  • We've all seen or tried out the 1080p 30fps webcams but only until I got to use the Nexigo N660P camera did I realize how much of a difference 60fps makes. I compare it with the fifine k420 and one of my Unzanos (which beat out all of my Logitechs).

    After buying c920, c922, c930's for family, I bought myself the Nexigo N660p. Fantastic quality ESPECIALLY THE HIGHER QUALITY MIC which you didn't mention but it CRUSHES the logitech cameras ... The MIC quality is often horrible on sub-$100 cameras but this one has $60 mic quality on a $60 camera+mic !!

    Why doesn't anyone ever review the software that comes with the webcam? It's every bit as important as the webcam.

    • @akaDAD
      @akaDAD  6 месяцев назад

      The software did not come out until after I made this video. I spoke to them and told them to promote the fact they have their own software to go with their webcams.
      It’s basic but works well. The “Save” and “Load” could work a little better or it needs an auto-save feature.

    • @akaDAD

      Some webcams play nice with others and can be plugged into a USB 3.0 hub together. If not, make sure they’re plugged into different USB ports on the motherboard.
      As far as recording, I use OBS Studio. Set up sources for each camera, position/size of each, and can turn them on/off from there. Also have to set up the audio sources for mic and system.

      @@akaDAD Really appreciate the reply. I am actually putting together a podcast settup. My plan is to evolve it from a single webcam or camera shot and then get up to at-least 3 cameras, plus screen capturing. I will be using a RODE Podcaster as my audio interface which holds up to 4 mics and 4 headphone sets. I then would like to have 3 cameras settup (eventually) and am trying to source the most budget friendly in terms of capture card and having it source into the PC/MAC and then able to film/record and to also have the option to live-stream.

      Webcams have settings for color correction that they feel works best with their hardware/software.
      95% of the time those settings won’t work with your setup. You’ll want to make adjustments to the contrast, gamma, white balance, saturation, and sharpness.
      I made the changes that I thought were best for my setup but it may have been on the green side.
