Great video. Thanks for the info on the protection pad for the 150. I've had to replace my pad several times over the many years I've owned the 150. Just did a search across EU sites and international festool website. Looks like they don't have it anywhere any more. I'm going to have to hord the little I've got.😁 I know it was used alot for the autobody industry if memory serves me...
I had similar issues with the paper for my 150 (not being able to purchase it anymore). My buddy works for 3M. He got me set up with Cubitron II, I'll never go back to festool paper again.
Thanks for the lesson , im about to purchase the 150/3 could you please tell me your recommendations for grits to purchase starting from 60g as festool have so many and im sure i dont need all of them.
Thank you for this video . I just purchased this sander, and I will try and source the pad and paper you talked about
Right on - glad I could help!!
Great video. It nice to hear that you found a new paper that meets your needs.

No links?? I’m interested in that sia sandpaper
I was able to get some off of amazon...but my best source was a local paint supply shop in my city. Are you in Canada, the US?
Have you tried Abranet?
I have...I like it on flat pieces...seems to tear on corners
