- 👋 Check out one of the coolest cars around! The Mercedes Benz AMG GTS looks every bit a supercar, but you can buy one under $100,000 and it packs so much for the money! This AMG GTS costs inline with a brand new Corvette, but feels more exotic and fun to drive. The 2016 Mercedes AMG GTS packs a 4.0L twin turbocharged V8 with 503 horsepower and 479 torque. The lightning fast 7 speed dual clutch transmission delivers to power to the rear wheel and this car takes off! Very balanced feeling car to drive with more of an analog feeling. The power is the perfect level and the drive modes let you dial in the performance. The sound of the V8 is awesome! AMG makes some of the best sounding engines out there! The AMG GTS feels like an exotic muscle car! I love the interior on the GTS too. Very refined with leather and alcantara covering everything and it feels like a special car. This AMG GTS is covered in a full STEK Dyno Matte paint protection film which makes it look like a brand new car! The roof even has the STEK Carbon PPF and it looks like real carbon fiber. If you are looking for a true supercar the Mercedes AMG GTS is something to take a look at! This car makes modern sportscars look too expensive. For $60k you can buy a Supra. For $65k you can buy a Nismo Z. And for $70k, you can buy a Dark Horse Mustang. The 20 teens era of performance cars are the sweet spot and you can get a six figure supercar for just a bit more then the new sportscar. AMG GTS surprised me and is one heck of a fun car! Great daily driver and would be fantastic on the mountain roads carving through the turns!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed Good to hear, Jaguars are understated. He should have a look at SVR. If youre looking for a high spec GT then AMG GTR is worth considering. Theyre 76k and up here. Obviously a lot of people go 911 Carrera 4S or R8 V10. But I rather go left for something a bit different.

Depends. I'd pick my Lambo over everything. But I liked this car a lot and would love to own one of these if it made sense
how reliable is this
They seem pretty solid overall. Never really saw many issues pop up with these over the years
@@BrosFOURRSpeed they did need recalls and gearbox oil leak and driveshaft recall replacement the only things. Basically get a warranty as transmission isnt cheap.
Very reliable. The cost of a B2B from Fidelity is under 3k for 36,000 miles of coverage. Same engine across all GT models minus BS. These are very well made and reliable, as stated above, the driveshaft had a recall but most of the affected cars were repaired under warranty at no cost to owners.
