People are so critical but this is literally a cheap and easy solution to charging which is done more or less the same exact way in common electronics using lithium cells. I've used these modules many times and they work just fine for being so inexpensive. Whether it's a circuit pull or a bought module it's all about the same tier of charging circuitry. Some modules can be adjusted via board resistors so the cutoff is more suitable for higher or lower capacity but one module per 18650 cell is good at 1A. In the absence of a 5V 5A supply, buck modules are also cheap enough to implement for use with inputs like laptop chargers. If people wanted to get 'extra' with it they could also add 4 individual digital voltage display modules which are also inexpensive, as well as a quality USB output module on one or all of the cells for use from battery only. I've noticed with a lot of those charging modules they also implement some form of safety in that they will not attempt to push more than 100mA or so into a 'dangerously' low cell until the voltage has risen enough over time. TP4056 is easy enough to find for cheap on ebay.
Good workmanship, you should type the charger model number TP4056 Also mark + on battery holder because li-ion batteries have no polarity written on it
This is what I need for a project, I need 3 batteries and I think that charging them like this is the best option, but I need them in parallel so that they provide the current I need. The idea is that this device remains permanently inside the lamp I am making, but I don't see how to solve that in the end, once they are charged, use them in parallel
The TP4056 module is designed to charge a single 3.7V lithium battery at a time. It provides a safe charging current (typically 1A) and has overcharge, over-discharge, and short-circuit protection for one battery. with longer charging times, you can use one TP4056 module to charge the four batteries in parallel. However, for better safety and charging efficiency, it's recommended to use four separate TP4056 modules, especially if the batteries are not perfectly balanced.
If you charge more than one cell per charge circuit, it will "finish" charging as soon as the first cell in the group is full. Not only would you have 1 fully charged and 3 partially charged batteries, but you also wouldn't know which one is the full cell verses the undercharged cells.
I think its better to use 4amp charger to suppy the 4 module.. The current is equally devided on eachmodule on your design so if 1 module can draw out max 1amp current its better to use 4amp supply since 4 modules are in parallel current will be divided less current supplied on a module will increase charging time. Hence the charging time of one battery at a time and 4 at a time will still be the same. But its a nice project congratulation.
Good video. I’m actually keen to know about the small electric drill that you made. Where did you get the Chuck from? Is the length of the motor spindle long enough to accept the chuck? Please let me know. Thanks.
Thanks. I know those can be bought and assembled from an Electronics Market, as you say. But need to know what Electronics Market, where is it available and a link to point the Electronics Market. Is it from Ali Express or Bang-good? Please let me know from where you bough it. Thanks and best wishes.
I get my parts from the Geek app. It's part of Wish and most of the items ship from China. So delivery to the US is typically 6 to 8 weeks. I think you'll like 4PCS Micro Motor Drill Chucks Clamping 0.3-4mm Taper Mounted Drill Chuck With Chuck Key 3.17mm Brass. geek.wish.com/share/4713kzlmtd You can actually get everything from this video from there, charge modules, pin headers, cell holders, project box, even wire if you need it.
I don't understand the purpose of the box here. It's always better, I guess. Maybe 2 boxes glued together and then hide (on the other side) the charger circuits at least. With some peak windows (some transparent plastic ding-nots) you can see the LEDs. My imaginary version would be to open the charger and have a bigger box. A bottom compartment for the open charger and then the batteries lowered into "second floor" and a lid. The purpose of it would be to transport it on a travel or a move. The top lid could be open when using it and maybe have ventilation and ventilation holes. For beauty, print out a photo of the charger specs and glue the paper on the side of your DIY box with any added info you find cool or informative. Just some ideas... My constructs are horrible and after 4-10 versions it's starting "to be something" and I get better at it over time. Recently I started to construct RC stuff and tiny micro controller "computers" with various parts, so I get more picky than most. A bit of wire management is really practical.
Per module you need 1amp. If you want to charge 4 batteries at a time you need 4amp min but if you want 2 battery at a time then you can use 2amp power supply
charging by 5volt batteries connected in parallae is the best way than charging them using in series and bms.because for three battery requie 12.6 volt charger witch is rather difficult to get also each batery is charged by 0.37 %of its current capacity witch is suitable for tp4056 providing 1000ma current.ut for charging more than 2600ma battery this method will work?
Ciao Easy Tech. Complimenti. Iscrizione e Like doverosamente fatti. Buon Anno. Antonio dall'Italia. (Legnano-Mi)

Why do you use 4 charging modules? Would not 1 be enough?
Thank you for the video!
No. Because 1module can charge with max 1 amp current. If we use 4 battery it will be take long time. So here we use 4module for 4 amp current
If you charge more than one cell per charge circuit, it will "finish" charging as soon as the first cell in the group is full. Not only would you have 1 fully charged and 3 partially charged batteries, but you also wouldn't know which one is the full cell verses the undercharged cells.
@@michaelgasperik4319 Every module has a overcharge protector, so which ever battery charges first, it stops receiving power....
