I think the biggest issue here is that polygraphs are trusted far too much. They are nowhere near as reliable as people say they are.

To pass polygraph you need to be confident in your answer and that's really all it takes

I agree that is not what a UFO looks like. I've seen one up close & personal when I was pulling the stunts I pull. I didn't freak out or anything like that like they thought I would. The UFO I saw up close & personal had strange lights & was triangular shaped, but many years back there was a saucer like thing in the sky so maybe there are more than one type of craft? Ew that noise at the end they play for me every single night creepy & what is the alien obsession with buttholes? That is legit.

Hi I'm TRUE KENNEY I have seen UFO'S for over 10 years if go on my youtube channel, you will see what is going on you will not believe, what is going on & I have seen a UFO & a alien.
I think they shot Travis cause he came too close, but then wanted to make sure he'd survive that. So they took him, made sure his health was stable and put him back where they found him.

I know a guy who has this insane alien story. According to him, he and his friends were driving to their cabin up in Maine, and whole they were literally on the road to it, they noticed a star-like object following their car directly above them. It followed them all the way to the house, and after they quickly ran inside, the star shot upwards faster than anything they'd ever seen before and vanished.
Travis' friends figured "He's a lumberjack, and he's OK" and took off

You guys might like this story, as it relates to Frederick's case. My old man was a pilot flying freight in the 90s, and he witnessed a UFO over Bass Straight. It hovered in front of his DC-9 for several minutes doing what he called a "dance". He later claims it felt like it "scanned him". His co-pilot saw this as well and apparently on his deathbed talked endlessly about the UFO he saw. I remember the night my old man came home after this and he was visually shaken which scared me as a young child. He had drawn diagrams in his logbook of the manoeuvres the UFO made.
So yeah TL;DR: there were UFOs hanging about that area. I should note though, that in spite of his experience, my dad reckons Frederick just crashed into the water.
There is a theory that Valentich was disoriented and was actually flying upside down without realising it, so the craft he was seeing was his own reflection in the ocean below him.
I want you to think that one through please.

For anyone interested, Travis Walton's abduction story was actually made into a movie. It's called Fire in the Sky (1993) and is adapted from 'The Walton Experience', Travis Walton's autobiography.
One of the arguments used as to why there aren't a lot of honest alien sightings is because they wipe our minds. Now, just imagine one of the aliens watching this and being like:

About the plane story: If he's flying under a thick patch of clouds, very close to the surface on a dark night, it's easy to see how he could have mistaken the lights of his own plane as another aircraft. In my opinion, it explains everything he went through. He was inexperienced so entirely possible, he was obsessed with UFOs, the constant hovering, the return of the 'craft' sometime later (flew out from one cloud cover, under a clear sky for some time, and under a different cloud cover and the same thing happened). The scraping metal could have easily been a faulty engine or a gazillion other things. His plane could have crashed into the ocean, or maybe he lost contact and THEN the plane crashed in a remote area where they wouldn't look for him.
I'll take any of those before "aliens are roaming around putting stuff in people's holes" like cmon. We'd be obliterated right now if a civilization capable of interstellar travel came to us. They would never be scared of a planet-bound lifeform.
I'm almost 100% sure there's life out there. But have they visited us to play doll with us? Meh.
I agree with everything up until you say we'd be obliterated. Anything smarter than us surely understands that intelligent life is interesting, just like how we find crows and octopi interesting, and if they have the capabilities they do have, the earth is nothing but a zoo who's most impactful inhabitants have finally figured out enough about the universe to make nukes and play with fundamental forces a little. say we get to where we can travel to planets and across the universe trivially. why would we destroy all the new, fascinating stuff out there if it cant really bother us anyways because we can just warp out whenever?

I feel like people forget that UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object.. anything in the sky that you can’t identify is technically a “UFO”
it's not just eyewitness accounts there's radar evidence of these things flying at tens of thousands of miles per sec, landing tracks left by these UFOs, being chased by military aircraft and getting their systems malfunctioned when they approach close to them etc.

travis has done like 5 polygraphs. he passed all of them except for the one on TV, which is suspicious to say the least. also, he did try and talk to the entities that looked like people, they just ignored him
a guy who put people through a woodchipper passed 3 polygraphs. Ted Bundy passed the polygraph. In the Mark Christie case, he passed the polygraph and the innocent man failed it. Several spies have been known to pass the polygraph. It's really quite easy to beat the polygraph, which is why it isn't admissible as evidence in courts of law.
Also, if a polygraph comes back inconclusive police count that as a failure yet in the Walton case all of the inconclusives are portrayed as "well they didn't fail it so it's probably true".
Polygraphs are the investigative equivalent of flipping a coin in terms of validity
@@emilybarclay8831 even then, the fact that the story from him and his friends hasn’t changed and has stayed consistent with the others makes me believe. If it was a hoax, you’d think that their stories would change and become different over time and not line up at all.

