- Review | Nexigo N660P 1080p/60 Webcam | This One We Like! We have reviewed a lot of webcams over the past year as more and more people are working from home or doing some form of video chatting. Even if it's just to communicate with those that we are separated from. So when Nexigo reached out to us to try their Nexigo N660P 1080p/60 Webcam. We were down for it. But we really didn't expect too much. But I must say that if you are looking for a nice webcam and a decent price you should definitely look at the Nexigo N660P 1080p/60 Webcam. We put the Nexigo N660P 1080p/60 Webcam up against the new Macbook Pro M1 webcam (which we really like) and I must say that it did better. But really it's up to you to decide what you think of the quality of the Nexigo N660P 1080p/60 Webcam. Let us know in the comments.

I think this may be one of the better webcams that we have tested on the channel. Nice color and good field of view. Plus the autofocus works really well!

Thanks for this review. I was searching Amazon for a webcam, and the choice is overwhelming. Many profess to have the same qualities, etc, but at widely different prices. It's hard to know which product to buy. Having too many choices is as bad as not enough! Anyway, this one was the only one (that I came across) under my limit of £60 (I paid £50.15!) that had all the features I wanted (HD, 60fps, tripod-mountable, swivel head, autofocus, usb connection and privacy cover), but I wondered if it's actually any good. So your video was very helpful! It prompted me to go ahead and make the purchase. Thanks again for your great review.
Out of all the webcams that I’ve tested. This is one of my favourites.
you can change the camera in zoom by selecting them at the bottom left corner camera symbol (small arrow)
Agree with you Greg some of these manuals are ridiculous! I have to use a magnifier glass to read them. Top video again man your brilliant at editing so so professional!
yeah im actually reviewing a product now that the text is so small in the manual it just doesn't make sense. But i guess it at least comes with one.

Thanks for the great video. Does it have a zoom feature? I got the Nexigo HelloCam, which has good dynamic range and picture quality much as you show in the N660P - but I was disappointed that is has no zoom feature to adjust the field of view as needed.

For the money, it is hard to beat. Looks sharp, has good color, hassle free for most people (unlike many cheapos). If you are willing to adjust the old sliders in the setup you can get it even nicer looking for your particular use.

Picked one up the other day for around 40 bucks brand new from Amazon. Figured it would be a great beginner cam for my son... who wants to get into streaming his hobbies. Glad to see alot of people enjoy the webcam!

Greg. This is exactly what I was looking for. I have an external monitor running through docking station and the monitor doesn't have a camera. I'm reentering the work force after a short hiatus and will be working in the IT industry. I need something suitable for meetings and client calls and such as that. This appears to fit the bill without breaking the bank. You may have just sold it! Thanks for giving me a positive feeling about it. Keep up the good work!

Wow, pretty impressive! I do wish you could have taken the light out of that window so everything is evenly lit. I'd like to sub it for your studio cam.
Sure, but most people are using these cameras in scenarios that arent lit well. So having uneven light is actually a good test for the camera.
5:09 The camera's base acts like a tripod. It will sit on a flat surface in a stable way, and it can be tilted. Also, the base is threaded to easily attach to any camera tripod, and it clips to the top of a flat screen display nicely.
Is there a driver software i can download for NexiGo N660P Pro? I want to maximize my settings.

@@DennisMathias i didn't find any. I was not able to put it on 60fps settings. I ended up replacing it with a China made webcam, at least I can still stream even when my room is dark. Nexigo can't do that.

what is the actual camera you are using for your yt videos?
Currently i use multiple cameras on the channel. In our main studio area I shoot with a Canon R6 as the main camera and the top down camera is a Sony ZV-1. And when I shoot at my editing desk the main camera is a Sony A7C and the b-cam is a Sony ZV-E10.
I just got my N660P and it was easy to use and works fine, but mine has a small-ish red dot, which might be a dot of red tape, near the camera lens, in front at about the "2:00 o'clock" position. What is that red dot for? I don't see any photos showing anybody else having that.
The camera is shipped with a little piece of protective film over the lens. For heavens sake, peel off the red dot, get the plastic film out of the way, and your video will become much more clear.
@@erintyres3609 Thanks for your Reply. The red dot is not over the lens and I can see that the image is very clear. The dot is outside of the lens area, just outside, at about 2 o' clock. If RUclips allowed for posting images, I would. It's probably of very little consequence but I've wondered why the heck that dot of red tape is there.
@@trysometruth One of the unboxing videos for this camera shows the same red dot, and the reviewer mentioned it and peeled it off. I bought my camera used, so I haven't seen that film or peeled it myself, but I am quite sure that's what it is. Good luck!

@@erintyres3609 I found an unboxing video for this camera and sure enough it has that red dot in the same place... and yeah... what I'm looking at must be the remnent of the exact same thing... in other words... I don't have the protective film over my lens... but I have some of the tape that's supposed to help me remove that film and realize I need to remove the film. You solved it. Thank you!

As for the manual, it may be inconvenient but hopefully they have a PDF version you can get.

Just to share, Apple is a very closed and controlled market, its not universal nor practical so I don't see why manufactures have to through in freebees or adapt their product for such a market. Over priced hyped apple products are what they were designed to be, stubborn tech, flashy with restraints and their buys knowingly fork money out for the it, and they will fork out more for the next best apple model

Get rid of the privacy slider it's a pain in the butt and it's in the way if you really need that much proud of C unplug the web cam was not in use.
You know they can still hear you with a privacy slide over they just can't see you. LMIO at such paranoid people.
It's really irritating when you watch a webcam review and the person hardly even shows the webcam.
what are you talking about? theres plenty of shots of the actual webcam and lots of video of the quality of the image it provides.
I know right, i came here to see the video quality and the video is 90% talk 5% audio and barely any video quality of the product.
