If I was still a kid, I would be so happy traveling and exploring the world and experiencing new culture. I love watching your family bonding together. I love Brooklyn the most, but Colt reminds me of myself when I was younger.
You're living the life that I wanted for my family but couldn't do due to financial consideration. Like you, I believe that travel is essential for the growth of the kids. It opens their eyes to new experiences and other culture. My son for instance, never thought of living/working abroad until he saw how wonderful other countries are like japan, new zealand, singapore, taiwan, south korea, etc. And yes, we too couldn't leave our children behind although they are now adults. It's simply more enjoyable to travel with the whole family despite the cost. I do the planning for our trips and seeing the joy that my family gets out of it is worth all the effort. So keep on traveling and sharing your experiences with us. We're here to support you!
We're definitely fortunate in that we can afford to travel like this, although it's not easy. We're not cashing out our retirement accounts or anything but the costs pretty much have us living paycheck to paycheck otherwise. So many flights for so much family, plus the costs of lodging, food, ground transportation, experiences, and so on. It's a very challenging budget, but one we hope will become easier to support as our channel grows. The struggle is worth it considering the benefits to our family and the children, as you've noted. Hopefully you can still get your travel fix now that your kids are adults (and maybe they can pay their own way ;) so please keep us posted. Maybe our paths will cross at some point. In the meantime, thank you for your support and for commenting ❤️❤️
🙏Thank you very much for sharing your travel adventures and answering questions from your fans. My wife and I enjoy your videos. With that being said, I grew up poor in the far east and not until coming to the USA I was able to improve my life immensely. In my humble opinion, for many folks they can only dream what you guys have in life. Reagan, all I can say to you is to spend time with your family as much as you can because times flies. My mom left us when I was 5 years old and my Dad left us when I was 11 years old. Cherish every moment with them, because once that time is gone you'll never get it back. I never had the opportunity to know my family, and it's not by choice they just simply left us after divorce. Living with grandparents is not the same as your core family.
OMG! I just discovered your channel this morning while trying to make travel plans for my month-long trip to the French Riviera next month. You are officially my favorite new travel channel!! I don’t have kids. (Or a husband, for that matter!) But I love your travel style. (Foodie here, too!) Thank you! Keep ‘em coming.
Thank you, Jill!! 🤗 That makes us so happy to hear. We’re definitely going to keep ‘em coming. Our schedule is packed the rest of the year, including a trip back to Europe in Dec. And lots of food content!
I can relate to all of these things. You guys are doing an incredible job. Your children will have such an advantage growing up. That's an amazing gift you're offering them all. I love your travel goals.
Thank you!!! 😊 it always feels good to hear encouragements. If I summed up the episode to a few words, I’d say traveling with kids isn’t always easy but it’s definitely always worth it.
I really love your channel! Happy I found this while scrolling on RUclips. I'm from the Philippines and I saw your travel here. I've been to Boracay and Cebu also and watching your vlogs made me miss it haha! Glad you enjoyed your stay here!
You guys are great. Your children are very lucky to have you as parents. I watched some of your travel especially my country the Philippines, I'm glad you enjoyed it. More power!....
hi family awesome video its part of life lots of decession to make plus set back you guys doing a great job thank you guys in the long run you guys have so much stories to talk about as you guys get older until next video stay safe ❤❤❤❤❤
If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living to help support this lifestyle. Thank you for this wonderful channel and many good vibes toward you and the family!
Did you guys do a specific video on your kids and how you do schooling? We live in Vancouver, and Thailand, but we plan on doing a lot more between both worlds in the next few years.
Our recent video, day in the life, shares a little bit about that. But since you’re international you can look into Ignite. I’ve heard good things about it and it’s similar to the program our kids are in. It’s a private online school but the tuition seems very reasonable to us.
husband here trying to get in as many shows before we leave on the 26th. Our son's lifting story. At age 3 he was always interested in Bruce Lee movies, ( Bruce and Brandon are buried next to each other in Seattle, on Capital Hill ) For his 7th BD, I signed him up for Tae Kwon Do. I took him 3x a week for two months then I also started the class. I was 49 at this time. After 4 years we both earned our black belts. Ryan went on to karate for a year and kick boxing for a year. In high school, he was dip king for all 4 years. ( pushing yourself up on parallel bars, up, down, up etc. In College he set two state records for benching and dead lift. After college he was dating a girl who was a cross fit trainer. Ryan wanted to set the world record for the dead lift which would have been 920 lbs. for his age of 26. He was up to 800 lbs and they broke up. Mom was happy in that he lost interest in the world record. Ryan is 5'8" and has his own gym set up in his garage. No more world record goals though. It is nice that both of you can get in some exercise between meals. lol
@@AlwaysBeChanging Phil, we are heading for Cebu, Ph. on Mactan Island where we have our 3000 sq ft home, 5 bedrooms, 4 bath, AC in the bedrooms only, one maid 3 dogs, banana trees, and humidity, lots of it. It's cold in Wash.
Brooklyn is an aesthete... so I know devotee's relish the culture of places like Italy of course, New York's with its Metropolitan museum of art... and a host of art galleries in the Manhattan... when she grows up I'm sure she'll be visiting New York more often and Italy. the word aesthete I had to actually look up and hear the way to pronounce it from a recording... Thank you 🙏. Phil owns a marketing agency, Distill, that he operates remotely. We also work full time (between the two of us) on our content.
