I've had one for years. I use it for both coffee and tea. It is awesome. It also comes in a thermal carafe version. You can fill the water container as high as you like, and it will only use as much as you program it to.

I’m soooo sorry I missed your comment 😞. I honestly love them both but I, personally, prefer cold brew! The cold brew isn’t watered down at all as it’s brewed more concentrated. My husband, however, prefers hot- this coffee maker makes it so that I can do both! STILL in love with it!

@@Thomas-ss5jz One thing to note… The glass on the carafe seems very flimsy and has already cracked after two weeks of use. I would definitely get the thermal carafe or the over ice carafe if you plan on a lot of ice coffee.
Thanks so much! I have tried the specialty function- I made a cappuccino with frothed almond milk. It tasted awesome but it was entirely too much caffeine for me. My heart was racing and I was quite anxious and didn’t even finish the entire mug. I tried one other time with the same result and decided I’d better leave that one alone lol. So far, my favorite syrup for coffee is the white chocolate and my fav for iced tea is definitely the peach!

I wonder if that makes a difference in how well it brews coffee versus cheaper, lower wattage coffee makers. It’s a little more money than I was expecting to pay for a coffee maker but I have not bought one in several years. I also like the Braun Brew Sense 7100 series coffee makers. Thanks again
Hi there! It is strong and not for the faint of heart! LOL I’ve never had actual espresso by itself, only in macchiatos, lattes, etc. In that regard, I would say “yes.” I use regulars ground coffee. I used to grind my own beans but had issues with my previous coffee maker because I was grinding them too fine. Although, because of how this coffee pot is made, that wouldn’t be an issue.

No, it doesn’t use cold water. The water is actually warm and they recommend you fill whatever vessel you’re using with ice. There’s also an over ice brew which brews at a higher temperature than the cold brew setting- I’ve never used that one though.
I noticed your buttons are glitching compared to other reviews on the same Ninja coffee maker (they didn’t do that), is it possibly how you recorded it or it could just be a minor defect ? I’m just wondering from reading reviews that eventually flaws start in (a few) months of use. Hopefully it’s just the way it was recorded.
Then the frequency of the lights match the frequency or frame rate of the recording media, things flash or look like they are standing still. Like if you record a fan spinning or propeller on a plane spinning, sometimes they look like they are standing still. I.e. a regular light bulb really flashes at 60hz, which is 60 times per second due to the power. If you have a recording media filming at 60 frames per second, it will look jacked up. lol

Hey there! It’s just the cold brew function that takes a little longer. Like the other commenter said, actual cold brew takes hours, maybe even an entire day. In the machine, I believe that because it brews at a lower temperature, it has to sit in the grounds for a longer period of time. Honestly, it’s totally worth the wait. Also, one glass of cold brew takes less than 10 minutes. If I recall correctly, it’s 10 minutes for a full carafe.

No worries! There is also an “over ice” function. It brews at a lower temperature than the classic for an iced coffee but doesn’t take as long as the cold brew. So versatile! Hope this helps!

I absolutely agree. I don’t indulge in sweet coffees much anymore. I may add some water, almond milk, or two tablespoons of flavored creamer at the most. I think the appreciation for the coffee flavor comes with age.

No, it doesn’t use cold water. The water is actually warm and they recommend you fill whatever vessel you’re using with ice. There’s also an over ice brew which brews at a higher temperature than the cold brew setting- I’ve never used that one though.

CP301. I have the CP307 and the tank leaks horribly. Even got a new base unit from Ninja. Still leaks, so be aware, it's a widely known defect.
