Thank you all for watching the video. Let me know what you like best? Making knives from old scrap metal or making knives from wootz steel ? Thank you for your comments, and don't forget to like the video.
Thank you very much for sharing this beautiful craftsmanship!
What did you put on the knife to slow down the hardening and achieve this hamon?
Greetings!
Of cours wootz steel! 👍🤝
This is a fireproof sealant for fireplaces.
I like the wootz.
Glory to Ukraine!
Wow that turned out great. So pleasing to watch how your hard work turns seemingly useless things into a piece of art. Thx
So far the best forging knife I have seen out of hundreds. 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Work of art. Spring steel is an excellent knife material.
Beautiful! I like both styles of blade making… scrap steel and Wootz. Keep up the amazing work, we appreciate it all.
You did a really good job on that; that's art.
The Japanese craftsmen are like gods ... creators. Matchless ❤
Magnificent Tanto Blade !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks 👍
Maravilhoso seu trabalho. Parabéns!
Another masterpiece! I saw this one in your Etsy Store about a week ago... It's pretty neat to be able to watch the process of how it came to be in this video. One of these days, when I have a bit of extra money in my budget I will be adding one of your amazing pieces into my collection. You are a true master of your craft!
Man, you deserve more than 1.000.000 sub! Another MASTERPIECE!
Thanks 👍
Крутая работа, очень нравятся японские танто.

Awesome Job! Love seeing great craftsmanship, hard to find these days!
I like this. And the hamon on it is so cool! Never get a tanto without that on the blade.
Wow, this is amazing! Easily worthy of being a Forged in Fire contest!
Your high. He reshaped spring steel. No hardening required. Hid foraging was more just reshaping then anything else. The real deal guys make there own billet.
@@stretchhfab7315 thanks for clearing that up, whew, glad you were here to let me know how silly I am for that comment I made!
Nakoruru would be proud 😄.
GOD!!! I’d love to learn how to forge knives, swords etc!! Especially the Tanto, Katana & Ninjato
Love the scabbard/ handle match. Very clean, attractive.
A 45 degree on the pointed end might have suited me more but I'm nit picking.
Another master build bro.
Nicely done
Yeah, it's nice to see a different style of making knives!!! Scrap or wootz whichever gets the forge on fire!!!!
Love the contrast between the wood and brass it turned out great
Lovely. The fit and finish are amazing!
Wootz, scrap industrial metal... Either will do very nicely, though I have to confess the Wootz steel is ever-so-slightly more favorite.
Хоть и без литья,но всё очень достойно,как всегда! Благодарю)..
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
I prefer the Wootz, but everything you make is outstanding good. TOP.
Thanks
Absolutely outstanding!
that hamon is genuinely beautiful
Belo trabalho parabéns

Hermosa pieza amigo, eres un artista, felicidades !!!
Saludos de “AZTECA KNIVES” desde Ecatepec, México 🇲🇽
The mosaic pin in the handle was a nice touch. Over all I prefer the wootz steel as you are the only youtuber that I can find who does that regularly.
Just for having a guard on the grinder deserves a like 👍 nice work
bro is a menace on that press bruh 😂
The way the perfect knife decelerates as it slides into sheath with perfect friction at the very end…
Beautiful work as always.
Thanks
Hermoso y excelente trabajo amigo,me gustaría adquirir ése cuchillo Tanto
I don't even know where to start. Masterful
Hi FZ. Appreciate the quality of your videos and for sharing the techniques. How about trying a traditional composite Katana? Have always wondered if the mild shingane (mild core steel) will forge weld with wootz as the hagane/kawagane (edge and skin steel). I asked Rick Furrer years ago and he thought it would weld no problems. I think your Wootz is amazing and perhaps if you get a chance (as I think you're the guy that can produce something to behold), have also wondered if wootz will take a good hamon, seeing as you are now experimenting with that. Love your work! Much RESPECT
Now, that's one big ass spring.
Beautiful!
beautiful knife
Thanks
Класс! Красота🙌
Mis respetos sabe trabajar, buen artezano.

It's always a pleasure to watch you work no matter the type of metal! Slava Ukraini!
I've seen a bunch of these vids, making knives from random metals. I think the process is cool as hell, but always wondered how durable the blades are long term.
Amazing. Beautiful ❤
Thanks
Mesmerizing.....

Hello 👋
How are you doing today
Wow sir... What a craftsman... I love it....
Thanks 👍
Master artist!!
This inspires awe. Thank you for sharing.
Loved the usage of the ancient technique of sketching out the form with a sharpie pen on a slab of steel in accordance with the traditional methods of tanto making.
I definitely would like to own FZ Tando Japanese Knife. 👍
Everything was great til you cut batman up bro
I agree
Forget DC, Marvel for life!!! 😂😂😂
@@Glory_Jiujitsu Idk if I should get mad or not.
Cry for it kid

Beautiful work as always. I would love to own one of your knives. Even though you cut up the picture of the greatest superhero I’m still a fan.
Damn that big ol coil is going to supply you with good spring steel for dozens of projects to come, jealousss

ШЕДЕВР!
Супер. А что за термостойкий силикон вы использовали для зонной закалки?
Very beautiful
Thanks
GOD DAMN THAT LOOKS SO GOOD!!!!
Oh come on!? That was my favorite 🦇 poster from my childhood😢
That’s amazing. Very impressive work. What did you use in the silicone gun to get the pattern on the blade? I made a cleaver from an old leaf spring and tried to do that with clay, but it didn’t work.
Glad I found your channel 👍
Nicely done
Beautiful piece buddy nice job 🔪 blessings 👍 🙌 🙏
amazing knife
Thanks
So astonishing.. every step keeps captivating and your crafts are marvellous...
Really amazing build
Stunning
Beautiful
absolutely gorgeous!!!
Spectacular!!
Nice work as always. Not that I do this sort of thing with metals, I prefer to work a surface all the way down to fine grades of wet or dry paper before hitting the buffer. I also use cut n dry polish. Having said that I'm sure you had your reasons and knew what kind of finish you were after. Very cool Tanto.
Wow i like it
Great video, it was a masterpiece, it was a pleasure watching.
Nice to see you make something else!
The process looks quite satisfying... 😊
Me wishing I had a press. 😢
Great knife.
