Ken, I did my very first wet shave today. No nicks, no razor burn, and BBS shave. very pleased. I was very careful with my moves and it took a while. I've washed my face with hot water, applied Proraso pre-shave cream, Used Taylor of old bond street sandalwood shaving cream with Edwin Jagger brush. Personna Platinum blade + Edwin Jagger Diffusion 36 razor and end my shave with Tabac after shave lotion and then Tabac aftershave balm.

So far we haven't had many issues getting food and such .... most people have been civil dealing with the inconvenience and hardship here in Milwaukee. I feel for those in the service industry who had their income eliminated over night. I follow what health care professionals say not talking heads looking for ratings or politicians trying to cover their asses. Stay safe and stay healthy. Thank you for you vid!

When I first tried Proraso White, I didnt like the way that it lathered. Well, I decided to rewatch this video and decided to give it another shot with my new shave brush, and better lathering skills, and I LOVE IT!

You can make hand sanitizer with 3/4 rubbing alcohol, and 1/4 Aloe Vera. Most people have both sitting in the bathroom some where. Works good and you can add some drops of essential oil to make your own fragrance with it.
My girlfriend just recently got me some soaps and a brush. I was still in need of a razor. Instead of ordering from amazon. Went ahead and got what I needed from Westcoast shaving. (Razor, bowl and a stand) I even forgot to add something to my order, they went ahead and sent me an invoice of the item with free shipping. Very friendly from that first interaction. I will be ordering from them again.

I used the same razor yesterday. Super mild. I used a Murphy and McNeil soap. With that combo I felt like I could do and extra pass without reapplying the soap because the slickness was so great. Also, I fee like it's been far to long since you used Hi Karate or Canoe aftershave. I miss those Classic aftershave videos. Keep up the good work. Don't let the negative comments get to you. People who say those things are jealous.
Ken, as someone who had a 7” beard for a couple years I have some tips for avoiding the itch. 1. Use a few drops of beard oil after you wash your face. Beard hairs pull off the sebum oil from your skin which caused dryness which = itch 2. Stop using had shampoo and condition for your beard. These are meant for head hair which produces more sebum oil that face skin. Try an all natural soap for your face instead. They are slightly more expensive but if you only use for your face they last a long time and don’t remove all that oil that keeps your face hydrated. Hope this helps!

A great video as always Ken. I have very sensitive skin on my neck, which has always been hard to shave but I do like the Proraso cream and pre-shave too. Nivea is great and I also found an aftershave balm from L'oreal Men in a cedarwood scent. I've also started a razor collection, inspired by you of course. I've always been a history and antique buff and now, these are items that I can use. I recently picked up what I believe is a 1930's British Gillette 7 O'Clock open comb razor. It is aggressive for sure. I use the German Wilkinson Sword blades.

Catie’s Bubbles Le Nude, Sudsy Soapery has a scent free option as well as TOBS Organic Formula. There are many others, so you just have to do the research and ask the seller questions. Get samples before you pop on a full tub of soap or cream and try it in a dab behind your ear. The skin back there is very sensitive and will quickly react react if it irritates the skin. Great shave Ken!!! Whenever I go "sensitive" I either use my Gillette Atra, or I use my Gillette Black Tip with either an Astra SP blade or a Personna Red blade, with the full Proraso White line. And of course, the Nivea line is amazing as well. I just used the Nivea line yesterday for a nice, comfortable Sunday shave with my Gillette President. Anyway, I’m on day 8 WFH and the Governor has just directed us older folks and those with underlying issues to stay home until April 30. Since I fit both categories, I guess I’m now a prisoner in my own home. So keep making videos for the captive. I’m really looking forward to the next one.
For beard itch I use either Cremo Beard & Scruff Softener or Head & Shoulders or a combination of the two. Great video as always and I will have to try that shave soap.

this video was around the beginning of Covid. My contracts were all "temporarily suspended" and Verizon canned a BUNCH of us a few months later. I am 38, and I am an electronics engineer by both education and by trade. Even with the world falling apart around me, I will still walk away with at least 90,000 dollars in 2021. I am very proud of the victory. Last year made me sad though. :( So many damn funerals, I thought about blowing my brains out a few times, It got bad..... For all of you that are here right now, thank you for being here. You are more important and valuable than you know. Even to a stranger that will probably never meet you. Thank YOU, Ken! You kept the time in my head at bay, by giving me something that I care about to focus on.

