I am really glad i got this model. Thee is a few things i dont like about the dash, once i finish this trip i will be doing a full over view of everything i liked and disliked about it so stay tuned fot that

Hello, when you are in the menu, if you swipe down from the top, you will have other settings you can choose. While there, if you swipe from right to left it will show instant consumption and also só trip one and two. In the corner it will show a lock and if you click on it it will lock that screen to become visible, if not, it will desapear. Al so, in that screen you can see how many km until next maintenance. Hope this tip will help you. Have a nice ride.

Nice little tutorial of how the cockpit controls work. I'm picking up a brand new Explorer tomorrow or the next day from a dealer in little old New Zealand, which , if you didn't know, is a little pimple on the bum of the earth. This new electronic stuff is pretty cool compared to back when I was racing motocross 40yrs ago on a good old TM400 Suzuki. Wish me luck 😅

In Singapore we're currently running Software Version 1.00.29, any idea if anyone's been able to get the latest versions pushed to their 800MT Explore bikes?

Hi Drew just watched your vid on the dash. I can’t get the off road mode to save. Defaults back to Sport every time. Does your mode remain when you turn ignition off? Also thanks I finally got the map to update and go online. However it says 12 months free what do we have to do then? Subscribe? Thanks mate.
Sorry, the maps for navigation in the screen is not from your phone? do you have to subscribe or pay for that map? (I dont have iPhone as well and was wondering how to get navigation with android on the bike)
Very detailed explanation, I really like this car’s many driving assistance systems and its beautiful appearance, especially the Behind Radar System (BRS). Bosch's TC system also gives people a lot of confidence in safety. I want to know if you are satisfied with the brightness of the headlights of this car in a dark environment at night? Is its brightness level average, bright, or very bright? Thanks.
I haven't actually ridden at night yet but I'll check them out in the next week or so at night

Nice video man! Shame you didn’t show the apple carplay. How do you like the bike so far? I test drived it and loved it. I’ll try kawasaki 1000sx and after that I’ll choose what to get.
Unforrtunalty i dont have an iPhone so i am unable to test the CarPlay. I love the bike, i commute on it everyday and ride most weekends, have clocked nearly 8000km now

How do I turn off daytime running lights?
The lights cant be switched off by themsleves, you maybe able to rig something up but from factory they are on at all times.
Just bought mine and it does not go back to the main screen. Do you know how to?

Almost nobody speaks about that. I can't find any information. Thanks 😁🤙
Yea it does in one of the menus. My average fuel consumption over the 7500km since owning the bike has been 5.45L/100km.
With a highest consumption of 6.92L/100km when I had a really big headwind

I gues I will be able next week to make a test ride with the Explore model, here in my hometown Arad, Romania, Europe.
And I will make it especially for the fuel consumption.
What I saw on the entire internet, is that everybody ride this bikes quite agresiv 😬 and then is normal to have a consumption over 5,5 - 6L/100km.
I'm used to ride very gently, on small back country rounds with 70-100km/h, without hard accelerations, etc.
But we are almost all the time two persons and full of luggage 😁🤙.
I own a 650 Transalp and in this type of riding I have between 5,2 - 5,5L/100km.
I'm interested to buy in March maybe, the Explore model. And for me as a long ride traveler, is important to have a good fuel consumption. I hope that in my rithm, slovly, gently... To have it under 5L/100km.
We will see.. I will test it 🤭
@@800Adventures hello, I made today a Test Ride with the Explore model, 185km. I rode it slowly, on small roads, with passanger and I also had strong wind 😬. But the result was good, 4,6L/100km 🙏☺️

In rain mode you cant use QS.
Yep quick shifter can be used in all modes
only iphone

On the Explore it can only be done at a dealer
@@800Adventures Thats just sad. Either pay the dealer for marked up oil/filter + workmanship or pay the dealer just to reset the interval
