A typical day in our life between constant trips around the world

- We’ve been at our Denver home for two and half weeks and in 24 hours, the bulk of us are flying to Florence, Italy to start a 17-day tour through Europe. We’ve been documenting our travels on this channel for a couple of years but lately some of you have been asking us for an episode that covers our life in between adventures. So here it is. And after planning the outline, we can say that we think this is gonna be a surprisingly interesting look behind the curtain-not just at our daily life when we’re in Denver, but also into our typical preparations for heading out on another trip. We’ll be answering questions like:
- How does Phil get a killer workout at home without a proper gym?
- How and where do you all work and school when you’re home?
- What does the inside of your safe look like?
- How and what do you pack for longer trips?
- How do you keep Colt’s geckos alive when you’re gone for weeks at a time?
- What’s the Denver airport check-in experience like for 1k fliers?
- And lastly: how can people get behind-the-scenes content like this all the time?

We’re the Lockwoods. And we’re traveling the world to experience-up close and in person-all the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. What really impresses me about this video, is two things: the level of which you let us in to your lives, and the daily structure Phil and Erin manage to create a stable family life including maintaining a clean organized home, optimum health... managing the family, and all that while travelling the world and looking great. Thank you. We appreciate that! It’s always all about the balance. We’re very lucky that we both enjoy being very organized and punctual. If one of us didn’t, it might be more stressful. But it makes it easy that we’re on the same page with almost everything.
I may be a little late to your travel party, but I've been binge watching your RUclips videos since yesterday. I really enjoyed this vlog behind the seen. Its very interesting to see what goes on before getting ready for a trip. I love your exercise routine every morning as it keeps you fit. I also work out at a gym and I really enjoy it. Its always good to exercise. Because you are always on the go, home school is the best for your kids. I have used supplements before. Your place looks amazing and both of your kids have different interests. What I enjoyed most about this vlog is how much goes into preparing for a trip.

Yes. I (Erin) love making lists but Phil always plans out his tasks in his calendar. Each helps us stay on track! :)
Rent a big Mercedes or BMW and drive the Autobahn in Germany. Nice and Monaco have good Views. Milan is near some ski areas and not far from Germany.

Thanks for the question. Don’t pay attention to that other answer. Phil owns a marketing agency that he runs remotely. So he’s able to work while we travel. I (Erin) am working on editing and trip planning full time. We’d love to keep growing and be at a place where RUclips really is generating enough income to support our travels.
