So true 👍
As a guy in his mid 20s currently.. this song is an absolute banger!!
The 80s truly rules in music 🎶
and from a guy from the 80's your not wrong.. best ever..
Cant agree more sir !
That is so true. 80s music is the bomb. I lived on it and still grooving to the beat in my 40s.
I’m 22 love 70s and 80s can’t beat it!!
If you only knew! It was an AMAZING time to be alive 😎
Private Eyes, Every Breath You Take, One Way Or Another. Why is Stalker Pop so good?
so you!ve got also this virus too... HELP! Are you an Alien in New York or just no Milk today? Next life i will have drummsticks and a guitar! I swear!
Because women fantasize that the "top 5% of attractive men" are doing to them that song is about. Not the creepy mentally ill "bottom 5% of icky men" that is reality.😊
Yeah actually... very good point. Guess there was a passion in these songs that's missing these days. Don't forget Eye in the Sky!
Every Breath is considered maybe the best song of the 80's. Private Eyes was a great song too.
Don't forget Hungry Like the Wolf.
I’am 89 years young and love this song and performers.

Notice how everyone in this video is happy ? This was the epitome of the 80's music .
@Association of Free People It was a happy time. Nobody cared if you were Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, black or white, or anything else. Everybody did their thing and had fun doing it. If only we could bring that back.
David Moore can’t say that bassists looks happy lol. More motionless
Time to work ,live, pay bills not bitch and complain bout everything

@@muzikdude1188 I dunno man. Maybe you're remebering it with a kid's memory. There was a lot of upheaval in the world ; AIDS, famine, the war on drugs... It was also a strangely carefree time in some ways, and without the Internet it was quieter, but there was a lot of tense politics and the threat of mutually assured destruction in the air.
The bassist....chilliest of the chill. Doesn't even do the famous clap...clap clap...

Little more than money, seems oates tried to sell his share of their publishing without Hall even knowing. Thats kinda not cool if true.
Hall and Oates are a duo that has put out many hits. This is one of them, and a hit that still holds up well over 40 years later!
DAF is a better duo.
Of course it holds up well. Look at the competition from the past couple of decades. This is at least music.
Yup but it's rare to hear this song on the 80's radio stations today. But since it was a number 1 hit, they do play it sometimes.
Awesome group I remember in 1982, I was 16
Even in the 80's this was extremely 80's.
lol, haha ikr,
80s? says 2015?
this song is from the 80s, but their youtube channel only posted it last year
I'm sure it was, lol. It's from 1981, I heard it as a kid in like 89-90 when I was 6 and didn't know it was (a little bit) old already!
Well if it was posted to youtube in 2015 that must be when it came out right?
Greatest Duo in music history period. 40 years later and still better than most music out today
If you look hard enough, great music is still being made. You just have to hunt for it. Modern music has to devolve to the common driver
Better than all music out today*
You’re right about that!!!!
Hall is the only one that sings lol. Oates just sings backup. So it’s not really a duo in my opinion.
Up with Steely Dan
This is one of the coolest songs ever recorded, Hall and Oates wasn't no joke.
No joke

Tom "TBone Wolk," one of the great sidemen of all time. And next to him G E Smith, who led the Saturday Night Live Band for many years.
GE needed to put some showmanship into that big bridge. One of the best in pop history and the director did a good job with it (the double vision) but he was still obviously so matter of fact about it - compare that to the vid for say it isn't so where he's jumping around like he's on fire. @Jaiden Rocha I'm planning to put together a Retro Decade Revival Project. Our goal is to bring real entertainment, true talent, pure originality and diversity, old school and more back into the public mainstream, starting with the 1980s. The 1980s will be the first decade to be brought back in the project. It's all about authentic preservation, historic restoration, revivalism, purifying the world out of sexualization, vulgarity, pornography and profanity and getting to understand the good old days in person. It's an international artistic and cultural movement to get the good old days back into the mainstream.
@Jaiden Rocha Mumble rap will be a thing of the past, extinct and forgotten, Jaiden. Those mindless schmucks you mentioned won't be plaguing the music industry anymore once the Retro Decade Revival Project goes underway. It will restore real music to its former glory. God bless you, Jaiden for taking the time to appreciate it and I thank you for that.
@Jaiden Rocha I wish you and your family the best of luck and may your life be fruitful with imagination, joy, creativity, hope, peace, artistry and unconditional love.
@Jaiden Rocha The pleasure is mine. The world needs more pure originality and diversity in all music, entertainment and art industries.

Daryl Hall and John Oates, often referred to as Hall & Oates, are an American musical duo from Philadelphia. Daryl Hall is generally the lead vocalist of the pairing. John Oates primarily plays electric guitar and provides backing vocals. The two write most of the songs they perform, either separately or in collaboration. They achieved their greatest fame from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s with a fusion of rock and roll

Wow! Thank you. ..👍
Sounds like a stalker. But always 2 meanings anyway.
Saudade de músicas ótimas como essa. Hoje só tem poluição sonora. Delícia ouvir música da melhor qualidade.
I will never forget this song , I was a teen when it was in every party .Daryl's voice is one of my fav. 😍
These two were just golden when it came to the catchy hooks, great musicianship and vocals.

Bought the cassette to this album in '82 and played "Private Eyes" on repeat probably 35-40 times in a row.
That’s how it was for me with Foreigner & Urgent!
My daughter is gonna learn all H&O songs! It's education!
It's only right
Adult Education?
My dad educated me well and I love all 60s/70s/80s music 😁
RicBar MacNor i learned them in my mom’s station wagon in the 80s. That and Billy Joel, 🤣
Yeah it’s great for children, but it could also be considered as some good ADULT EDUCATION! Get it, adult education? Haha
Back here again. Absolute belter!! 🤩
Grew up listening to these guys...they knew how to put out a killer tune. Greatest hits compilation is pretty amazing.
