  • Hey, guys!
Today I bring you a recurved blade with a very fluid design inspired by the lines of the Art Nouveau style, which gave rise to one of my best-known models, which many people who already know my work call an "elven knife".
The feather damascus pattern is certainly one of my favorites, and I believe that of my audience too, in addition to matching perfectly with this knife model,
The handle is in the fulltang style, filled with ebony splints, and along its entire side it has friezes that give lightness to the appearance and a different feeling when wielding, elegantly extending to the bolster in an effect of continuity. The pins that hold the wooden splints were hidden internally so that the appearance of the piece was cleaner than the previous ones, with through pins.
This is definitely on the list of favorite knives I've ever made, I'd love to have one like this.
    Hope you like it!
    Oi, pessoal!

Blade edge came out nice and sharp, but I wonder how hard the metal is and how long that edge will last? What does the hardness work out to on a Rockwell C scale?

This is what a forging video should be, I really appreciate the fact that you showed us the entire process and not just glazing over the repetitive parts - I’m here to watch the entire process and appreciate it I don’t want instant gratification, so I Thank-you for showing us it. I’ve been looking for sometime now to find a video that actually shows what you have and not glaze over it and show us and an amazing knife at the end (which yours definitely is) I don’t mind watching for an hour or whatever it takes (even this one was about 45 mins) so again Thank-you.
Great work and an awesome video.