That is a good theory, but it wouldn’t explain why others saw what happened or what was in her nose. I do think a lot of supposed alien or demon sightings could be explained by sleep paralysis tho
Joe Harper I believe that tbh, the only part that confuses me is the nose part, the witnesses could easily be fake and I do believe some are. Out of these three stories the last one for me is the most plausible of happening. The only reason why I believe this is because they just give the humans back, if you think about it, if the government found an alien do you believe they would just “give it back” or would they do lots of experiments on it. It’s weird that in most of these stories the people are going back with hardly any scars or any organs missing. But that’s just my opinion, I do believe in aliens but I think a LOT of abduction stories are fake.
So to counter what Shane was saying about the guy being weirdly focused on the "peoples" faces and how they have no blemishes or freckles, etc. I believe the guy (Trevor) was experiencing something called "the Uncanny Valley" where your brain can process that something is very close to looking or acting like a human, but something still doesn't feel quite right. My theory is those were the ones in disguise as humans. Pretty creepy to think about, actually

What I find truly mysterious is how Bigfoot and UFO sightings have suddenly dropped with the advancement in HD phone cameras.
I've had stuff like this happen before but not with aliens. I sometimes get night terrors and sleep paralysis and the monsters that appear seem completely and totally real. I bet these people are just having night terrors/sleep paralysis.
One time when I was preparing for a hard competitive examination I suddenly woke up, looked right and saw a dark cat. The cat jumped on me like a banshee, I tried to fight it, then I woke up on the floor, no cat :).
@@tl8211 I had a similar experience, I woke up to find a cat on my dresser, but his fur was pulsating and moving on it’s own, it was very bizarre and difficult to describe. It was as though his fur was alive and it was moving of it’s own accord… I was more confused than scared until I realized that I don’t own a cat. Then I woke up for real!
@@TimeForDunston Mine looked like a normal cat, but from the way he jumped on me... he felt much bigger and more dangerous. I think our mind makes composites, right: yours took the shape of a cat but added pulsing, and mine took the shape of a cat but the movements of something bigger.

@@PeniskoboldLP incorrect there was an X-Ray of her head and they found the weird object very obviously in her nose and when she went to an ears nose and throat doctor it was gone with thicker cartilage than the rest of her bridge
@@AevasHouse why did a foot surgeon have an xray of someone's head? Besides, the doctor was her niece, she could be in on it and help fake it. The lady could've put it there herself.

I'm loving this vid. Congratulations Kaz on your research and the presentation. It's a great vibe that I can relate to. I'm a sceptic who'd love to be proven wrong but I'm not holding my breath. My favourite ghost hunters are fellow sceptics Glam and Gore who also make me laugh, Ryan and Shane on Buzzfed Unsolved and the hilarious Project Fear who nobody can really take seriously but they are so entertaining. And that's the crux, we love spooky movies and ghost stories and these channels tap into that. If I am being really generous, I'd say some of these channel makers are improvising / role playing / pretending and I have fun treating their content as a good TV show. The flip side are those content makers who sometimes feel like they are insulting your intelligence. Sometimes it's virtually scripted. There is a plethora of demons running about on many channels, just because it got alot of likes on one of their channels and these content makers tend to hang out and do crossover ghost hunts and suddenly they are all seeing demons. Good...grief.... So, do I enjoy ghost hunting content. Yeah, but only if its fun. I'm looking for a entertaining hour and Americans seem to do this best in my experience. My country, the UK, are awful at it. If you want to cringe then check out Ghost hunting with Girls Aloud, man they should have sacked their agent after that one.

I've heard/ read about all of these stories and heard a recording of the pilot who disappeared while flying. He sounds sooo scared when he says; "Mayday, mayday! It's! It's not an airplane, it's not an airplane!" Travis Walton is the absolute best case of all the known alien encounters in my opinion. I do wonder why they don't mention Bob Lazaar in this video? He used to work at Area51 and has some pretty interesting things to say about this topic. He hasn't been abducted though but just for the evidentual sake I mean 😊

im normally on ryans side but i never believe peoples alien abduction stories because they always describe the aliens to look exactly like they do in the movies like we just happened to guess it right. in reality if aliens exist (which they do) they most definitely don't look like anything we imagine.
I do kinda agree but to be fair a lot of the films were made after the abduction stories, like a lot of the time the designs were based on the people’s stories (but I also don’t think they’re likely to be true)
I want to see both of their reactions now that the Pentagon Has Confirmed UFOs in 2020 and awaiting a report from the Military on UFOs in 2021.
