A lot of bike for the money but it seems the designer of the plastics must have a history in car trim design, which it is not designed for easy removal. It took a mate and me most of the day to change the spark plugs on his 800MT. Removing those plastic side bits without damaging them was a nightmare. That might explain why none of the RUclips videos show the process of unclipping the bits. Once the plastics and tank were removed the ABS unit prevented access to the coils and plugs. It had to be unbolted and pushed-around so tools and components could be squeezed past. The experience killed my temptation to buy one of these bikes. I think I'm better-off just adding an MC Cruise to my old bike and keeping it going.
wow...that doesn't read like much fun at all and being a DIY fan, this is a bit of a turn-off; all the electronic gizmos don't do much for me either and the fact that the bike can be tracked really does ring alarm bells for me; big brother annoys the crap out of me with its eyes everywhere.....thanks for taking the time to put this maintenance info up.
A lot of people were hoping to see the 450 at the NEC bike show, after it was displayed at EICMA, but unfortunately it wasn't there. Quite a lot of interest on the CF Moto stand in general though.
I don't understand why anyone would mess with your Geo-stashes. Seems like a lot of effort to be an A-hole. I'm glad I did Pride Rock when I did! It's beautiful out there this time of year. Cheers Mark!

Angus was low grading the Benelli TRX 500X but it's much the same as Drew's bike, being bang for buck. All spare parts are available cheap online, and are fantastic for road / dirt roads.
these bikes are for real, anyone who thinks bad because of the origin needs a head wobble - the 2024 models are taking serious money drops too , at least here in England
It’s interesting how CF Moto is putting these bikes together, obviously they’ve been looking at how these bikes get used by their owners and putting together specs to make the bike very attractive. Most people aren’t going off road, and if they do, it’s probably going to be gravel roads, logging roads, etc. The bike has a strong bias toward road adventures with the option to do light off road if the urge overtakes you. Loaded with tech and modern creature comforts, they know the market, and with the world reeling from higher inflation and cost of living, keeping the price point down. I can’t speak to the quality of the bike, or the longevity, but as a package, it will be lucrative to many potential buyers.
That bike certainly seems like value... However, not knocking it, but with all the electronics being fitted onto bikes these days, including traction control, etc, are prohibiting new riders from learning to develop their skills. This also applies to cars. Too many features to play with! Good to see MCT back!

All bikes depreciate...They very rarely go up in value in most peoples lifetimes. If you ride waranty periods and then trade in probably not the best. But if you plan to keep it 5+ years the depreciation hit is not that bad.
