About Simple Little Life:
This channel has sort of turned (inadvertently) into a knife making channel. But the original idea behind what we wanted it to be is this description below:
Videos on our journey to homesteading. With a recent purchase of a little piece of the Alberta prairie, we're looking to sell our nice suburban home in search of a more meaningful life beyond chasing the "American dream" working for some big company and making someone else rich. It's not about the money, it's about getting the most value from the work I do to improving the life of my family.
Some preparedness, DIY, building quality things with your hands, guns, gear, and outdoor exploration.
While miniature knives don't always serve the greatest function, I love them. My grandpa gave me a tiny little folder when I was a kid and mini knives have always had an appeal to me ever since. The shape of the bevel on that big tanto is beautiful. I'm new to your channel as of yesterday but loving the vids, I'm binging like 4 years of knifemaking right now!!

Good work on the knife it's not just a knife it's a work of art you are a truly gifted craftsman.. I've only just come across your video's/RUclips channel I will be watching a lot more of your video's. Have you ever made a Cossack style knife/sword as they are a thing of beauty and i think you would be able to do it justice by making a great job of making one.. great deal of respect to you keep up the good work/craftsmanship

As a fairly new knife maker (and consumed by it lol) its great to have this resource, all my fellow officers are hitting me up for knives and your channel is an invaluable resource please keep making great looking knives and posting vids.
Cutlery rivets would've been good use so you didn't have to mess up the finish on the handles. I use 5/16 head ones with a rivet but the counter sink em about couple thousand below the flats on the scales.
That mini would be a handy little thing.

I know this is a old video and I’m not sure if you updated that neck knife design, but I was thinking a finger choil would look pretty sweet and serve as great function as far as getting some more grip. Sweet knives by the way! Keep up the great work!
