- They land on Barton 4 and head to the base where we see droids moving cargo and only 3 clones left. He says they waited 36 days for him to come in and help, and there’s a ton of attitude from Nolan. The guy is so rude and callous. The clone commander says his boys all died here, and i tihnk it’s from the harsh conditions without proper care and aid from the empire.
They know nothing about what’s in the cargo, which tells me that for the year they’ve been at this outpost, they aren’t trusted or told anything. The treatment from the empire is horrible.
there’s a heist going on against the empire and crosshair tracks one of them down with Mayday. They enter a cavern that was dug to sneak past their defences. Two more clones pass away and Mayday pays his respects. As Nolan walks in and berrates them for just standing around. In these super harsh conditions and lack of empathy or care, making the odds all the more against them. It’s very clear Palpatine wants to move on from clones and wipe them out as much as possible. This can be seen by their lack of food or care as they began to starve unitl crosshair and nolan showed up.
They both navigate through the tunnel and make small talk, as crosshair steps on a land mine and Mayday answer his question about what clone force he’s from, and when asked what happened ot 99…Crosshair tells Mayday they’re all dead. We see the hesitation in crosshair’s voice as we can tell he’s sad or something is going on in his head. I believe this is the episode of Crosshair’s redemption arc. They come across the thieves and take em out together, making a fantastic team. I really think Crosshair will turn back to join his brothers only to have someone sacrifice himself for him.
they find some plastoid armor from the storm troopers, and see how much nicer quality and shape it is, proving that the empire uses the cheapest armor and equipment for them, but gives the best to their new stormtroopers.
As they fall under an avalanche, Crosshair pulls Mayday out of it, and i gotta say from this scene on the animation just took a different leap. It looked like something from Toy Story but even better with how fluid it was.
Crosshair pull Mayday out of the snow as he’s unconscious and gives him his helmet to help keep him warm and to help him breathe. As we know trooper helmets can survive in many harsh circumstances, weathers and toxic gases.
Crosshair carries Mayday back to the base as they finally get to the lt Nolan and collapse. Nolan just stands there and denies them a medic, saying they failed their mission, it would be a waste of the empire’s resources to help them. This guy is so horrible. As Mayday dies on the scene, Crosshair is on his knees, exhausted, as he’s ordered to get back to work from this Nolan guy, tell him clones are expendable, which is what the clones said to plo koon, where he told them, not to me.
The clones were raised to think they were to just follow orders, in which they were of course, but they had to practice immensely and be trained. As Crosshair sees the bird from above, we know it’s a space vulture, but it sounds like Morai the light side embodiment of the dark side from star wars clone wars who transferred her energy into Ahsoka to save her. I think whenever she pops up, it’s to instill the light in others, and funny enough this was the moment Crosshair cracked. When he saw how free the bird was. Morai i think comes in diferent ways, and I believe this could have been one of them, as little sense as it makes for it to show up for crosshair. but perhaps there’s something bigger at place…what qui gon would call fate or destiny or the will of the force.
Crosshair feels the rage and shoots the lt point blank and then collapses. Only to be woken up on what I think is mount tantiss by a female clone doctor running tests on him, as they wait for the doctor. This of course is the same doctor as the last episode, who specializes in Cloning. I think they will reprogram crosshair. I think they’re going to have him there on Tantiss and then Omega will be captured, only to find Crosshair is there too. She’ll want to save him, and so Tech will probaly be sacrificed for the life of his brother. They’re always now showing so much more of him with Omega and I think it’s to develop his character and human side so we bond more with him, making his death that much more impactful.

Give Dee Bradley Baker a god damn award for this and everything else he has done for star wars, my god he took one voice and has given us so many heroes and legends from this one voice and different personalities.
This episode hurt to watch it happen and it was beautiful to watch.
I agree his performance is on a whole new level of performance he definitely deserves award
YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! Dee Bradley Baker is an Absolute Legend and He deserves all The Awards for His Incredible Portrayal of Every Single Clone!!!
That Lieutenant is right up there with Pong Krell as the biggest as*holes in the Star Wars galaxy. And honestly, he's probably worse because at least Krell was cool. Glad he got his just deserts.
Music and backround sounds was fantastic on this episode
It's very evident that Crosshair is to be used just as a bait or a link to capture Omega, otherwise he would be "expendable" after doing what he did.
Not even going to lie this might have been the greatest piece of Star Wars we have ever gotten. Ever.
