    In this video I am showing you how to make a Li-ion 18650 Battery charger with Charging Discharging and Battery level monitoring features including every single step of making. Using this Battery Charger, you can check and identify 18650 battery capacity, whether it is Good one or bad one.
    For this project I have used following parts:
    1) 18650 Battery x4
    2) TP4056 Charger module with discharge protection X4
    3) 18650 Battery Holder (4 pcs Battery Holder) x1
    4) Three Position 6 pin ON/OFF switches x4
    5) LED 3V Red, Green & Blue x4each
    6) LED panel Voltmeter 3wires x4
    7) 10W 10R Ceramic Capacitors x4
    8) 12AWG & 18AWG wires
    9) Heat shrink tubes (heat Sleeves)
    10) 1KOhms Resistors x4
    11) PCB spacers 1inch with nuts x6
    12) Acrylic Sheet
    13) 5V 3-4A charger or power supply
    14) Cable ties
    15) Piece of Wood
    16) Epoxy Glue / Glue Gun with Sticks
    17) Color Spray (Juki Grey)
    *Dimensions of the Panel available at 2.52 in the video.
    *Circuit Diagram of the Battery Charger available at 11.57 at the video.
    Note: Use 5V 4A Charger to reduce excessive charging time.

    Those ceramic 10ohm/10watt resistors will get *very* hot - I would be seriously concerned about all the wiring that's touching or close to them melting - fire hazard.

      It seems that all this guy does, is exactly copy from others, albeit a fair while later. He also copied the ATZ power supply diectly from another RUclipsr. Rather poor when he doesn't bother to give credit.

      True, exactly the same project!! And not the only project similar with Sorin's channel....
      Ok the project itself is great, unfortunatly there is no explanation at all here, so better go with Sorin's version which is explaned nicely, and btw, Sorin does its best to answer to questions, if you intend to realise his projects ;)

    Good project and design but you did not adjust the trimpot on the back of the small LED displays to accurately display the correct voltage. Hooking them up to a multimeter at the same time on one of the batteries and adjusting the display to the multimeter reading would be fine. For anyone new to LI-ON batteries, charging them above 4.20 volts can be dangerous and degrade your battery life.

    At what rate does it discharge

    • @LahisTechLT
      @LahisTechLT  5 лет назад +1

      I've used 10ohm resistors to discharge the cells. so the discharge current will depend on the battery voltage. I=U/R. when the battery is fully charged, the discharge current will be: 4.2V/10ohm=420mA.

    • @ModifywithManoj
      @ModifywithManoj 5 лет назад

      @@LahisTechLT this will be a calculative value. The total discharge current measured through imax b6 and yours diy will be approximate or large variation ?
