What a fitting song to not only fit the 80’s vibe, but to also describe the situation that Mike is going through with the ghost kids. A great song choice for a sure to become classic of a movie. ❤
Only way the movie becomes classic is because how laughably bad it is lmao, and because it’s adapted to probably the most influential indie-horror stories/ game ever. But the writing in the movie was REALLY bad, I’m not even hating I enjoyed the movie but it was so predictable and man the shit that came outta Vanessa’s mouth was so cringy it hurt😭😭
@@tylerdavis3Well yeah, it's a FNAF movie. The story of the games is already fucking bad but it's a fun kind of bad. The movie captured that essence perfectly.
@@nikiardo I disagree. The writing in the games wasn’t bad it was just hard as shit to figure anything out, the movie was the complete opposite it was the most predictable cliche thing ever. I told my brother when we were in the theatre before he brought his sister that she’s gonna meet them and they’re gonna get in a circle and kumbaya, then she’s gonna draw the guy that stole his brother, and it was just afton, the phone guy. @@_The.Queen.In.Pink_ While I do agree for the most part it being predictable isn’t an issue, movie movies do the same thing so most are predictable, the writing was legitimately horrible though. Like I said I enjoyed it, honestly it probably was better doing this because it was funny how bad the writing was, it would’ve had to be written really well for it to have been more entertaining than laughing at it, if that makes any sense.
One thing that I've noticed that I REALLY love about the movies they make lately is that they at least make an attempt to give the Younger generation a glimpse of the music made back in the 80's and 90's while also giving the Older generation a chance to have a nostalgic call back to the music
The drummer is incredible on this song. The timing with the guitar work gives it a one of a kind sound that never fades as time passes on. As Dick Clark would say "It has a steady beat and you can dance to it." Talking in your sleep, was released 41 years ago, this year.
This song hit the charts in 1983, the same year as the bite of '83. The lyrics and the beat fits FNAF like a glove. Even the Rock-afire Explosion, the animatronic band from Showbiz Pizza Place, played this song back in the days, too. I found footage as late as 1984 and up to 2019.
This fit so perfectly in the movie “I hear the secrets that you keep while you’re talking in your sleep” referencing them being in his dream and knowing everything that’s happening and the “ you tell me that you want me, you tell me that you love me, you tell me that you need me” referencing both him wanting Garrett back and them wanting Abby. About 23 years ago I took a job at an old 80s restaurant. Since no one else was there as late as me I usually slept most of the shift but one night this song came on. It woke me up, so I shut off the power faster than that stupid red robot could run to the door.
Hey I’ve got some really great news to share with you, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross and resurrected on the third day so you may all have eternal life. If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. If anyone tells you that Jesus isn’t the only way, they are lying to you and they don’t care about your future.
Ah, this song takes me back to my childhood in the 80s. I remember when the band played this song at Freddy Fazbear’s. Loved that place as a kid. Wonder what happened to it.
I heard they're building a new "horror" attraction based on some type of scary rumors the pizzeria faced back then, weird stuff, but atleast we're seeing the gang again!
Supposedly somebody murdered 5 kids and stuffed them inside the animatronics, which already seems fake to me seeing as there was only 4 animatronics back then.
Yep 80s were the best era. Nothing today was as edgy and cool as BILLY IDOL, DURAN DURAN, INXS, TEARS FOR FEARS,,DEPECHE MODE, BERLIN etc and all of the new wave acts. The 90s sucked and mtv got rid of good music around then.
I was fortunate to meet Mr. Parker several times at my instructor's dojo and in the local tournaments during late 70s into the early 80s. The man had a gift that was contagious. Rest in peace 🕊️
When on my days off, I wake up and the sun is shining, I open all the curtains in my house and put on 80’s music that can be heard throughout the house. The feeling I get is so incredible.
It’s 2023 and this song still Rocks! I can’t get enough of it. It’s one of my all time favorites. Especially knowing how much my Mom loved it as well. And the way Jimmy Marino played the drums in this song is bad ass. It’s such a perfect blend with the guitar sounds. I’m so fortunate to have experienced the 80’s music. May we never forget and continue listen as if we are still there. 🥰
Born 1977 and i remember my mom listening to this song as a kid in the 80s. Just found this song again today after all these years. I am choked up listening to it, reminding me of the wonderful memories, a time when I was young, with no worries, feeling loved and protected, when life was simple as a 7-9 year old
Join the club...when the world felt new, fresh and exciting. But as John Cougar sang in another hit video we watched in the same era "oh yeah life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone"
It was on a nostalgia radio station here in Belgium yesterday, not heard for years. I didn't know who it was until I checked the radio playlist a few minutes ago. Yeah, love it. Really chunky.
Re-visiting this song after watching the FNAF movie. I enjoyed hearing this song throughout the film, and I like how the song's lyrics ended up relating to the story in a way. Great music choice.
The drummer keeps the whole thing together. It's always the drummer who's in the background but he just keeps the whole thing together and running and on the beat. He is the hardest working member of the whole group.
Drumming and Drummers are the platform and rock bed ( no pun intended ) of Rock n Roll. Drummers know everything about the band and the music. Drummers are the eyes and ears of the band. I would know, being a Drummer. Every cymbal crash, every opening of the high hat and every tom fill is relevant and significant.
this was lost. Now it is found again. Summer of 83 No secrets back then we lived at the beach at age 18 and paid our own way which was consistent with my entire life year after year. NO ""MaMMy"" didn't pay my way till I was 30! Say what you will but "no one" supported me in adulthood. Never mooched off of anyone we worked & hustled up everything we had! We learned while we earned! I have a Brother who has been supported by his mother well into his 40s and pays all the bills as he couldn't make it on his own just like my spammy kid sister. Thankfully we have nothing to do with them anymore & it is vice/versa for my half-ass siblings! Need them like a hole in my f=head. Only One solid Brother out of the lot as He has supported himself throughout his entire adul life.
I've had multiple people throughout my life try to tell me that this wasn't a good song. I'm thinking to myself do you even have ears?!? The music is to die for. It just about puts a spell on you. This song will forever be an 80's classic!
It's catchy. It probably puts a negative frequency in your personal frequency if that's what you mean by spell. It might even have double meanings. When they say it's not good they mean, it's not inspiring. It's not right.
Always a pleasure listening to this song. I grew up in the 80's, and I remember this song and band, very well. I actually saw them play at Massey Hall, in 1984. Good times!
MTV had this song on heavy rotation. I remember getting home from school and turning TV on to my station and they had this video on all the time. Great memories. All those who were there to witness MTV , you are a Legend!
Who is here in 2024?? LOVED this back in the day! I was so in love with Wally Palmar. My 14 year old self never gave a thought that he was almost old enough to be my dad...LOL! When this came on MTV, you RAN for the TV! Bring back the 80's!!
I was saying that when I watched the movie like when Mike snucked through tha vent and popped out.now freddy didn't see him cause he was turned around but Bonnie had a clear view and should've saw mike coming out the vent.
I love this song. One of the best songs of the 80's. The 80's had great music. Of course I am a 80's child. I listen to 80's music all the time. Bless the Lord.