Prediction for the last two episodes.
Crosshair will be turned into one of the early Dark Troopers. I can't remember where or when, but someone mentioned that the last real problem with the early Dark Troopers was their humanity. That's what leads to the design change to droids. Crosshair will be turned into one of these early ones and will fight the Bad Batch and nearly kill them or even kill one of them and then snap out of it. Whether Crosshair will die or not, I can't say. But I think he'll be an early Dark Trooper.
There's gotta be something really bad on the horizon so the remaining Clones don't become soldiers for the Rebel Alliance. With Clones going AWOL and turning on the Imperials, the Empire is going to likely put its foot down hard soon. Hopefully S3 is open war between the Clones and the Empire.
Okay, I enjoyed the breakdown, though I have to disagree with one part (the ice vulture hovering scene, when comparing it to Morai). Earlier in the episode, Mayday explained to Crosshair the dangers of scouting on his own, stating that if the rebels didn't get him, then the environment would, and that the vultures would claim their prize. It was when the lieutenant was ordering that Mayday be left out in the elements, that the vulture's shadow came overhead (which I thought was a great shot to have the detail come back from the beginning of the episode to what would become a climax moment of the episode). Crosshair's view went upwards, viewing the vulture circling, recalling what Mayday said of the vultures claiming the bodies of the dead; and that, along with harsh words from the lieutenant that he and his brothers are expendable to the Empire and given no regard. It was at that moment that Crosshair's place in the Empire finally seeped into his mind causing him to act out against his tormentor, i.e. Lt. Nolan.
This is just how I saw the scene, and what I felt the weight of it being. Now, could I be wrong, sure, as this is just my opinion. It was definitely an internal strife episode for the clones, and how they are being pushed out of service from the Empire. I look forward to the rest of the season, as do many other fans.
One thing I think you might be missing. They clearly know who omega is and need her to get what the empire wants and crosshair is the only link the empire has to the bad batch so maybe he’s not there for cloning but for omega
I have a feeling that crosshair will be the base for death troopers
Maybe the clone rebellion leads to the first public look at Lord Vader. The Bad Batch, Echo and Rex would be part of the past that Vader could struggle with destroying but he destroys all but Rex (cause Rebels the show exists). But just a possible theory
3:10 he didn’t say they were all dead. He said they were gone.
What i loved about Nolan's death was that Cross-hair got his attention BEFORE shooting him; he wanted to make his contempt for him crystal clear. It was also neat hearing Crispin Freeman in this, especially since we also heard Yuri Lowenthal two episodes prior.
Gotta have the uchiha brothers
Bruh I was making jokes about Benni seeming like Ben 10, I didn't even realize it was the same voice actor
I agree. It's also really in stark contrast to how snipers typically takedown their enemies. This was very personal for Crosshair
Who did Yuri play in the Bad Batch?
@@ericbreese3071 Yuri played the main thief kid and all the other minor ones too.
I felt so sorry for Crosshair watching this. He found someone that was not biased towards him and even risked his live to save him. But in the end Crosshair could not save the life of his friend.
I like your comment and all, but you need to be out here finding the One Piece not commenting on RUclips.

@@ephgm xam's profile picture is I believe Luffy from one piece, so it was just a reference to the show cause I think he's the main character

The one pieceeeeeee is real can we get much higher so high
This is my favourite episode yet, the episode featuring Cody is a close second but this just overtakes it as it finally feels like we’re leading up to something good this season
I agree. This episode was one of my favourite animated episodes of Star Wars ever including rebels and clone wars etc (top 20 episodes probably) incredible writing
Yeah, th Crosshair arc has been the best thing so far this season
@James Arnold say what you want about Attack of the Clones but it did one amazing thing which is give us the clones, which lead to Revenge of the Sith, Clone Wars, Bad Batch and all other great clone moments.
exactly what im saying
@James Arnold that’s true but they didn’t get shown off much. They didn’t have many lines at all.
I believe it should be mentioned what Crosshair and Mayday said to each other when they came across the dead raiders body. Crosshair said “No point in carrying dead weight” while Mayday was confused on why the raiders comrades would leave him behind. Later on when Crosshair stepped on the mine, Mayday mentions how he wouldn’t want to carry Crosshair’s body back to the base, implying he would take his comrade even if he was dead, the opposite of what Crosshair said. However, later on in the episode, when Mayday tells Crosshair to go on without him as he is dying, Crosshair decides to stay and help his brother. Big change in heart in my opinion right there for Crosshair.
