I have the Supply razor and love it. You can’t go wrong with Proraso. I use it all the time.
I’ve never used the Proraso soap, but I do use their green aftershave. Love the scent and it isn’t overpowering.

Now that breath spray is a blast from the past! I had no idea that it was still made lol. I remember never leaving home without it.
If you like the proraso aftershave, you should try DAPPER DAN GREEN aftershave. I‘m using the hair tonic too. For hot summer days there is nothing better than a big splash of it. Stay Safe Ken.
I work in a hospital. All employees are required to wear a mask. When we show up for work we get a mask and wintergreen lifesaver. They keep a cardboard box, full of lifesavers, beside the masks so we can get as many as we want. I usually grab a handful. Works great. Thanks for the video, I've been eyeing that supply razor.

A great video, Ken. I shave with an Eversharp Hydromagic injector razor that is as old as I am. Which makes it older than dirt. :) The Supply blades do not play well with the Eversharp. When attempting to load the razor, the razor head blocks the blade. 0 and 3 with blades. The Supply razor does look neat, so, since I already have the blades ... Proraso Green soap is superb, and the aftershave is best (for me) at the work place where a bolder, lingering scent isn't appropriate.

I got my Supply razor two weeks ago, I like it. Have used both the sensitive and aggressive settings. Will be switching to setting two soon. Gives a nice shave in two passes. Another nice video, thanks Ken.
Great set up Ken! I received a Supply Co in the Classic Matte for Christmas and I love ❤️ it. I use it and my 1970 Schick Injector for all my head shaves. It’s also my face shave rotation. I primarily use the Schick Blades I usually buy on eBay.
1 Dot: Daily shaver which I don’t do. I’m a 2x per week.
2 Dot: 2-3 days growth.
3 Dot: 3 plus days growth. Lots of blade exposure.

It appears that Supply is now selling new injector blades made to their specs. It would be interesting to see/hear your thoughts on their new blade in the Supply razor but more interestingly in a Schick (or other brand) injector razor. Thank you.
And since we're talking about injector razors, maybe we can get your thoughts on Japanese injector blades from Schick (Single, Twin and Proline B-20) in Schick and Supply razors.

Great video, Ken. The Supply razor is great. Always enjoy using single edge injector razors from Schick, the Supply injector model with the 3 plates has taken it to an even higher level of performance. Good pairing with the solid performing Proraso Green soap and aftershave splash. Refreshing!

I remember my dad's Schick Dial Adjustable Injector Razor with the black plastic handle.
Great shave Ken💈💈 Proraso Green is one of the all time greats, performance and scent with just the right amount of menthol too. Have the red but I haven't tried the white or blue, bet they're good as well. Nice razor, went to get one a while back but all sold out, seems to be the norm. Lifted the lockdown here in NM to some extent with restrictions. Bet "Numbskull Newsom" will be in court soon, I feel for you. Stay safe. Enjoy!

Ken, try this...instead of spraying your clothes with your favorite cologne, spray the inside of your mask with 2 or 3 sprays. The scent last all day, and no coffee breath! Works for me, and I get compliments on my cologne even more. 😂

Great shave. I already found the Wilkinson Swords to be my go-to blades after trying out only two brands. I might try out other brands at some point, but so far, all brands I’ve tried have worked for me
Proraso Green was my first shaving soap. As masks go Ive been wearing bandannas and reusing/washing them instead of wearing a mask then throwing away after one use. Other good news is the supermarket I go to has a full aisle of TP and paper towels for the first time Ive seen in months so that seems to be a good sign.

Great video Ken, I have all the proraso shave soaps and creams and the green preshave, just have not tried the aftershave. Most reviews say it hardly lasts long scent wise, so was not sure it was worth the cost...might have to give it a try now...

Aidan Phillipson safari is one of the best! They used to make an after shave as well you can still purchase on eBay.

@kensurfs I know this may be a bit pricey but I found the Floris 89 shaving soap in a wooden bowl on Amazon for $55 which looks very nice. Floris 89 is like the James bond cologne or whatever you may call it. If you will try it that would be awesome but you don't have to if you don't want to I would understand since it's a little pricey but I love your videos as always. Stay away from the haters! :)

Crazy, growing up in the 80's, my dad used an injector razor. the branding had rubbed off, but i want to say it was a Schick. Wish i knew what happened to that old thing.

