Building a SEATSMITH chair from Wood Cache
I wanted to do a video on this Pre-fab chair made by SEATSMITH from Wood Cache. When building a dining table set, the chairs are the most difficult, time consuming and tool intensive part of the build. The chair building takes a specific skill set. This is a very interesting option for a person to take part in the building of a chair but doesn't have the time or tools. This is also a great to learn how to build a chairs. Seeing all the parts and how they go together can be very instructive.

Thank you for this. I want to put a butterfly into a piece of walnut I have and have never done it before. I have some scrap that I am using just to see if I can make it work and well things just were not working. I had the right idea but my math apparently didn't work. Lots of smoke coming out of my ears and I was afraid that I was going to ignite the sawdust in my garage so went and watched a youtube instead. Sure glade this one showed up, great explanation. Will head to the store and buy a new 1/8" bit tomorrow and give it a try.

Good morning 🌅, That was very nice info, I have the same 3 M Versaflo , I have had mine for a round 10 + years, there is a wire mesh and foam filter that will help as well, you forgot to mention that there is one big down side to this 😮 😂, if you Fart / brake Wind 😮 😂 you will inhale the gas, 😂, I would quite often put it on as soon as I start working, it would only come off when I left my workshop, I had the complete kit, well worth the money, stay safe, retired English dude living in France,

Nice technique you could use a surform round in shape fasten a custom wood handle to it and it will shape it perfectly . You could also take a1/4 dowel rod with a gasoline hose over it to act as a form . Use adhesive back paper.

I love everything about this but I feel like you overthought the wood movement issue. The legs are approximately the same size as the top and of the same wood species, so theoretically they should expand and contract the same. I do love the hidden bolts with plugs over, it makes for a really secure attachment point with the look of rustic traditional pegged joinery. Wonderful stool!

I'm searching for the best product for woodturning. I think this air pressure method in active masks work better than the others since they are using a completely new design approach. The air goes outside from inside the mask, so it's basically impossible you get ANY dust or particles whatever it's size in microns. Am I right?

Thanks for your help! I couldn’t find a template small enough for my project. I knew I could make one but the concept of using 4 separate pieces made it SO much easier than accurately cutting out out of a single piece of plywood. 👍