One of the absolutely classic 80s tunes. Legendary.

OMG lol
I heard they're building a new "horror" attraction based on some type of scary rumors the pizzeria faced back then, weird stuff, but atleast we're seeing the gang again!
my cousin told me one time that the chicken robot smelled funky
@@j.s2k that’s funny because my favourite animatronic foxy also smelled weird and I smelled mucus it was quite disgusting
Supposedly somebody murdered 5 kids and stuffed them inside the animatronics, which already seems fake to me seeing as there was only 4 animatronics back then.
the 80s will always have the best music.
You mean the 90s
Started in the 60’s, then 🚀!!
60s-90s definitely the best
80s it peaked though with metallica and others
Fuck yes!!!😅
I was fortunate to meet Mr. Parker several times at my instructor's dojo and in the local tournaments during late 70s into the early 80s.

80's music is the greatest ..
Born 1977 and i remember my mom listening to this song as a kid in the 80s. Just found this song again today after all these years. I am choked up listening to it, reminding me of the wonderful memories, a time when I was young, with no worries, feeling loved and protected, when life was simple as a 7-9 year old
Beautiful song and the drummer and bass guitar is out of sight. It's so captivating you have too play it over An over.
Join the club...when the world felt new, fresh and exciting. But as John Cougar sang in another hit video we watched in the same era "oh yeah life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone"
77 I was 7 years old n I love this tune it's magnificent
I was born in 1977 and this was my favourite song as a7/9 year old too
It was on a nostalgia radio station here in Belgium yesterday, not heard for years. I didn't know who it was until I checked the radio playlist a few minutes ago.
Yeah, love it. Really chunky.
The 80's absolutely unmatched miss this music!!!!!!
The drummer is Jimmy Marinos. He is talented and very charismatic
He uses open handed drumming.
That's how to really get the back beat out on the snare
The rhythm section is always where it's at, the bass & the drums...my favorite!
The drummer is like the catcher of a baseball team...

Man, 80s music just hits different then today’s music
Long time 80s music fan, and long time fnaf fan, thank you Scott and the Romantics for a good childhood
The bass line hits your soul like a lightning bolt.
And the the drums like a thunderclap.
Best comment here.
Their bass player was cool. He had John Taylor (Duran Duran) swag. This was a my favourite album of theirs.
True that!
Dude no joke. That low note just BOOMS my car. It’s amazing.
Loved that rollicking beat. Easily one of my favorite songs from the early’80’s.
this was lost.

This song will forever be an 80's classic!
this is a pretty cool song
You dont need that kind of negativity in ur life.
Turn them down and this song up!! 🤘😎
No offense intended, but those multiple people are full of sh*t........
It's catchy. It probably puts a negative frequency in your personal frequency if that's what you mean by spell. It might even have double meanings. When they say it's not good they mean, it's not inspiring. It's not right.
I think it's an even better tune than their other overplayed hit (you know which one I mean)
Always a pleasure listening to this song. I grew up in the 80's, and I remember this song and band, very well. I actually saw them play at Massey Hall, in 1984. Good times!