Yeah the dialogue in this show is just incredible
It all felt like a 60 min show because of how deep everything was
Well said
They repeated it multiple times. I doubt anyone actually watching wouldn't catch that. Obviously Crosshair changed in this episode. His programming is wearing off or being overwritten by his experiences. But yes it was incredibly well done.
Tt@@maddoxcindy5017To ttake the timis e ⏲️
I was hoping Crosshair would punch that Lieutenant, but that was *MUCH* better.
I hoped that he would shoot Nolan, and damn, seeing that actually happen was absolutely beautiful
Agreed
For me the most obvious thing that he was gonna to kill him. I would’ve agree with you if he didn’t disrespected the clones at beginning of the episode
I knew it would end like this.
I was hoping he would take his sniper rifle and somehow blast the luitenant across the platform
As a soldier in the Army, Nolan made my blood boil and he got what he deserved. Goes to show how talented Crispin Freeman is. You can fall in love with his roles like Itachi, to absolutely hating Nolan. Truly an amazingly talented voice actor. And cannot forget to appreciate the writers for his characters too
Was confused on why you mentioned Itachi, so I searched it up. I didn’t watch Naruto in dub but what are the chances that two completely unrelated characters from two shows that I watch have the same voice actor. And agreed that Lieutenant deserved every bit of it.
I didnt even realize he also voiced itachi, I knew he sounded familiar
Kirei Kotomine played Nolan? Damn that is insane. The man plays villains we love and villains we hate.
Who Crispin Freeman
Crosshair deserves an Oscar for his performance.
Sadly it’s an animation though
If only the oscars and emmys took animation as a serious medium.
Isaac
@@davejordan267 so do we give animated characters their own Oscars in an ideal world? 💀
Give credit the animators not the actual character lmao
I interpreted that scene with the bird as Crosshair not going to leave his brother behind to be scavenged... The lieutenant told Crosshair to leave Mayday, but he wasn't going to do that.
I agree
Same
Same
I did wonder what the Eagle meant. Maybe like a sign. To set himself free. From his anger. And the empire ..
Maybe a lesson for us too. To set yourself free of the shackles ..
Definitely. there's truthfully no symbolism outside of Crosshair not wanting his friend to get eaten.
When Crosshair shot that A-hole I screamed with joy.
I hope to see a rescue mission to retrieve our wayward Clone Trooper.
Lieutenant was asking for it the entire episode.
I think the empire will use crosshair to draw out the bad batch to get to omega
@@dwaynegee8435 this seems as a reasonable scenario
@@dwaynegee8435 or a test subject for the dark trooper template
This was by far the most realistic episode, and I legit had my eyes watering at maydays death.
This episode was not as much for kids as the rest
@@Blueninja2026 Truth
I don’t think that was the light side bird. I think that was just the ice vulture from earlier on in the episode. Mayday said, “you got to admire them, they survive”. After all crosshair went through, and then being told to “leave him”, he knew that mayday would just be food for the ice vulture. That image, I believe, is what finally got him to turn. The fact that Mayday did everything he was told, was a “good soldier” to the core, and the empire still would have left him for the carrion eaters.
@@fydiousmckormick I honestly forgot Morai even existed. SWT was reallllyyy reaching for this reference.
I agree, great analysis. The LT wanted Mayday left to rot, and the Ice Vulture would have surely gotten to him, as Mayday told Crosshair in the beginning. That thought is what led Crosshair to finally revolt.
That vulture is far bigger than Morai as well.
To add on to this, the closed captions also call it an ice vulture.
Crosshair’s loyalty to the Empire, however misguided, is admirable. Hopefully now he sees the truth though
I’m certain he knows the truth. Whether he sees it or not, he killed the Lieutenant so he already made the choice of deserting
It wasn't loyalty a good soldier does his duty natzis said the same thing he was used for what he was and discarded let's hope he redeems himself and helps his brothers
dude literally stood 32 days on kamino and when asked why he said im a soldier of the empire
@@scemer4719 if that’s not loyalty, I don’t know what is
Pity the empire didn't give a shit about him he saw it with his brothers and was silly to think he was different
Maydey’s helmet sadly now joined his fellow men. And all of the helmets were most likely discarded like objects 😢
Seeing him save what he calls a reg is really heartwarming
The subtitles called the bird an ice vulture. And mayday said that if you die out there you’re food for the vultures. I think the statement combined with the vulture is what made crosshair crack
Yup
theory was stretching that like crazy tbf
I'm digging Mayday's armor design. The way it's the standard clone army but with more wraps to make up for pieces lost. He looks like he just walked out of Fallujah.
