I just ordered this coffee machine. It’ll be here Monday. The k-cup side of my cuisine art just broke. I ordered the Ninja to replace it. No more k-cups for me. I’m over the k-cup Keurig hype. Back to making it by the pot 👍
Another hint I can share: to make a perfect pot, I first turn it to full carafe and do cold brew. Then when it is done, I immediately turn it to RICH and HALF CARAFE and use the same grounds to complete a full carafe of perfect coffee. It's the most amazing flavor and hot enough to drink without warming up. Let me know what you think!
@@CoffeeDetective we just used it for tea yesterday. I will need to reread the instructions. It was a bit weak. I really love this one though. Have you noticed there is a bit off coffee left in the holder when the pot is finished brewing?
@@crisrojichastain Same with the coffee. I use more than they suggest. As for your question... You mean water left in the filter assembly? Haven't noticed it myself. But read page 6 of your Quick Start Guide. You may need to adjust the "drip stop time setting".
FINALLY our old original Ninja Coffee bar is on the fritz!! Can no longer set the clock or delay brew and the clean cycle will not work so that is going in the RV and just ordered this one from Ninja's website (and got to use a discount code!!) Wanted this one when it first came out!! I grind my own special beans and love the way the Ninja brews my coffee I'm such a coffee snob now!!!
Mine is still working! After 9 years. I bought this new one on Facebook used, and I love it. My daughter is only 12 and likes tea, so this is perfect for my family. I'm keeping my old one as a backup, it's been a workhorse being used daily at least once in 9 years.
I have had mine for about 2 weeks now and absolutely love it. I am coming from a Kerig which is so one dimensional to this that is so versatile is fantastic. I love making cappuccino but I use hazelnut creamer instead of milk and it comes out fantastic.
@@CoffeeDetective Just made cold brewed for the first time and added hazelnut creamer and it is pretty good. Cold brewed coffee in less than 15 mins. that is smooth and not watered down is pretty impressive.
Thank you. And happy New Years great video I just bought this coffee machine for Christmas and this video helps a lot clear instructions easy to understand keep it going👍🏼
so here's my beef.. what if you are not a tea person? I love Ninja coffee makers but they over do the features and dont sell a basic model like the original Coffee Bar. so now people like me who will never drink tea, or froth milk spend money on a machine that we are only using half of it. They need to make a smaller less featurific version. The reason Ninja coffee makers are so awesome is because of the flexibility in brew size, you can make a single cup, or a carafe, you can also change how strong you want the coffee, and the over ice feature is useful as well BUT THATS IT, they need to stop there. so frustrating that in order to get some features you need to get them ALL.. just a waste of money cause you know this thing is not going to last more then 3 years with daily use.
Jmhm17 this was one of my hesitations for sure. Which ultimately led me to purchase the Braun multiserve instead. It was a real tossup between the two machines for me. I got the Braun on sale which really sealed the deal.
As a tea drinker I’m looking for something for tea that does all these things but just for tea, but guess what, thy does not exist. In the tea world, there’s very few options for us to be able to just brew and have it go straight into the cup to be able to walk out the door. You coffee drinkers have it so easy. You stumble and can find something to do that. For tea drinkers a proper tea maker is very expensive and does not have this feature.
I love tea but have never and never will drink coffee; but I’m considering to still get this. I guess if I ever have guests over, that’d enjoy coffee, it would come in handy for them. Maybe you’ll have guests who’d enjoy tea. 🤷🏾♀️
You could not be a ninja and find something else that fits your needs. A company finally comes up with something that accommodates teas drinks and non tea drinkers complain

When you turn it to rich does it make it regular coffee or is it still going to be cold brew?
@@alilovie3112 When I turn it to rich it is reg super hot coffee, which counteracts the warm cold brew to make a perfect temp for me.
I think it sounds like a lot of work :)
What happens if you put espresso in it on specialty mode? Why wouldn’t it work?
Great video! You have a very easy to listen to voice....you should do audio books!
GOOD VIDEO but does anybody knows the brewing temperature ( i care about flavor ) thank you
I'm wondering as well. 🤔
According to consumer reports it gets above 195 Fahrenheit.
We just bought one and love it! Thank you for showing more details.
You're welcome! Are you using it just for coffee, or for tea as well?

@@crisrojichastain I have but very little.
Where did you buy this from? I can't find anywhere in the UK that sells it? 😢
Have you done a temperature test on the water?
How tall is the coffee maker?

Does this take k cups?
No

Really great review! Thanks!
Ninja should hire you for this.
Could I just use espresso beans for the specialty mode
Good idea to froth your milk first! My son brother his creamer. He liked the way it turned out!
You should have more subscribers, you make really good video
You need to use 2 large scoops for the specialty coffee. Thats what it says on the chart....and it is much stronger. :)
I have this coffee maker with thermo jar is any option to hot plate under jar?
Does it give you an option just for hot water?
Yes you just select classic and full carafe and you hit start! Super nice and simple!
What was the model number of this one? Should be like CP301 or something
Cp307 is the new 1
What Cp307???? I thought it was cp301 also!
Does this have a timer for auto start?
Yes, but you have to leave it power on until it make your drink, so no energy saving there, but it have a timer
You should probably be a narrator
Well done.

There are different types of Ninja Coffee Makers without all the bells and whistles.
