I don't think Bo is faking it. I think seeing the Mythosaur was a spiritual moment for her. She has commented multiple times about how the thing that bothers her the most is the fracturing of her people. The only way to bring them all together is to take the viewpoint of the most extreme faction and work toward middle ground. This is just the beginning of Bo's redemption arc.

She went to rescue him without even thinking about it, she cares far more about the Mandalorian people being reunited than selfishly ruling them herself. On the contrary, Vizla has spite for her & her clan, sees her as an ages-old clan rival, and he’s envious of Din. He’s going to do something rash because he believes it’s his birthright. At some point Bo will tell Din about the mythosaur & she’ll tell him that he’s the one who needs to do it. Somebody to rule Mandalore with a clean slate, who believes in the way, and has no thirst for power. Din is the perfect pick. He’s a good man, who doesn’t seek fame/fortune/power, and he cares about his people. The darksaber came to him for a reason, and now the mythosaur has revealed itself in his presence.

Not only was that unusually strategic for Imperials, but this strategy of a fleet ambushing in the Clouds has happened once before in Rebels S4 E9, as Hera and her fleet entered Lothal, where they were ambushed by TIE Fighters in the clouds. It’s in her bloodline , She’s a princess
Her life has no meaning to her if she isn’t a leader.
As for THE MANDALORIAN I believe Bo respects Din’s “childish” views and ways and also sees it as exactly what’s needed to have mandalore rise again since the planet is actually habitable. She understands Din’s views are needed for what it takes to reinstate mandalore and so that’s how Din is now key in Bo’s plan to take what’s rightfully hers so she will work and play along by his side so she can eventually retake The throne.
I see it as a Avatar 1 kinda thing where jake sully is an outsider to the Navi but since he takes the orange bird lol, he becomes toruk makto and because of the Navis ancient ways and beliefs they now seem him as their leader. Bo will try to be their toruk makto.
Remember when she thought Din had shown up once again at her home she said “let’s get rid of him once and for all”
She is not changing her views thanks to spending time with Din. She only understands he’s key to her being able to rule “something” again.
However, she’s not THE MANDALORIAN whose legend will be told to foundlings for generations to come. Din Djarin is. Even tho Bo will try and tame mythosaur, din will end up doing it himself with help of Grogu. At the end the mandalorian will become the first of the new rise of the creed in mandalore having tamed mythosaur, wielding darksaber and by having Grogu under his wing that’s how mandalorians will once again work alongside force wielders as they once did. Since they know they can trust him. Din will be the one to bring mandalore back and Grogu will bring back the Jedi order. They’re equals in many ways.

I'm pretty sure she thinks this will help her take charge later on, but I definitely also think that she now understands how important having everyone stand behind a single culture can help unify Mandalorians in the first place.

Great vid SWT. I felt bad for Pershing when he realized he was set up. It was really cool to see Coruscant post-Empire, I kept scanning the skylne for the Jedi Temple, couldn't find though.

My sense is that Bo may well be weighing her future options, given her secret knowledge of the mythosaur and her sudden inclusion in a new faction she has previously mocked, but I do NOT think she is all cynical calculation and ridicule in her head at this point. The acting since the sighting of the mythosaur, and even at the moment of Bo’s sudden, full acceptance into a new group, suggests to me that she is reeling from these new events, sifting through her former feelings and possibly rethinking them.

Although I may not understand it immediately, or at all over time, I always have to remember that everything is intentional. Every little detail is important in some way, to the story

I know the middle part may have felt sort of slow to some but I loved this episode! Even the middle! It showed us even more of Coruscant, I also still love the parallels between Mando and Bad Batch. Mando is really now showing the transition from Empire to New Republic in a way we haven’t explored and I think it’s intriguing to see ways in which corruption is obviously already a problem in the new Republic and show how once again the republic is just like the empire in being willing to unethically do things to erase the past regime.

Didn’t Bo Katan and the nite owls dip because Pre Vizla was killed by maul? Or have they gone and changed the lore again

They dipped because they didn't see Maul as worthy of the saber or of being the leader of the planet regardless of him winning the saber.

If memory suits me right Bo Katan didn’t leave Pre Vizsla’s Death Watch. She left when Darth Maul beheaded Pre Vizsla stating “Mandalore will never be ruled by an outsider!” Despite their way being that ‘the strongest shall rule’. Bo Katan is a major hypocrite.

It was another great episode. I found it very nice that all the Mandalorians were there and welcomed back Din and Bo like that.