Looks like some Star Wars the force unleashed skin
i dont think parts were lost i think he jsut has extra wrapping as he said just having armour on isnt enough and you will freeze
Now Crosshair sees the real horror of the Empire. He thought if he remained a loyal soldier that he’ll have a place in the new regime, but after this episode he truly realized what his brothers were trying to tell him all this time.
Very much like all the people now who follow the mainstream narratives and "the current thing." The useful idiots all think they'll have a place in the new global regime but they'll be the first ones to be told to face the wall and shot after their usefulness is over. Happens everytime.
I think he is in for a real horror show... god knows what they will do to him... I think he will be geneticly modified, brainwashed and maybe turned into the first of the Dark Troopers... Those last scenes did not make me hopefull for his future at all!
@@JokerInk-CustomBuilds bad batch might break him out, I’d bet on it
So great having both Mando and Bad Batch dropping in the same night! Had a blast at the watch party last night!
I was growing a bit bored of the bad batch but then out of nowhere the last 2 episodes have been absolutely fantastic. Really excited for this arc!
I loved this episode, I thought way Crosshair went from seeing Mayday as potential "dead weight," to fighting against all odds to save him - quite literally dragging him back - really developed his character. Especially his humanity and obvious sense of justice and injustice, clearly depicted by his execution of the Lieutenant. I hope to see more episodes following Crosshair as he decides what orders he should and should not follow just like his old squad did before him.
Maydays death was the saddest scene in the whole whole. Even his armor is degrading and it shows how much they really don't care about my clone boys. RIP Mayday, most emotional episode, and the darkest.
Yes, that's a great point! I love that they stay true to the poetic nature of Star Wars.
I’m gonna have to disagree on the Morai theory. We’ve only ever seen her appear, whenever Ahsoka appears. And there’s no evidence that Morai alters her appearance to suit the climate or whatever. That would not be the smartest move for them to do, without an appearance from Ahsoka. Mayday even names them Ice Vultures, in the episode.
I agree. I feel like that's an unnecessary stretch that really has nothing to do with his story. I think he just saw the vulture and thought "I'll give him more scraps to eat..." before killing him off.
I agree, not everything has to be linked to the Force or Ahsoka, i'm getting tired of her being shoehorned into everything.
Yeah, I agree. The vulture is definitely a significant feature of the episode, but I think that's because it's used as a framing device/symbol, not as a hint to a character returning.
Agree
I think he was mad because the lieutenant wanted crosshair to leave mayday on the ground for the vultures, and yeah when he went into that Ashoka stuff I was just sitting there like “what is he goin on about, that’s so stupid”
The part when Crosshair asks for a medic reminds me of the Andor episode when they let the old man die.
This episode was op and seeing Crosshair again was amazing. At the end of the episode he really gave off the vibes that he will join the rest of the squad again. We got to see so much of his character.
Nolan carried the same level of hatred and disrespect to the clones just like General Krell. I really loved this episode and how they showed Crosshair just having a change of heart was brilliantly told. I threw my fist in the air and screamed when Crosshair turned on Nolan😂
only difference is krells hatred was more justified as he sensed order 66
@Dutch Van Der Linde it was more that he turned and was serving Dooku and trying to hand Umbara over to the separatists
@@iampotatogaming1686 yeah but that was only because he knew order 66 was imminent. krell was an opportunist thats why he was cruel because he needed to get rid of those clones but nolan was needlessly cruel which makes him worse in my opinion
Another cool commander to add to the list of clones killed too soon.
I'd guess Crosshair is on Mt. Tantiss simply because he was identified as a Clone Force 99 member. So the doctor's going to manipulate him into hunting and capturing Omega. Maybe his chip will be re-installed, or he'll be kept on surveillance somehow on that mission
Or be a dark trooper
I think irs just a set up so all our characters will end up at the same location for the shows final episodes
I was so proud of him! He finally understood!
But if Tech dies, I'm going to riot!
Most likely echo
@@Marcus-ly2bi I doubt it be echo because they want a sad dead so prolly another member. When I mean sad, like sad as in someone who’s gotten a lot of time in this particular show.
