When we get the opportunity to be spoiled and enjoy a special drink Im going to take advantage and enjoy every second. Amex Platinum card. You should get one... it offers access to launges, priority boarding... not to mention the points, 5x on airfare and hotels. Great for travellers.😉
We've thought about getting travelers cards but they all cost money, not sure which one yet.
Ja, you have to look at the advantages and disadvantages. I have a couple of travel cards, one is AMEX, but not the Platinum. 550$ is too much for me. But if you go with one with a lower fee, it is worth it for the points. The catch is to pay them off every month which is not always possible. So, choose wisely and be careful, but I can recommend it.

If you liked the lounge in Seattle, just wait until you take Priority Pass overseas. The international lounges are much nicer! Especially in Southeast Asia. Have fun!

Seatac airport is great and all but I always get so frustrated that the kiosk area is so crowded so I generally book my flights early in the morning or late at night to be alone lol :D hope you enjoyed the lounge while it lasted!
It wasn't too busy overall for us this trip. But we don't fly out of here often so I don't know how it normally is.

Wish you an awesome start of another awesome travel year ! How do you guys feel now to travel within your own country after the experiences you have had so far? Other than the obvious factors like language or visa formalities, what else do you take comfort in ?
Its for sure different. So far I have been really impressed with the hospitality in the U.S. I love that we can chat with people and hear their stories. I also love that we can see what makes our home country unique and beautiful. I am for sure becoming more appreciative of the diversity the U.S. has to offer. I just wish it was cheaper to travel. Why in other places can you get around for much much less then you can here? Thats the most annoying part. -Ash
I totally get your feeling about appreciating the small things in your home country from another level when you have been Traveling/living outside for long. And the small talk culture / having chats with strangers is something that hear a lot from people that travel to the US and i have always doubted them. But now am very curious to get a chance to experience it myself :) maybe one day !
Estes Park is indeed in the Rockies National Park 😁 for the lounge, did you have to pay extra, in Europe a lot of lounges charge an entrance fee if you don't have business or first 😫
We didn't have to pay extra because we have a priority pass but if we didn't have the pass it would have cost extra to stay in there. -Ash

The seats were a bit tight but I wasn't bumping my knees and the flight was short enough so not too bad.

Hey guys, please have the courtesy to not chat during the safety demo. If you don't care enough to listen to it, please out of respect for fellow passengers who actually might want to know how to get out in an emergency, just don't talk and at least pretend you're watching. Retired flight attendant here.....nothing more frustrating than to be up there trying to give you guys info on important safety procedures, and you talk through the demo. Not cool.