Great shave Ken apart from the small nick that you got. They have not quarantined us here in Virginia but social distancing is being practiced and a lot of the places such as the US Post Office is still operation here in the US but they are NOT excepting anyone's signature and this also inlcuded UPS and FedEx. They call to see if anyone is home and then they tell you where they left it. A friend of mine went to Sam's Club with her husband and family and the shelves including the frozen food was nearly wiped out. Store have put a limit on 2 loaves of bread per customer which does not apply to me because I have a bread machine and can make a loaf when I need to. Gas was $1.95 per gallon and I didn't pay much attention while I was out today. They say the best thing you can do is to get both a Flu and Pneumonia shot because that's what the Coronavirus causes, severe Pneumonia. I would recommend blocking that dude because he's just starting crap.

I ended up going with Proraso white for the pre-shave and cream, but classic eucalyptus and menthol for the balm. I suppose half the fun is trying different products.

Great shave Ken!!! Whenever I go "sensitive" I either use my Gillette Atra, or I use my Gillette Black Tip with either an Astra SP blade or a Personna Red blade, with the full Proraso White line. And of course, the Nivea line is amazing as well. I just used the Nivea line yesterday for a nice, comfortable Sunday shave with my Gillette President. I hope you and your family stays safe with all of this craziness that's going on. This, too, shall pass!

Ken, great video. Ignore the trolls, you do need to support your local merchants. Unfortunately, no one here sells wet shaving products other than the puddly few you find at Wal Mart. Anyway, I’m on day 8 WFH and the Governor has just directed us older folks and those with underlying issues to stay home until April 30. Since I fit both categories, I guess I’m now a prisoner in my own home. So keep making videos for the captive. I’m really looking forward to the next one.
For beard itch I use either Cremo Beard & Scruff Softener or Head & Shoulders or a combination of the two. Great video as always and I will have to try that shave soap.

In India, the city where I am from, most of the municipal towns are under lockdown people are only allowed to go outside for necessities....business is suffering but what can be done...SAFETY FIRST....I think it is a really nice gesture that you helped out WCS Mr.Ken and Thanks for this sensitive skin shave video....really helps for people like me

this video was around the beginning of Covid. My contracts were all "temporarily suspended" and Verizon canned a BUNCH of us a few months later. I am 38, and I am an electronics engineer by both education and by trade. Even with the world falling apart around me, I will still walk away with at least 90,000 dollars in 2021. I am very proud of the victory. Last year made me sad though. :( So many damn funerals, I thought about blowing my brains out a few times, It got bad..... For all of you that are here right now, thank you for being here. You are more important and valuable than you know. Even to a stranger that will probably never meet you. Thank YOU, Ken! You kept the time in my head at bay, by giving me something that I care about to focus on.

Great shave Ken apart from the small nick that you got. They have not quarantined us here in Virginia but social distancing is being practiced and a lot of the places such as the US Post Office is still operation here in the US but they are NOT excepting anyone's signature and this also inlcuded UPS and FedEx. They call to see if anyone is home and then they tell you where they left it. A friend of mine went to Sam's Club with her husband and family and the shelves including the frozen food was nearly wiped out. Store have put a limit on 2 loaves of bread per customer which does not apply to me because I have a bread machine and can make a loaf when I need to. Gas was $1.95 per gallon and I didn't pay much attention while I was out today. They say the best thing you can do is to get both a Flu and Pneumonia shot because that's what the Coronavirus causes, severe Pneumonia. I would recommend blocking that dude because he's just starting crap.

The only good thing about the COVID-19 outbreak here in the UK is that it has given me the opportunity to start DE shaving. Really enjoying it and your channel. Hoping for a EJ 3ONE6 to be delivered today.
I ended up going with Proraso white for the pre-shave and cream, but classic eucalyptus and menthol for the balm. I suppose half the fun is trying different products.