I honestly think it will be Crosshair sacrificing himself to save Omega as redemption. Just basing off of Star War's reoccurring redemption theme.
Tech will be fine
Wrecker will die
They really keep introducing awesome clones, getting us so attached, and then offing them. Way to play with my heart Filoni. 👏🏼
Only way to truly experience what happened with the clones. Get ready to cry later on as one or more Bad Batch member dies.
It was humanizing them with names which makes us feel for them. If they were just nameless it wouldn’t have the same impact
@@mikkel066h I’m still sad about 99’s death after all of these years
@@lucianodimeglio 99 was a name for that clone. Just like Fives. They had a persona, but giving them a name and a face is different then them having just their CT-Number with helmets on.

Crosshair is definitely turning his cheek from the empire. Hope he doesn’t die and gets back with his brothers ❤️
I think that is very unlikely to happen... I got real bad vibes from those last scenes.... I think he will be experimented on, have his free will and thoughts taken and be turned into something horrible... as others suspekt I think we are witnessing the birth of the first draktroopers... :/
@Joker Ink and Custom Builds what are "draktroopers"?
@@lolmetswhathappeneduhhh2029 They are the ones created from my fasttyping fat fingers...
Anyone notice the scientist working on Crosshair had Omega's voice?
Loved this episode... Very reminiscent of how American vets are often be treated, especially during the Vietnam era. Millions of clones that have gained their individuality, saved countless lives during the Clone Wars... All for them to be discarded like they were nothing. Truly a tragedy... What's even more twisted is that they were forced to kill the Jedi, those who they lived/fought with for years. The clones are obviously the superior trooper compared to the goofy, clunky stormtroopers, but the empire is focused on cloning experiments and the vast conscription of regular people... Funny... The rebellion wouldn't stand a chance if the clones were kept in mass active duty. Makes me wonder how many priority/specialty clones stay in service and/or if we'll see a clone rebellion/uprising.
I HATE the Vietnam War and I HATE the fact that the American government forced so many innocent Americans to go disnover there, but the way veterans were treated by both the American government and the American public after the war ended is nothing short of disgusting
They never asked to go fight halfway across the world in a jungle, yet when they came back they were treated like the scum of the earth. Society saw them as nothing but unwanted garbage. It’s so sad
Well, there were more than enough idiotic Clone Troopers as well.
Just wait till we're conscripted and forced to fight WW3 against Russia and China even though we were yelling at bottom of our lungs to the retarded masses that the current conflict in Ukraine needs to end asap before it becomes a nuclear conflict.
@@juansanchez209 Not much has changed. The people who come back from overseas are discarded and left to fend for themselves which is not great when they're also suffering from PTSD.
So the empire is the American military command?...the pentagon the CIA the FBI the military industrial complex?...yep have to agree
The two crosshair episodes this season are by far the best and its not even close in my opinion.
I liked crosshairs PTSD scene with the shuttle blowing up and him panicking because of the past experience.
Also that line Mayday says “in my book, respect is something that is earned” was a bit of a reference to Rex’s quote “experience outranks everything”
He was wearing a thermal scope that burned his eyes. Idk if it was ptsd
I thought that was just him being blinded by the explosion while using the thermal vision goggles plus hella zoom
Maybe, It was exaggerated quite a bit so I initially thought it was his PTSD since he did have quite a traumatic experience when his face burnt off
@@ravantstudios3113 It was actually because he had his thermal scope on because of the snow. Then, since the ship blew up, it was like a lightning strike, and it blinded him.
i also thought of Rex’s “experience outranks everything” when Mayday said that
I’m having a feeling that Crosshair is going to become a dark trooper and some of the clones.
Oh god I never thought of that... I hope that doesn't happen but it seems very probable
Cody didn't become a Dark Trooper in legends. He served the rest of his life on Kamino training non clone soldiers and was eventually killed when either Starkiller broke out or when the Rebellion took over.

Mayday, only being in one episode, is going to be a fan favorite clone everyone loves now along with Howzer. Just shows how Doo the direction and writing is
I knew that Crosahair was gonna see the light side sooner or later.
I feel like someone from the bad batch will die in order for Crosshair to rejoin the rest, or, as the ultimate sacrifice, Crosshair might give his life for one of his former brothers.
