Rob was a couple years behind me in high school and played the high school talent show when he was in like 8th or 9th grade. I think they played Rush Tom Sawyer and absolutely killed it. I was totally floored and Thinking back, it was probably one the main factors that lead me to pick up a guitar in the first place . As I am getting my weekly RUclips guitar dose from my favorite RUclips guitar teacher Papastache, it makes me smile to see Rob on an episode. Cheers to both of you and thanks for the music!
Rob was rad. I love the way he emphasized feel. I've been playing for 30 years but am only now starting to learn fingerstyle and blues techniques. I have always been drawn to the sound. Danka!!!
Rob is the man! Hopefully we can get him in here more often!
This guy is a natural... great lesson and genuinely a funny guy!

Rob had great guitar style and on camera style. Glad to see papa back too!

Welcome back Brett! And its going to be a pleasure learning some Delta blues from Rob, who's already shown off a considerable sense of humor to go with his mean chops.
Simple, but not easy, to play.
When I first heard early blues I thought, wow that's simple, anyone could play that. But now, many years later, I still can't lol

Love this type of rhythm style! But I'm having a problem with getting the A part rhythm pattern right or feeling right... Not sure when to pluck the whole chord or just the A string.... If any body can help that'd be great. Big thanks for the lessons and all!

My favourite part is when he says,"Feel the difference? I bet your Momma feels the difference!"
Lol! Rob is a funny cat!
Way to go Papastache! You always come through, man! I see the switch plate on his tele is reversed, always seemed logical to me....
Thanks! Rob's tele is amazing!!!!! Love that thing. Going to try to do some more with Rob soon.

Nobody's arguing least of all my mama!
I've heard this rhythm before, in a song. Any idea where it comes from?
George Thorogood...One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer. It's very talking blues style.
thank you. Not familiar with talking blues style, but i'll check it out now. Appreciate it!
So how do you get this guys job
Got to be insanely good at coming up with parts under pressure. Met lots of great guitar players but only a handful that can do what they do.
you two should record a jam

Bill Burr and Matthew McConaughey are pretty cool.
