    I'm surprised by how easy this was to follow even though I have zero clue about animation. The whole series made me want to at the very least try to tackle a tiny project while following every along every single video, which is neat.
    favorite feature: for sure the 3D models. It took me a while to get used to positioning them the way I want but it sure beats searching for references for hours on end just to completely forget what I was looking for to begin with as I realize I've spent yet another night doing absolutely nothing as the birds are chirping outside my window in the early morning hours.

    The manga paneling feature is probably my favorite. It's not even the most powerful feature in the program but it's so helpful overall.

    Honestly, it saddens me that this is the very last episode in your series. The way you break down your explanations makes it extremely easy to grasp. My best feature so far has been the perspective ruler as this has been extremely in drawing accurate building structures in a timely manner. For some time, I have searched many RUclips tutorials on how to use this feature, but your explanation is hands down the best as it simple, straight forward and concise.
    Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. We are all grateful. I will greatly miss your tutorials and the humour you inject in them 😢.

    My favorite feature in Clip Studio Paint is... well, everything related to comics. From the starting borders in a page (aka where you can draw without fear of losing it in print), to the Stream and the Saturation Tool, the speech bubbles, and the text (although I wish the text was a bit more customizable in many more ways). As someone who is planning to eventually create a graphic novel, these are honestly godsent.

    I think my favorite part of CSP is redrawing the vector lines, you mentioned it in one of the other vids too I'm pretty sure, helps a lot with redraws and saves buckets of time! :D
    Btw. how is the one for it's size? my old display tablet broke and I was considering it but I'm a bit worried about the size when working on it for a longer time?

  • @RikuSuiYuuki
    @RikuSuiYuuki 4 года назад

    The best feature is by far the vector layer!! Being able to draw vector lines and having raster layers at the same time is a huge timesaver and is also intuitive to use, as opposed to changing softwares to do one or another

  • @Wolfknightly

    Thanks for another great lesson. I have been pretty interested in how the animation works in CSP. I plan on doing some animation down the line. It is hard to pick just one feature as my favorite one in CSP. The fill tool is great for sure, that can be a wonderful time saver. The power to alter your lines using vector lines is very cool. The perspective ruler's super handy to have. Being able to use 3d models to pose with lighting, is just a great addition that I wouldn't have even thought to ask for. I was impressed with what I saw here for the animation tools. If I have to choose just one, though, I think it is the vector lines that are my favorite.

And the consistency across them as well. I also like the 3D models now that I learned more about them in this series.

    This is super useful, thank you @TheOneWithBear and @wacom! I used to do simple animations in Photoshop frame by frame (which i really enjoyed as I adore animation and always dreamed to be an animator since I was a kid which never happened...), but at the time couldn't find a simple and yet powerful tool fit specifically for frame by frame animation... and here it is! I love how everything is automated and simple to navigate. Automated onion skinning and auto-playing frames in a sequence looks like something that will make the whole process super straightforward, enjoyable and sooo much easier. Would be keen to try!! Thanks and looking forward to more of your videos :) Olesia

About CLP the best features will be (not in order) the AI colouring, the manga ready to print, the 3D models, comic AND animation in one program, the fact that they offer tutorials of all kinds in several languages, endless tools, great customization of brushes and shortcuts and the list goes on and on :)

    My favorite feature in Clip Studio is the oil paint brush.
    But mostly as it has allowed me to use CSP (my fav drawing app of all times, while I am a seasoned Photoshopper at companies since '95 !) also for my digital painting (I was since long using it for illustrations' penciling and inking). I have too many "favorite features" in CSP, like the G-pen (raster, but I also like now the vectorial, thanks to Sarajean), all the stabilization features in all the tools (no app does it better), and a large etc. And late versions, a rather improved modern UI, and performance. Indeed, CSP's capability to handle very well large files in every machine, low or powerful, is definitely another one in my top list. Overall, its many extremely well thought workflows for a professional illustrator and comic artist.
    I really hope to see Sarajean Chung more, somewhere, at some channel... funny and entertaining as heck (and really good explaining very key CSP concepts). Has been my favorite Wacom's guest till date (by very far). Will follow her Instagram for sure.

    I came across "World Anime Networks" Channel on RUclips. They are a studio in the Philippines which uses Clip Studio professionally to clean up work from Japanese producers. Celsys also makes RETAS, a very complex (and expensive) suite of pro animation production tools, so I guess it shouldn't be too surprising. RETAS used to be available in English but is now only released in Japanese, so I suppose the animation features in Clip Studio are meant to address this limitation.