I feel like since Omega is now hunted by the researchers, maybe they'll take her from Clone Force 99 and take her to the same facility as Crosshair, The Bad Batch will try to get her back as they are about to meet their demise, Crosshair might save the day and again, imo there's only two outcomes. Either Tech gives his life for Crosshair or it's Crosshair giving his own for someone or all of them. just a thought
That makes a lot of sense, I feel like there's a tie in that they've been setting up for. Bringing all these characters to the facility and setting in place more reasons for everyone to be involved or affected by it in some way. So it being a matter of time till the whole gang's there for some reason. Who knows, maybe they even operate on and then force Crosshair to hunt down Omega (even if that's very far fetched).
@@Cloud7050 i mean they might re-activate his chip or implant a new one in order to get her or something like that? forcing the others to put aside their past and brotherhood in order to save Omega. it is far fetched indeed but it's a possibility, doesn't really make sense because it kills this episode completely, he finally snapped just to get controlled again? i mean it's star wars. everything is possible

Seeing how the empire ignored Mayday and let him die, calling him used equipment makes my heart break. And those other two clones who just died…when they are named it just feels so much more.
This Crosshair episode was definitely dark and went even further than any other SW show or movies ever would. I was so devastated, heartbroken, and hurt when Crosshair actually tried to help Mayday. Especially since he just gained respect for that clone trooper. The fact that he got redeemed after he was showing remorse for leaving the Bad Batch and even caring for dying Mayday is just so deep. Also, I was crying really hard when they just left Mayday to die without any help from the medic. 😢😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭

I can't wait for Crosshair reunite with the Bad Batch.
I hope crosshair meets up with Cody again, if Cody contacted Rex (as he’s the main dude who helped clones escape) Crosshair could meet both Rex and Echo which would probably be our first time seeing Crosshair and Echo interact to each other and possibly bond more as brothers helping other clones, then the bad batch will go back to Rex and Echo and find out Crosshair is there and have tensions rise between the batch and Crosshair.
If there was a tense reunion between the bad batch and crosshair, Omega will be there to calm things down as she knew there was still good in him.

Something that hit so hard was after they found the Stormtrooper armor is when Mayday say, "We were good soldiers, we followed orders" that shit just hit hard
If I was an Imperial stormtrooper or officer I would at least have a high level for respect for the Clones and even fight with them on the front lines. The clones deserved better. :(
this episode was absolutely brilliant. 10/10 performance and character development for crosshair, it was really impactful to see him finally do the right thing by gunning down the lieutenant.
i hope we see more from him in the next few episodes, same with Cody, Rex, Echo, etc.
I genuinely thought he was going to kill everyone
I almost cried, Mayday suffered so much, and was treated by the Empire like a droid, all clones were.
Something we have all learned is false.
Crosshair I also loved his character arc.
From going to a cynical sniper who poked fun at regular troopers, to nearly dying saving one. The desperation as they huddled together on Hoth 2.0.
I’m heart broken, and excited at the same time. Crosshair did the galaxy of one upstart Imperial boot licking clone hating empire loving no respect nobody lieutenant
I hated Rampart, but I can see it’s only getting worse.
Funfact, in Captain Brigg’s cameo, (who was likely reassigned to Coruscant during her failures at Raxus thanks to the Bad Batch) treating the clones as if she were some tired IRS agent.
This was amazing, I feel absolutely terrible for Commander Mayday, amazing break down as always theory : )

I just noticed this episode how close crosshair's armor is to the deathtroopers! Loved the episode
Crosshair didn't say that his troupe died he said "they're gone" which was a very deliberate choice on his part to not 'technically' lie. Not that he would care about lying, but the empire might care if they thought he was hidding them.
Also, I love how Crosshair gets briefly blinded at the beginning of the episode. It is symbolic of how he has been blinded by lies and by a hope in an empire that has not existed for years now.
I’m I the only one who has been enjoying these recent Bad Batch episodes more than the mandalorian ones
General krell”I am the worlds most hated character the galaxy has ever seen!!!”
Nolan “hold my beer “
7:41 Or more likely Dr. Hemlock will enlist Crosshair’s help in finding the Bad Batch in order to locate Omega at Lama Su’s suggestion in Hemlock’s efforts to persuade Nala Se to cooperate in the Empire’s cloning experiments
It would be way too cliche to have Crosshair redeemed, only to have him sacrifice himself and die and becoming a martyr for a clone rebellion. They have the opportunity to show a redeemed hero move past the trauma of their past actions and actually show the healing process. That would further Crosshair’s story arc, and maybe give hope to people in real life.
