I cannot begin to tell you how much this workout has helped me(36 M). I started about 4 months ago and at first I could barely get through it once but since then I've started doing it every other day and I'm up to 3X per workout, which takes 26 mins total. For starters I always had issues getting into a workout routine, I'd ride my stationary here and there, shoot some hoops or do some rowing, which are all great but I could never find a good balance for a consistent full body workout. This circuit has given me structure, efficiency and, most importantly, results. When I started doing the workout I was hovering above 200 lb, I'm now sitting below 180, a weight I haven't even sniffed since I was in my early 20's. I also had been struggling to squeeze into size 34 pants, but now size 32 is nearly falling off of me, which is also something I haven't experienced since my early 20s. If you're interested in the science behind this workout there is a Harvard study on high intensity circuit training (HICT) that is very interesting and is where this circuit originated. One interesting thing I learned from that study is that when you do HICT your metabolic rate is increased for up to 48-72 hours after working out. I'd also like to mention that I DID NOT make changes to my diet, I think I'm generally a fairly healthy eater but I still indulge just as much as I used to, if not more now because I don't feel the guilt, I know I'm burning it off even on my rest days. Thank you🙏I highly recommend!!

lol.I have been doing this for 5 years, it still is hard to do but worth it. I would suggest making up a sheet with all the exercise on it and say 30 days with. It then motivates you fully to not fall back to lower reps. I am now about 52 ish and it keeps me from huffing and puffing too much. Good luck

Hello, I am new to fitness blender. Usually I hit planet fitness on my way home from the office . But this week my car ended up in the shop which is making me work from home. On my break i browsed youtube to find workouts while at home. This is working great. I performed the complete 15 minute work out and completely covered in sweat! Yes , I am over weight from working behind the desk and have been attending the gym for several months. This site works out great for me while I am at home waiting for my car to be fixed. Hi there! I've been following you two for a while now (love you guys!) and was wondering if you have ever thought about doing a 5-10 minute workout video to do at the office/desk? Just a couple exercises (w/o equipment) to do to get you over that 3pm slump and that'll help you burn a couple extra calories while at work. If you already have something like this and I've missed it- can you post it? Or link it? Thank you again Dan & Kelli!!! =)

Here’s the regimen, in case anyone else likes having it written down!:
Remember to keep moving during rest phases!
It’s okay to modify these to make it easier for you. Just keep up the routine! The harder techniques will become easy if you keep building those muscles in any way that works best!
    30sec Jumping jacks
    10sec REST
    30sec Wall sit/static squat
    10sec REST
    30sec Push ups
    10sec REST

    ~ WORKOUT COMPLETE! ~
Keep at it! Make this routine just as ordinary as breakfast. This won’t be difficult forever-your muscles will build and learn to be efficient over time. I’m trying to get back into shape, and I wish you just as much luck as I hope to have, myself. Go out there and gain that extra endurance, stranger!

Is there a low impact version? Doctors have told me to do low impact because of my knees & back. Kelly I love your routine in this video & hope you can share a low impact video. Thank you!

@@debraanderson9517it’s already pretty low impact. Try step-jacks instead of jumping jacks (step side to side as you throw your arms up), and do the high knees from standing instead of running? Maybe take the step-ups slowly too?

Just a friendly note - tricep dips are meant to work your triceps (back of your arms), not your back.. when doing this exercise, if you feel it more in your back than in your triceps, check your form. While you do use certain back muscles in this exercise, the majority of the work should be felt in your triceps, chest and medial & posterior deltoids (shoulders).. 😊

I just love you and Daniels workouts, I just finished the 4 week fat loss program for low impact and beginners for the second time and have lost 15 lbs even. I'm tempted to do one of your 8 week plans but I'm not sure if I have enough endurance and strength to keep up yet. Have you guys considered doing a round two of the 4 week fat loss plan that's low impact?

    superb execution of really-nice concepts!
although i believe passive rests are okay, too, and can even be doubled. the authors of the article also state this circuit is best performed two to three times in a row.
i'm recommending this video! thanks a million. :)
