FZ and Shurap are at the pinnacle of their craft as far as RUclips knifemakers. There are others who can make excellent knives, but not with such succinct videos, and I haven't seen anyone do better wootz steel.
Beautiful as usual. THE GREATEST GIFT YOU CAN GIVE THE WORLD IS KNOWLEDGE THOUGH EDUCATION. Picture your vids being shown in a high school shop class etc. people want to learn, you have no competition with the vids which are amazing. Explain materials and purposes, how long the metal is in the forge. Take us on a journey through your mind. Like what kind of wood, belt grits (we can see how the progression works) adhesive resins.
Once again a work of art. The layering is beautiful, and the wood sheath says what is inside this big wooden knife? A real wootz wrapped in a mystery hidden in an enigma.
Your wootz steel videos are my favourite knife making videos. And this is my new favourite knife. When you carved the wood into a bokken I damn near lost my mind. Gorgeous.
THIS IS MINE NOW!!!! 🤣 I thought I’d missed it, but I saw it today on your Etsy store still for sale and got too excited!! This will be FZ blade #4 in my growing collection!!
Thank you again (and as always) for sharing the technique. I was in anticipation of the etching becuase of the biscuit cut off the ingot. I suspected it was for good reasons, and it was. Much respect to you.
Awesome build. I love this style of knife I want one so badly. It’s amazing how effortless and easy you make making these knives from scratch. I’m building my first knife right now and it’s a lot harder than expected. I mean I am using an angle grinder only because I don’t have a belt grinder but still it’s not easy.
Another brilliant video just like seeing that crucible and the metal going into it then into the fire .what comes out of it ,to forging the knife at the end is just beautiful stunning work 👍
The most impressive thing in the video is the dead accurate and rock solid steadiness of your hands. Absolutely impressive as all F. Infinite jealousy here.
Thanks everyone for watching. Don't forget to like and subscribe to the channel. Write in the comments which knife to make in the next videos.
Why did you delete the first version of this video?
When will you be releasing the valerian steel dragon blade?
Finnish Puukko
I’d like to see all the scrap from that blade put into a canister and made into a kwaiken.
You should do something big for the next one, like a kukri.

Thanks 👍🤝
I share the same opinion. 👍👍👍👍

Seems like a clear cut case of too beautiful to actually use.
I’ll put it to work, would make a fine baitknife🎣
Once again a work of art. The layering is beautiful, and the wood sheath says what is inside this big wooden knife? A real wootz wrapped in a mystery hidden in an enigma.
The contrast between the different monosteels and the Wootz is stunning, and the handle and sheave is gorgeous!