6:30 actually earlier in the episode the clone commander made a comment about how he admires those very birds, saying they adapt, and that clones do too
Anytime you see crosshair you automatically know its not a filler- and I immediately go get some pizza and other stuff
From "Good Soldiers follow order" to "We're good soldiers, we followed order. And for what?"
Crosshair finally realized!
Hunter *did* tell Crosshair that the latter will only be seen as a number to the Empire.
It reminds me of what Kilowag said to Razer in the Green Lantern animated series: “You know what you’re fighting against, but what are you fighting for?”
I always thought that the bird Crosshair saw was a call back to Mayday explaining that the vultures survive because they adapt. It seemed that Ceosshair was realizing that if he wanted to survive, he would need to change things up and break ranks this time.
more so because vultures east the dead aka it would eat maydays body
Liked the episode. Crosshair w/o a helmet on his journey back in the cold. No signs of frostbite on his face/head. I kind of wished the writers would have CH to find in the snow the new stormtrooper helmet to wear on the back to the outpost.
It was soooo good. This is real Star Wars content that moves me :) Theory YOU ROCK! I follow you since 2018 when I needed inspiration for my own created Sci-fi Fantasy Universe. You have such a Talent to translate Comics, breakdowns and anything into a great Story. YOU SHOULD WORK FACE TO FACE WITH DAVE AND JON. You can do it. You already got so many connections at Disney with Actors and Stunt Coordinators you interviewed :) I feel like the door is open for you. It's just a couple of calls Away!
DO IT! MY APPRENTICE :)
Much Love
My guess is Crosshair being at Mount Tantiss sets up his reunion with the Bad Batch, since it's likely Omega will be captured now that the Empire is after her, and the Bad Batch will have to break her out of Mount Tantiss.
Whether Crosshair will still be himself or trapped in a cybernetic suit as a Dark Trooper is a different matter.
Yeah I was thinking that the bad batch will have to go to mount tantis probably to save omega and they will find crosshair along the way. But I actually think crosshair will redeem and sacrifice himself to allow the bad batch to escape with omega.
I've been thinking that since the beginning.
This visually was a phenomenal episode
This was a really cool episode and I like how it showed the problems clones face during the transition
You know a show has potential when half of its episodes ar filler and still It keeps you attached to the screen.🔥
Ya lost me with the bird being morai. I think he just sees the vulture as the symbolic inevitable future for the clones under the empire and drives his decision further to shoot.
It’s cool having an overlap of the bad batch and mando. Two awesome episodes from both series this week!
loved this episode.. now i am just worried for the bad batch because i don't want anyone to die
One thing I noticed in this episode was the music in places largely resembled the last episode of The Clone Wars. There were lots of moments without vocals but just powerful emotive music that almost perfectly resembled the same scores from the last scene of TCW when Vader visits the crashed venator. I think it was symbolic of the changing period between the clones of the Republic and the new Empire. Interesting that they chose to replicate that!
Theory finds a way to mention Plo Koon saying "Not to me" in any video lol love it
It was worth the wait and time for this episode of crosshair finally realizing how much the bad batch were right about the empire I think the last two part episode will determine what happens but I’m glad to say this episode just helps builds more of the plot then at the beginning.
Actually Theory while I liked you pointing out the Morai connection, I really wanted to see that Ice Vulture come down and tear Lt. Nolan's flesh off his corpse!
I think crosshair keeping his loyalty to his brothers and rejecting the empire is perfectly paralleled with Dins unyielding loyalty to his beliefs, and bolth episodes being the same day. As George said it's poetry it rhymes
I don't think the bird was an inspiration, actually the opposite. It's a vulture, which eats dead things. Thinking of how Mayday would be left here to be eaten by the empire is what pushed him over the edge.
Fantastic episode! Seeing these awesome one off clones makes me want to know what happened to my boy Howzer.
Yeah I agree they had him arrested and than we never saw him again hope he wasnt killed
Hey Theory, as someone who only watches at night the day after could you please stop putting spoilers in the titles of your videos? I love the breakdowns but sometimes your titles just reveal key plot points.
Hey theory I’ve watched you for years your videos really make me happy keep up the content 👍
The episodes with crosshair this season have easily been 10/10 episodes I love to see the growth
Literally whenever Crosshair shows up you know it's about to get real
This is the second week in a row where the bad batch episode has been better than the Mando season 3 episode
