- Review | OneOdio A71D Gaming Headset | Perfect All Round Headphones? We have reviewed some of the OneOdio Headphones in the past and for the price, they are hard to complain about. So the folks over at Oneodio reached out and asked if we wanted to try their OneOdio A71D Gaming Headset. Most definitely. I have to say that these are such a nice budget-friendly piece of gear. If you are looking for a gaming headset of something to use for your zoom or video calls, then make sure to look at the OneOdio A71D Gaming Headset. The other super nice feature of the OneOdio A71D Gaming Headset and a big reason that I can see myself using these a lot is the fact that the boom mic on the OneOdio A71D Gaming Headset is completely removable! How amazing is that? Such a small thing but makes these so great. I don't want to wear a pair of headphones out of the house if there is a boom mic attached, but with the OneOdio A71D Gaming Headset I can take it off. So nice.

What a great headset and a nice price. Plus the removable boom mic is such a great feature. Anyone else use this headset? Thoughts?

Using them for a year. Absolutely happy. But bought soundcard and thinking of something better for price about 70$. Can I recommend some?...

Problem is as with 99% of headphones they break within a short period of time.

Didn't know they had this model, I bought the A71 by mistake thinking I ordered the Bluetooth version, A70 ones.
They fit pretty nice, much better than the 50mm studio wireless I bought after the A71. Mine came with the mic and volume cable as one that plugs into the 3.5mm side and I can connect to another device with the included 1/4" to 3.5mm cable meant for sharing to another user. You might be able to do the same with your A71D, just need have another of their 3.5mm cables or in you can find a plug thin enough to go into their housing.
Think I prefer if the cable was detachable so you can replace it, have a couple of hardwired cans that went bad when the epoxied wire at the can end worn out from frequent bending, and shorts to the other wires. Have to take them apart and re-wire them unlike just cutting off the plug end and putting on a new one.
The sound quality was surprisingly good with excellent bass.
For the price its a very nice set of headphones. Im enjoying them.

Very nice product review and glad they are a winner with you! They would be nice when I'm on my ps4 pro and Xbox one x playing Tomb raider or resident evil. Very nice on price too. Can they get very loud? Easy to adjust volume on these? I like to play online multiplayer sometimes so these would be nice. They look nice on you and that game reminds me of a game I played years ago but can't remember the name of it. They should be in amazon uk? Nice product and stay safe!

Just bought it and when i use the cable with mic i can only listen to background music, which means in games i can hear footsteps but dont know which direction it comes. The 6mm to 3.5mm cable works fine tho. Any1 have a solution?

i use this headset and its giving me headache. audio from pc is coming to the microphone even when i take the boom mic off.
Nice review man. May i ask is this good for watching movies or anime in a pc? Because I noticed on the other reviews it only focuses on music so I want to know if its sounds good for watching shows.
I have the A71 pair that has both a 1/4" and their lockable 3.5mm ports, this model comes with a all-in-one mic and volume/mute control cable and a 1/4" to their locking 3.5mm cable, and the mic and audio splitter.
They sound great for shows and anime. Voice is clear and bass is nice. I'm 46 so I have a hard time hearing 15khz and up. :(
They also have a Bluetooth version of the A71 called the A70.
How is the bass of this phone?

I agree, I didn't know til now there was a A71D model. Best is the A70 which is the A71 but with Bluetooth.
Its pretty nice headphones for its price but i didnt like its loudness, it feels a little low loudness !

a71 has inline mic with aux cable, a71d has detachable mic

What's the difference between the A71 and the A71D?
I have the A71, the A71 is the same but instead of the hardwired the A71 has a 1/4" jack. The A71 come with a all-in-one boom mic and volume/mute control cable, a 1/4" plug to their lockable 3.5mm plug and the mic/headphone splitter adapter. The A71 can receive from 2 sources or share music to another headphones. You might be able to do the same with A71D if the mic plug is completely wired.
There is also the A70 which are the same as the A71 but with a Bluetooth receiver built-in, I'm not sure what cables are included tho.

@@gregtoope arrived earlier today Tried with my Xbox controller and unfortunately the mic didn't work but I believe it's because I'm using a powerA controller but the sound is phenomenal with excellent bass I'm glad I brought this product will let you know how the mic is once I've brought a original Xbox controller

Is A71 same as A71D?
A71 has removable cables, A71D doesnt i think
A71 also comes with 2 cables, one 3.5 to 3.5 cable with the mic (boom mic that's attached to the cable) and a coiled 3.5 to 6mm cable with no mic that's supposed to have better quality.
@@SpaceRanger21 I don't think it suppose to have better audio, just a option to plug into 1/4" sources and also to share to another user.
@@themadatheist1976 well I bought the headphones after making that comment and the 1/4" cable does have better audio quality then the 3.5mm cable.
