm glad that Abby is there to help also. In the meantime, you know that both you and Meg and your entire family are in my prayers. I'm inspired to convince you that there is a God and He is not dead. He'll listen to your prayers too even if you don't think so. Talk with Him as you would anybody else. He'll listen. He wants to help you and Meg. Take good care my brother. Destroyed her upper arm from her elbow. So I'm praying for you all. Just stay strong. It's hard to do that I I'm good at saying it, but not it doing it, but I love you man. I love you shows. My wife is an epileptic so I totally understand about the seizures. With all the medications we wind up on as we get older it surprises me this doesn't happen more often (and it probably actually does but nobody sits down and figures it out like you did!). You just take care of your wife (and you because it has to be stressful). We will all be here for you. 🙏🙏

I would never swipe off a video about your wife's update. I was concerned hearing about it the first time and watched all the way through. I was hoping the doctors would figure it out. I have friends that are dealing with long covid. It seems to really affect women a lot more with specific issues. Had a friend go through severe depression, CVS, smell and taste shift, migraines, aches and pains, and IBS. She had it back in 2022 and still having major issues from it. I keep you and your wife in my prayers. You have taught me a lot through your video's and want to thank you for that. Driving a passion in my heart for working on cars.

Prayers for you, I'm going through long covid right now. You're totally right about questioning meds. I'm really focused on ensuring I'm taking a full range of vitamin supplements too, had to stop some of the initial meds.

Grand mal seizure is no joke. My friend had one while cutting a tree down. He was tied off up in the tree with the chain saw running. Scary situation.

When my boy was preschool age he had a seizure sitting in his car seat while going through the drive thru at Wendy's. I knew he was having trouble but didn't know it was a seizure. I thought he was choking. I pulled into a parking spot, got him out, and laid him on the grass. I had never dealt with anything like this previously. It's incredible how the knowledge is built into us on how to handle things like this. Without thinking I started working the problem. I checked his airway to make sure it was clear and made sure he was breathing. Then I called 911. I knew where I was but I was struggling to come up with the right words to explain my location. The dispatcher proceeded to tell me where I was. Lucky we were 1/4 mile from the fire barn. They were on scene almost before I ended the call. They took him to a nearby children's hospital. He came out of it fine. No family history of seizures. He's 12 now and hasn't had one since. It's amazing that we are built with the necessary abilities to handle these situations. I still look back on it and think about how unbelievable it was.

Im a Kenny,and my wife has long covid too. She got it just before the 1st vaccine came out. Still has lung issues.. will probly have it the rest of her life. Hearing your wifes story makes us feel fortunate in a way. Shes lucky to have you. Bless you,and your wife. Best wishes!!

Someone in my family has long covid. They got it in Dec. 2020 before the shots were available. Still dealing with respiratory issues today. The struggle is real. Prayers for Meg and your family to improve.

Kenny, as others have written, family first. That also includes you! Overwhelming stress takes a toll as you must know since Meg became ill. Please do not concern yourself with making videos, as you have enough to deal with. Remember to take care of the caregiver first! At least let your daughters help you where they can. Don't try to go it alone. Apparantly, she has a good physician who is actively engaged in Megs road to recovery. Thank God for your efforts as many do not have someone like you to help. Please do take care of your self and know that your viewers are praying for Meg as well as you and your extended family during a trying time. Thank you for sharing such a personal event. Others may be in the same situation and can find comfort in your sharing. God Bless you all 🙏🏻

glad i watched the video , it was also the best for you to talk about it and get it off your chest. She needs you now more than ever. Keep being as detail oriented to her as you are with everything else you do and your persistence will force the doctors to diagnose the true problem and come up with the solution to finally fix it. Doctors are exactly like you, they are only mechanics, and there are good ones and great one. I trust you will find him or her soon

Prayers for Meg. Long covid is no joke. I guy I know has it & he’s really bad. For me, it did something with my smell. I can only smell certain things well & other things I can’t. It’s weird. Thanks for the update Kenny, I know this is very difficult.
I had covid twice and now I dont like hamburgers at all. I have no interest in most beef products. They dont smell good to me.
I wish you and Mrs. Wrenching well my friend. I can sympathize in that my father had cancer and we had a long, uphill battle with that too. Now, I say this with the knowledge that one's gut feeling isn't always right, and the doctors aren't always right. But, I did find it frustrating when I would tell them that something was off about the way that my father was behaving in the early stages before we knew exactly what it was. It seemed like we were getting brushed off for the normal round of tests. I'm not saying that the doctors should've listened to us over their experience, but none of them even noted it when we said it.

I’m so glad that they are figuring out what is going on with her. I have high blood pressure and my doctor put me on a medication that made my heart pound during the day when I was at work. I told him about what was happening to me and that was a side effects. So I can relate to her. He took me off the medication and changed it to something different and I feel better now. I’m a Chevy technician so hang in there Kenny!
WOW!! That is a lot to deal with Kenny. Yup, like was said, it's called "practicing" medicine. My brother was afflicted with Tardive Dyskinesia after a psychiatrist prescribed a drug that interacted with one of his other meds. It should have NEVER gotten by the pharmacist, yet it did. Grand mal seizure is no joke, you're right. My former wife had one, if there was anything good about that, I'd seen her sister have one and been told what to do in case. It scared the hell out of me anyway but if I didn't know what to do, or didn't know what it was I can't imagine between me and the poor kids. Our kids were real young, it's so hard to watch, deal with, see. I wish you both the best. that is all incredibly tough to go through, I've seen from family and close friends a lot more medical stuff than most people and I don't wish anyone see that much, not just experience it, I don't wish it on anyone to even see some of the stuff I've seen.