Good video ken 👍 have you tried the proraso green soap in the tube ? I think it makes a much better quality lather than the one in the tub ... I find the one in the tub dries really quickly on the face ... Could just be my lathering technique using harder soaps tho 😂

Have you ever reloaded an injector magazine with a lightly used blade (so it can be used again with one of your less (or more) aggressive Supply SE Injector Razor plates)? It would be nice to see how the other plates work for you (and maybe later describe how the 3-dot plate compares with your other aggressive DE razors). But I really wonder why the Proraso green soap, balm (and to a degree pre-shave) all smell similarly, but all smell unrefined in comparison to the Proraso green aftershave. Perhaps it was more cost-effective for Proraso to use lower-quality scent components for the soap, balm and pre-shave.

This is my only gripe with wet shaving, which I love; as this is the only shaving see that can handle my extremely coarse whiskers.
However, trying things, even recommended here, it's a crap shoot. Great reviews on other sites such as Amazon, other RUclipsrs, get it, and it's either awful or fantastic. There seems to be no consistency in manufacturing, especially in the small companies.
My regular shave for a while now has been:
- a handed down razor; Pomco Diagonal (from Chicago)
- Feather DE blades, platinum coated
- Cremco Sandalwood in a tube, that I lather in my cup with a brush
I bought Bull & Bell from a recommendation (I think here, horrid stuff). Pucks from as local guy, truly useless shave soap, but he does good bath soap.
I have a pretty good sized order coming in from Cremco that should be here any time now. Just like you're using a national brand today, Prison; seems these are the ones that have quality control in keeping consistent products going out the door.
This is sad, as I like spring small businesses. However, I need to get m my money's worth of use from what I buy.
I just ordered for the first time and received the poroso green preshave, shave soap and aftershave, i didnt realize there was a cream vs a liquid and ended up with the cream kind. I was expecting mint scent and it has a very strange smell to it like grass? The soap smells good but the preshave and aftershave cream are strange. i tried a bit of the cream after shave and i am not sure i can tolerate it, but i am going to give it a shot to see if it helps with my razor burn (which I am not quite getting the hang of avoiding yet).
Edit: After using it, the smell is more pleasant and I love the soothing sensation it provides. I have constant razor burn. I am finding that its easier to shave with less soap and feel my hair as I shave with my hand to see how it feels and slide it bakck over but I am only doing that after at least 2 passes.
I just had the best shave ever with that combo with my viking chieftain and wilkenson sword

I love the scent of the Proraso soaps but the lather they produce just dont seem to do well for aggressive razors. I usually just apply the PAA cube and it gives me the prefromance of a CK6 soap with the awesome scent of a Proraso soap a winning combination for me.

I've had bad luck several times with shave soap/pre shave on Amazon. Ive bought 3 things that are very old and completely dried out. I wouldn't get shave soap from them anymore.

I wish amazon got things to me that fast but it takes at least a week for them to get things to Hawaii. I have been working with my wife on adding a shaving video to her Japanese RUclips channel( my wife is Japanese) She thinks that having a gaijin( non Japanese) shave and give tips on shaving might get a few views. It will be a little while but its fun.

It’s me again the 15 year old boy who sent you the request Email about doing a review of Aqua Velva Musk. I would like to kindly ask you if you could compare it to the vintage Aqua Velva Musk if you still have it when you do the video, because I remember in one of your videos you used your father’s Aqua Velva travel kit with the little bottles of Ice Blue and Musk, so if you still have the Musk, could you please compare the modern version to the vintage one to see if the scent is changed or it’s still the same as it was back in the days.
Hey Ken is there a benefit to the cologne style aftershave vs a cream or balm, or is it just preference
The cream or balm helps keep the skin from drying out but I find the liquid scent lasts longer
The coffee breath is the worst lol, I've been using Apple Cider Vinegar to kill off any excess bacteria. My biggest gripe with the masks is my glasses fogging up, but it's such a small price to pay.

I'd like to ask for your help, I just saw, I guess, a new product line from Proraso for the beard, would you know something about it or recommend it? Also, I've seen many people saying the blue line has a great smell.... would you recommend it over the green? This is extremely important for me, I'm from Peru and there is no way to get Proraso here, so I'll ask it from Amazon... I have only one shot so I gotta make it count...Thanks in advance!

I love Proraso. I just tried Proraso “blue” for the first tome. Love it! I tried the green preshave before using the green soap one time and it was so cold it made me cry. Do you happen to know if the “sensitive” version of their preshave has menthol?
Yes the white series contain menthol

It has the same styling and color of the Vintage Personna injector. Only the head part is modified...a lot. I may look into this one. If I end up buying one, I have to hide it from my GF, she going to kill me- ( I own over 20 razors.) " You Bought ANOTHER one..What is wrong with you ? ! " ( She does not understand)
I have to wear a mask at work and shortly after that started, I started shaving everyday because it was irritating me so bad
